Trotting along the dirt road in the woods, he was acting like a silly colt like he was when a child. He bucked when he jumped in the air but in a small height and neighed with happiness. It was springtime is why he acted like this and its was close to being halfway to summer. When he came to a meadow it had colorful butterflies but they swarmed in one area. When he came to it, he knew something was making the butterflies lead him to something or someone. Being careful, he pointed his head low and straight to where they were gathered at and slowly walked to a pond where a figure rested. He walked up to it a bit more and saw it was a mare and sighed in relief. He thought it was something dangerous. "Maybe this mare is friendly...." He said gently and walked right in front of it. "Hello!! Are you awake?" He said loudly and watched.

 Bangil had indeed been resting by the pond, it was a warm day and resting by the pool of cool and refreshing water had seemed liked a good idea. She hadn't meant to fall asleep...but a few moments of laying in the warm sun had quickly lulled her to sleep. She probably would have slept the entire afternoon away if it wasn't for the male voice that suddenly woke her - startled she scrambled to her feet before realizing that the stallion before her didn't look all that threatening.
"I'm awake now" She told him after a few moments of observation. No he didn't look like he was the dangerous unfriendly sort. "My names Bangil" She introduced herself because well it didn't seem friendly to not introduce herself before asking a question. "What brings you out this way?"

Prancing around her, he laughed softly. "Names Slainte. I was heading up to the mountains to search for a lost treasure sacred to our lands. Its an adventure! Hey, ya wanna come? I would like a partner who could help me on this journey." He said. A partner would be great and with the stories of a great place where the first soquilis were found, he would like someone to share half of it. "I heard that deep in the mountains by going through guardians with riddles and dangerous tunnels on the other side would be a land that was lost many many years ago, which was the time the first Soquili were known. If anyone finds it and lives to bring some of it back, names will be in stories of great soquili history! We should team up to find it!!" He said with excitement.

Well..that was certainly quite the reason to head this way and she had to admit she had never heard such a story before herself and she secretly had her doubts about how true it was but...the stallion seemed so excited by the prospect that she couldn't quite bring herself to tell him that. Besides..if there was some truth to it well..it would certainly be a story to bring home now wouldn't it?
"I suppose maybe I could go.." She allowed after a few moments of thought and really what was keeping her around here anyways? Her children had grown and left home and there was no significant other to keep her occupied, even her best friend was currently elsewhere in the lands. "Do you know the area to look in? Or have any clues about it? What are these guardians? Other Soquili?"

Turning her head to the mountains, he shows her where the journey begins. Smiling, he trots ahead of her in the same direction. "Coming or what?" He said. He headed a little farther then waited.

With one last glance behind her - as though making sure that there was no reason for her not to go, Bangil nodded and followed after the pale rainbow adorned stallion. She had no idea exactly what she was getting into but that had never really stopped her before now had it?
Perhaps the stallion would lead them on a true adventure, perhaps she would discover something never seen before - wouldn't that be a story to bring back to the grandchildren someday - and with Zangar's habits she was positive that there would be grandchildren someday. "I'm coming" She assured him, picking up a trot to catch up with him.

Laughing, he started trotting to the mountain with a cocky attitude. "Gotta be faster than that because i'm going to race you there!" He said as he went into a canter and was preparing to gallop.

AS the stallion took off with the challenge of a race Bangil snorted - it had been a long time since anyone had challenged her to a race and well, maybe some of her friends would tell her she was a bit old for that sort of thing but they could go sit in the mud. One was never to old for racing and having fun and without any further thought on the manner she dug her hooves in and lunged forward, pinning her ears flat as she strained to catch up with SLainte who had a bit of a jump on her.
Bangil was no slouch however and she'd always been a fairly athletic Soquili and it wasn't all that long before she was closing the gap between the two of them and soon enough pulling up beside him.

Knowing he was just cantering, he laughed. "See ya at the entrance!" He said and with a jump, he began running at high speed which was amazingly fast for a unicorn, especially him. He was almost there and decided to canter again just to stay energized.

AS the stallion suddenly switched into a higher gear and left her in the dust Bangil laughed slightly and followed him. Clearly he was faster - there was little point in trying to outrun him. At least she managed to put in a respectable show and caught up once he'd slowed down again. It seemed like they were nearing the entrance to a pathway up into the mountains. "Do you know which way we're supposed to go once we're in there?" She questioned him as they drew closer. Bangil had no desire to be lost in some mountain maze so she rather hoped he did.
Of course if they did get lost she supposed they could always just retrace their steps to get back out. In the very least it was nice to be going on some sort of adventure again - it had been a while since she had done something like this.

The stallion reached the entrance with her and saw only one way. Mostly the light from his horn comes from healing but its light has other properties. Using it to light the way, there was only one way: straight. Surprised a bit, he just kept walking.

"Well I suppose this makes the choice easy now doesn't it" Bangil stated with a slight laugh as she reached the entrance and followed the more colorful stallion inside. She was rather grateful for the stallions horn and kept close in order to see where she was going - without such a light Bangil was not certain she would wish to be in this pathway as the shadows were long and the walls close.
All in all it did not seem like a particularly safe place to be without some sort of light with you. The path wound on ahead of them, twisting and gloomy so that it was practically impossible to see how long it was, however after a little while she was almost certain that she could spot a bit of lightening up ahead "I think we might be getting close to the other side" She whispered - though she wasn't entirely sure why she did so, there wasn't anyone else around - perhaps just because of the creepy atmosphere the path gave off.
