Read bellow for an in-depth guide to Deals; the form of dueling used in the Financial District between Entrepreneurs.

[[FIGHTING]]

Battles are fought in a turn by turn system, and the goal is for the players to try to knock down the opponents HP to 0. The fastest Asset strikes first, unless the user steps down from their first roll for whatever strategy they might be planning. This is only allowed on the very first round of a Deal only. Passing turns later on in the Deal is forbidden.

[[ASSETS]]

Assets begin with the same base stats plus whatever they have in addition depending on their fighting type, called a model.

Each rank gained earns assets 35 HP on top of their own unless they are of the Defensive Model which means they earn 50 instead.

Offense oriented assets receive a boost in attack, adding a + of preset damage per rank:

rank c +2
rank b +4
rank a +8
rank s +10

Utility model Assets get their utility moves which can be boosting or evasive or anything, like for example attacking twice in a row, or nullifying any damage from the next attack or healing or anything...

Assets utilize attacks called flations in order to battle; since these were originally meant to cost money to the Entrés they are limited in regards to their rank.

Microflation uses 1d10, Mezzoflation uses 2d10 and Macroflation 3d10 to determine damage

rank c gets infinite micro, 2 mezzo per battle
rank b gets infinite micro, 4 mezzo, 1 macro per battle
rank a gets infinite micro, 8 mezzo, 3 macro per battle
rank s gets virtually infinite everything

Utilities activate once per round and only one may be active at any given time.

[[INVESTMENT]]

Investment works in accordance to what other Entrepreneurs are willing to invest on a certain stock of a specific Asset. Investments can be done solo or in bulk (up to half (3) of an Asset's stocks).

There are investment ranks for single stocks ranked at one, two and three stars:

one star investment heals a 20% of HP and gives an extra mezzoflation
two star investment heals 30% of HP and gives an extra mezzoflation
three star investment heals 50% of HP and gives an extra macroflation (or mezzoflation if the Asset is of rank c)

investments cost the investors their stars tokens, obviously which they may lose or double depending on whether the Asset they invested on wins or loses.

On any given round, one may call for possible investors, by declaring a sale that investors may choose to ignore or respond to. Investors might decide to invest by themselves also, without Entrepreneurs offering. In that case a buying offer is made, which the Entres can then decline if they choose to save their stocks for later. After a stock has been invested on, it remains taken for a total of 30 days.

[[STAR TOKENS]]

All players receive three every week, if they invest on that week, they will receive another three on the following week regardless of whether they have loss or gain. If they don't invest they will only receive one.

For every twenty collected, the player can turn them in for 15k of Midas Money.
For every fourty collected, they can be exchanged for an RP credit, that is regarded as the equivalent of a completed RP.

[[MIDAS MONEY]]

What you basically win from dealing with others; there are secondary ways of earning money, such as roleplaying, but we'd advise for you to work on all fronts to amass greater wealth faster.

by weekly deals

victory against same rank opponent 10k
victory against higher rank opponent 20k
victory against lower rank opponent 5k

by betting: settled between players, betting on ongoing battles (with a maximum bet of 5k)
by investing: star currency trading 15k per 20 stars
by RP: 15k per completed RP
by Solo RP: 5k per completed RP

[[LOSS AND BANKRUPTCY]]

By losing a weekly deal, the loser has 5k subtracted from their account -unless the winner is at least two ranks above them, in which case no penalty is applied.

Falling bellow one's rank minimum does not take away an Entrés' rank.

Bankruptcy removes one's rights as Entrés, your ability to go to the Financial District, the ability to converse with one's Asset via means of their Midas Card as well as the ability to recognize Midas Money from normal money. Bankruptcy must be RPed out at least in one solo or normal RP as well as an additional meet-up with Midas staff to re-issue their abilities by lifting the penalty.

If one fails to participate in a battle or activity for more than a month they lose 10k, then 20k the following month and 30k the third; meaning it would take a 'newbie' three entirelly inactive months to reach bankruptcy if they did absolutely nothing.

At six months of complete inactivity, a warning for rehoming is issued that is executed at eight months. Rehoming is only figurative as the actual characters/assets won't be rehomed, instead an Entrés based on the asset of the character being subjected to rehoming will be made and given out through any means chosen at the time.
