A knock on your door. The sound of feet shuffling impatiently. As you open it, a mail carrier stands outside your door tapping his foot on the ground. He shoves a letter into your hands. "A letter from the city of Pitchfield from Zeitlos. He said it's urgent" With those few words, the carrier turned from you heading to deliver the rest of his letters. You looked curiously at the letter. Your old teacher was sending you a letter? What could be so urgent? As you open the envelope, a piece of parchment with a map tumble out with a large red seal, Zietlos's seal. Your eyes scrawl over the letter. It reads: My old student,
Much time has passed since our last class together where you graduated as my pupil into an intelligent adult. I'm sure you have grown much and have your own priorities and needs. However, I fear I am running out of options and am now making a last desperate plea to all of my pupils. I require your assistance immediately in the city of Pitchfield. Enclosed with this letter is a map with a quick scrawl of directions from your location. I pray that you will do me the honor and the favor of coming to my aid. I promise the rewards will be worth it to you, your friends and family, and more importantly to the world.
Yours Sincerely,
Professor ZeitlosYou can't help but feel the urgency in his voice as you clench the letter in your hand. What could the old professor possibly need that could affect something as big as the world. You look at the sun, estimating the time. Figuring you could be there before nightfall, you quickly pack your things, say your farewells, and grab your trusty steed, headed for Pitchfield.
Upon your arrival, you are asked for your city permits. When you present them, you are given an escort to an inn where a room has been reserved and paid for. The hostess shows you to your room where you find a satchel on your bed. Inside the satchel you find a ring, a coin purse, a dagger, and another letter from Zietlos stating he will come and see you when the rest of your compatriots show up.Still confused and bewildered by how vague Zietlos has chosen to be, you make yourself at home and explore the Wild Wind Resthouse

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress Her silver hood draped over her head, Fae sat in the tavern at a table drinking a glass of Elvish spirits. Her bow and quiver sat next to her propped against the table leg just within her reach. Her fingernails clicked against the glass as her eyes wandered the crowd. Behind her golden bangs, fierce eyes critically examined key people in the crowd. The area's drunkard with his head in the spitoon while the brute in the bar laughed throwing copper at the drunk man. A bar-maid that walked by wreaking of alcohol, her hair disheveled, but her expression glazed. No doubt she was probably drunk as well. A group of large men gathered at a table, royal blue capes draping over their shoulder and the symbol of the god Zeus glimmering gold on their breast plate. A half-orc shoved his way through the crowd holding up a tankard of ale cheering and laughing with a couple of his other Orcish friends. The scene was a mad house. Fae shook her head as she returned her eyes to her drink. The light scent of the alcohol tickled her nose. Her thoughts began to wander. Thoughts of home, thoughts of her duties, the letter, what it all could boil down to. These things itched at the back of her mind. Her concentration didn't last long as a dashing young gentleman came over to the table sitting across from her. "Well well what have we here. A maiden of Artemis ya?" Fae looked up at the man. He was indeed handsome. Blonde hair curled down his head while a winged helm sat tucked under his arm. His chain-mail armor was well done, showing a sign of stature and wealth. Brilliant hazlenut eyes stared back at Fae as she looked into them. "Don't see to many ladies like that hanging around these parts. Most of them are locked up in the convent or in the upper class areas as scholars." The man said to her. "Well some of us are a little more brave." Fae responded smiling rather smugly. The man laughed a little. "Well what have the women that follow Artemis to be scared of? Afraid of a little adventure? A little danger?" "That would not be befitting of my Mistress." Fae snapped sharply. Dare the man insult Maiden Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt? "Of course not." The man reached over gently grazing Fae's hair. The fire ignited quickly in her eyes as she looked cross, the flame resembling a warning to the man. "But that isn't the adventure I was talking about. In the end, you are still a mortal woman. You are prone to your instincts to want to make a family and find a good man who will take care of you. Women are naturally weak. Its just part of nature. No woman can be as strong as the Goddess." With that Fae quickly grabbed his hand and leaped over the table grappling and pinning him to the bench in a rather uncomfortable position on his side. "The only instinct I am prone to is the instinct to hunt. The weak women you speak of are nothing like Lady Artemis and if they call themselves so they are liars. I may never become a goddess like Lady Artemis. But I most certainly would never deviate from her way. Not for scum of the earth like you." She pulled his arm forcing him to his feet and shoving him from the table. Some people in the bar had turned to face the commotion. But quickly turned back to their regular tasks and delights, seeing only a scuffle between a man wanting too much and a lady's refusal. Fae sat back down at her table crossing her arms as her eyes returned to her drink. Straight and true, her arrow flys

Nike chuckled softly from his table near Fae, his mug of tea sloshing around in its cup as he tried to control his laughter. "I've heard maidens of Artemis were a tad prudish in my travels, but so prone to violence?" He rested his head on the back of a gloved hand. "For shame. Well, I can't say it's particularly surprising. The other members of my gender are so thickheaded sometimes, only a few things really send the message home." The red hound resting at Nike's side chuckled softly. "You seem to imply you're not prone to thickheaded-ness your self Nike." Nike wrinkled his nose at his companion. "Key, I am far from those boorish fools."

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress (( I havent RP'd in a while....My posts will get shorter as time passes probably....maybe razz Besides this is just to set things up and make people more familiar with my character ))
Fae's eyes quickly shot to the man across the way chuckling at her. "It's important for a lady to defend herself and to show no weaknesses. I do not tolerate scum or stupidity particularly in the male breed. Thickheaded-ness is not an excuse. And most everyone learns best through pain." She smirked and lifted her glass finishing it off and setting the glass back down. "And who are you to laugh at me?" Her eyes narrowed glaringly. Straight and true, her arrow flys

Nike took a sip of tea. "I think the true question here is who are you to question me laughing at you?" He set down his mug and wiggled his eyebrows at her. "Elf by the look of you." He flicked the ends of his ears. "Obviously female because of the you know." He cupped his chest and grinned at her. "And serious to a fault. Sticks in the mud like you are completely boring." He leaned back with a groan.
((Thank god.))

