The Optimus Chambers is one of the oldest buildings in Oculus. It's been part of Oculus since it's creation, though it's been rebuilt many times, most recently after it's destruction in the Hell Crisis a year ago. The Optimus Chambers were once used by the Optimus, a team of Heroes honored by the Ordinatus and given premier status by the government. The Optimus were once the signature team of Oculus, but when Noblesse was placed incharge of the military wing of the Ordinatus, she disbanded the Optimus and in place put a new military-sponsored team: the Xverian Legion.
The Xverian Legion is a Hero team tasked by the Ordinatus to protect Oculus and further any goals by the military. Most Heroes in the Xverian Legion are given a luxurious life-style, they're hailed as heroes as they should be. It is mandatory for all members of the Xverian Legion to live in the Optimus Chambers, as a sort of barracks. The Optimus Chambers are however nothing like a military instillation, with comfty lofty rooms, servants to clean and cook, and guards to protect the building, it's more like a hotel building than a military base.
