The Crop Rooms

General Setting:

Closer to the surface seem to be a series of rooms that purposely allow the sunlight to filter in. There are several Clan members busy at work, tending to the various crops, some of them misshapen, some of them wriggling and moving. A few of them are labeled: highly dangerous, or highly poisonous.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: You lean in to take a closer look at the crops, when one of them spits out a strange fume at you. You feel odd, sleepy, suddenly tired. This status effect will last for an IC hour.
21 - 40: You accidentally pass by a few crops - one of them attacks and bites you. Suddenly you find yourself extremely dizzy and disoriented, everything seems to be swirling around with the same colours. This status effect will last for an IC hour.
41 - 60: Oh look, some interesting flowers! You lean in close to take a smell, it doesn't seem too bad. Suddenly, you notice that everyone is staring at you. What? As you look at your hands, you suddenly realize you are glowing bright pink This status effect will last for an IC hour. (see below for horsemen point prompt)
- Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!
61-80: POW. A plant knocks you right out! When you wake up, you don't feel oddly different, except that you are now very tiny, at the most a few inches tall. Those plants sure look dangerously hungry around you... This status effect will last for an IC hour.
81-100: You turn around just in time to hear a Clans member tell you to watch out. CRASH. You break a bottle lying nearby, that doesn't seem too bad... until you feel a strange sensation. Why... you feel... so.. happy, as if everything would be perfectly okay with the world. Perfectly. Okay. This status effect will last for an IC hour.

Reiko had noticed the crop rooms on her way to the surface for class, and she had decided that they merited further exploration. They seemed extremely interesting, and she wondered exactly what the Horsemen of Famine grew. It had to be some sort of fascinating, exotic plants, didn't it?

She was waiting for Mitzi, preferring to explore with a companion than by herself. It seemed the better course of action.

"So this is what you wanted to check out?" the Reaper ghoul asked, passing Reiko and heading straight into the room. She'd just started down the first row, though, when she accidentally strayed too close to the plants. One of them reached out and bit her! She tried to pull back, but it wasn't in time. Even as she checked her hand and saw a lack of actual marks, the room started to swirl around her.

"Uh... I don't feel so well," she murmured, glancing back to the ghost. "Are you sure this was a good idea? The whole room's moving," she called back.

Reiko followed after Mitzi. "I thought it seemed interesting," the onryo confessed. She was wandering from plant to plant, examining them. She took a particularly deep sniff, and turned to see that most everyone was staring at her. She looked down and oh Jack she was glowing bright pink. What were these strange, bizarre plants?

Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw something glint, and she reached out, picking it up. she was surprised to find that it was not a trick of the light, and was in fact a strange stone. How interesting. She tucked it into her sleeve (her third pocket besides her obi.)

Mitzi's cry was clearly more important, though, and the ghost ghoul quickly made her way back to the Reaper, carefully steadying her. "Mitzi, are you alright?" She asked, concern obvious on her face.

As the room started spinning around her, the Reaper couldn't get her balance well enough to get away from the plants that had bitten her. She tried, but instead stumbled toward them, and another bit her, and then another.

The successive doses of the toxin just made the effect worse. She was going to need help to get out of here.

One of the plants that had bitten Mitzi got Reiko as well, and she began to experience the same feelings of horrible dizziness that Mitzi was displaying. "I-I think...we need to leave, Mitzi..." She said. "Ohhh, this was a terrible ideaaa..."

The Reaper saw something bright, and somehow managed to make her way towards it. Somehow she made out Reiko's voice coming from the same direction, but only when she actually was close enough to touch the other ghoul did she realize that the pink thing she was moving towards was in fact the other ghoul. "I... I really don't feel well," she muttered, the revolving room starting to give her some serious motion sickness. She looked around, with no idea where the door was; hopefully Reiko's bites were less severe, and she'd be able to get the two of them out.

"I-I don't either," Reiko said. She carefully put an arm around Mitzi's waist, hoping to guide her out, since she was feeling a bit less dizzy and was moving better than the Reaper as far as she could tell. She made her way out, hoping the effects of these bizarre plants would wear off fairly quickly.