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress (( Just because you asked...its now required to Brick Text ...get to it. chop chop XD))
"Feh..." Fae scoffed. "Trust me. I could be much worse. Lady Artemis has a wide range of women as her followers. Some more violent than myself who will do anything to keep the chastity belt locked tighter than the gold safe of King Tryndamere. Others are so drab the only things they do are eat, sleep, pray, and offer a squirrel they 'hunted' in their backyards." Her voice screamed with detest as if these women were pathetic and disappointing. "Playing it safe is no way to be. Taking risks is far more exciting and more rewarding. You can safely catch a helpless creature. Or you can take the bull by the horns and turn it on its back." She paused a second and looked down at her chest, quickly pulling her cloak up over them. "Since you're going to be the type to answer my question with another question, most annoying....." she sighed. "My name is Faeula Tiriel. However that is my family name. You may call me Fae for the time we are acquainted." She waved her hand in a presenting way her palm facing up. "And you are...?" Straight and true, her arrow flys

Nike looked disappointed at Fae covering herself. "Oh come on now." He grumbled then sat up and smiled. "Nike of the once noble house of Morgenstein, the great blade mage, the wandering mercenary, the thief of hears, ect, ect." He jerked his head at Key. "This is Key, my friend." Key lazily inclined his head. "Mighty huntress."
((Hah, good luck with that one.))

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress "Pleasure to meet you Blade Mage. Not too many of your kind are seen these days. Many people would sooner study broad magic and fabricate their weapons from celestial powers rather than skill such as yours. Though, while your skills certainly show promise if what you say is true, does it not bother you that your dog is more respectful than you are." She gently reached her hand out to Key. "I supposed I should expect as much from a creature as lovely as he though. Animals don't gawk at women's breasts as if they're some kind of meat prize." She huffed. Nike grinned. "Hey, hey, I'm gawking at your breasts like they're breasts. Meat prizes are on a much lower level than breasts." He laughed. "You give them too low a value for something so....amazing." Nike grinned and pushed up his glasses with a finger. "And thank you for the complement to my skills, celestial weapons are quite tempting, but why go through all that enchanting mess when I can replicate the weapon and its effects with cold hard analysis?" He tapped the side of his head. "I wasn't blessed with a large brain for no reason you know?" Key sniffed her hand and then licked it. "Sad a woman such as you has given her self to the cause of the hunt, someone like you would do well in whipping my charge up to shape." Nike wrinkled his nose at Key.

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress "Big brain or big head?" She laughed at Nike as she felt Key lick her hand. She looked down at him. "Even if I wasn't devoted to the hunt, I'm afraid I'm here on more urgent matters. I haven't even been able to take time to see the city" She scritched him behind the ears gently. "An old acquaintance has called for my services." She nodded.
Suddenly a green glint of light crawled you from behind the maiden's ear. Fae's ear twitched at the sensation as she averted her eyes to the light. "Well good afternoon Presea." She said as the tiny green light tussled its way down the elf's shoulder to her chest resting itself in her cleavage. "This is Presea. She is my traveling companion." Nike stared at Presea and Fae's cleavage. "Why hello there lucky one." He raised his eyes to Fae's "What odds, I'm here to visit an old mentor. Wouldn't happen to be Zeitlos would it?" His eyes returned to her cleavage.
Key looked like he would frown if he could. "A gathering of some sorts the letter did have a very dire and urgent tone to it." He looked at Fae. "Don't remember seeing you at my charge's projection lessons. Then again, your race tends to be long lived." He rested his head again.

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress (( you can still just call me Rae you know... and yes I was waiting for chris to come home. and im usually up late as of lately. But i could say the same of you))
Presea wiggled comfortably then fluttered her wings and flew up to Nike. Up close, her dainty figure clothed in a very small white dress was very apparent. Her wings fluttered as quick as a hummingbirds. Nike's glasses grabbed her curiosity as she poked at them.
Fae's eyebrow raised at Nike. "Actually thats exactly who I'm here to see. To think even back then, he traveled all over the kingdom on foot training young ones. That was almost 42 winters ago. I was but a teen then " She pondered the thought. She looked at Key. "I try not to dabble in the affairs of the hell-hounds. In the end they are still under the jurisdiction of Lady Artemis' uncle. It is dangerous ground to tread." Straight and true, her arrow flys

Key chuckled. "Wise choice young one."

Fae Tiriel ~ The Huntress Presea stood on the table gazing at the glasses. The light bounced off the table just right to give herself a light reflection. She gazed at herself giggling at her bedhead and began dancing back and forth examining herself.
"I suppose so depending on what he needs. But by the sound of his letter....It could be very serious." She paused for quite a while. "You look wierd without your glasses..." she said bluntly
((Dont be too surprised...how can i rebuild a guild without the guilds most loyal members? Excluding you because of the past would be unfair.
I wanted to wait for more people to join before introducing Zeitlos....but i dont know if more people are gonna join)) Straight and true, her arrow flys

Nike frowned. "Why thanks." He deadpanned. "I'm quite aware." he leaned back, creating a small blade in his hand at a mumbled phrase, tossing it up and catching it. "I wouldn't have come back to this town if it didn't seem serious, or if it wasn't him for that matter." He smiled glad I did now though. He winked at Fae and slid his glasses back on, putting down the reflective blade for Presea.
((Hah. Thanks for the consideration....give Nye time. Luna's not coming, Sesi, nor Cae.))
