User Image The waves crashed on the shore as the mare stood knee deep in the surf. Crash after crash as salty droplets sprayed on her pelt, but the mare didn't seem to mind as her sights were set out to sea; the breeze picking up and tossing her considerable amount of locks behind her twisting and turning.

See, the mare wasn't really there in a sense. Even as she stood stationary, she imagined herself a human ship; breaking through the waves on her journey across the treacherous sea, perhaps to discover new land or on a quest for fortune. In reality, she'd been standing there for more or less of two hours just staring off...lost in her own fantasy.

However there were a few things which could pull her from such a state; a deadly sound, the weather, and most often....something touching her. Unluckily for her, it was the third which drew her out of her world to look down at her hooves and to an octopus which had attached itself to her leg.

Letting out a shrill of a cry she kicked and stomped and otherwise made the biggest fuss she could manage in the shallow waters; despite her ability to battle dragons and hold up to massive attacks in her mind...this was nothing compared to a slimy small octopus on her leg. "Get off foul leviathan of evil intent! You shall not suck my soul!" She cried out, finally slamming her front leg down hard enough for the sea creature plopped back into the water and she tore back to the beach, panting a little as she caught her breath from such a fuss.

"To think, if that had been the dark lord I may not have escaped with thine life!" Miki frowned, tossing her hair back so it fell back into place. She could do mud, she could do injuries...but like hell did she do creepy critters.

As if on que in her mind the wind let out a powerful gust which sent her hair sailing in the breeze; her face stern as she spoke out to it in a sing song voice. It was in tune and sounded nice, but nothing compared to the blessed vocals of her sister.

"Oh wind, I will stand and face you!
I will go to the sea of anguish,
though bonds cut my chest;
and the crushing waves are endless."

Yet...this made her think for a moment. If she was in such danger, would it not make her some kind of maiden in distress? Was she not to acquire some sort of protector or knight to assist her in her journey? "A knight....perhaps such a notion isn't so crazy now after all..." Since clearly, the elements were ganging up on her by sending a ferocious leviathan to stop her.
