Bonus Task You need to demonstrate the basics of using a mount. Please do these in a separate thread. Hey! Listen! - Roll 1d4. Even, your mount listens to you. Odd, it does not. Forward: - Roll 1d4. Even, it moves forward. Odd, it does nothing. STOP: - Roll 1d4. Even, it keeps moving. Odd, it stops. Turning: - In order to demonstrate your ability to turn, your mount will need to turn one full circle. Pick even or odd. Try to roll what you called twice in a row. - Upon accomplishing that, call even or odd again. Then roll what you called twice in a row again. Upon completing this bonus RP, you may now RP your mount anywhere within the War clan. Except in RPs that takes place in trees, because that is rather silly and the mounts are too big to fit in the elevators. This isn't Thunder Bluff. - - - - - - - - - - Mea had decided it was time to bond with her new found friend. She had yet to actually ride him but had spent some time with him in the stables. Making a small clicking sound towards him she lured him out towards an area set up for mount training and grinned when she faced him.
"Today I ride you!" She exclaimed, petting one of his legs with a kind hand. Whether he objected or not remained to be seen, but she was determined.

It seemed to not be paying attention to her and Mea frowned as it chased after a rather large bug of sorts. "No, it's not lunch time!" She called, chasing after him while he managed to lose the bug and stomped around angrily near some bushes. "Lunch later, HEY!" She shouted. Her shouts would fall on deaf ears while it wandered around after some other creature and the rabbit frowned.
"I'll feed you later, come on!" She said while chasing after it. Apparently it was as stubborn as she was.

After chasing it around in a circle the tarantula stopped and twitched, feeling over the ground with it's long limbs. Panting, Mea stood behind him. "Is this because you don't have a name yet?" She questioned towards him. "How about if I gave you one, would you listen then? Or be interested in riding at all?" A shudder moved through him and he seemed to seize, gazing back to the rabbit with it's large, blackened eyes.
"Fine." She said with a twitch of her ears. "How about... Kiwi!" She said with a grin. "You remind me of one, though I don't really like them that much so I won't be wanting to eat you." She nodded and headed over to him, petting his back with her hands. "Alright Kiwi, I'm going to get on you now."
Swinging up onto him she immediately found a comfortable position on his back among the small, fuzzy hairs. With a grin she pet the back of his head. "Alright, it's time to do this! If you understand, move a little." And with that the spider seemed to bounce slightly as if to mimic her own motions. With a happy grin she steadied herself.
"Let's move on to something harder."

With another soothing stroke over him she gave an authoritative point towards the distance. "Come on Kiwi, let's go straight! Just right there!" She said with a grin. Underneath her she could only hear the annoyed clicking of his fangs and he seemed to shrink under the command. "Kiwi?" she questioned, petting over him again. "Fine, ummm..."
She went silent as she began to think.

"Okay, I got it!" She exclaimed. "CHAAAAARGE!" She yelled, bouncing slightly on his back with a bright and shining grin. Under her guidance the tarantula pulled forward quickly. Energized by her call he scuttled along the ground with ferocity yet with a silence Mea did not know. Satisfied she looked around. "Next step is..."

The words were taken from her mouth as the pair headed towards a group of large bushed before her. "Woah!" She shouted, tapping him a few times in an attempt to stop him. "Come on Kiwi, woah!" It was as if the two had like-minds and he slowed to a stop before hitting into the bushes. Clicking up towards her she gave him a well deserved pet on his head and laid upon him, giving him a small bit of a squeeze to indicate a hug.
"We're almost done Kiwi, just one more thing, though this might be the hardest." She said with a nod. "Just stick with me and we'll get through it together, I promise."

Sitting up straight she looked around at her surroundings and cleared her throat. "Let's do some turning, alright?" Mea said, petting one of the nearby legs. "Go on, turn!" She said with more enthusiasm, but would he pick up on it?

He seemed to turn slightly when he heard the command, but only slightly so. She urged him onward with a hand, awaiting to see if he would pick up on her signal.

But he had stopped and merely stood there, heaving a bit under the sunlight. With a frown she rubbed her hand across him again. "Now now, don't get discouraged. We can do this I promise." She made the clicking sound back at him and leaned back. "And again!"

Perhaps soothed by her words or maybe just noticing some far of prey he began to turn again. "That's it, that's it." Mea said with a grin. She was uncertain if it would work this time but was hoping. She did have a lot of time on her hands but like Kiwi felt the lust of food washing over her. How alike they were.

They had successfully gone in a half circle and were close to the home stretch. With a bounce she tried to give him more of her energy but stopped once she realized it could be throwing him off. "Keep on it, you have this." She said with a warm smile.

Kiwi didn't even move and they sat in the same spot with Mea on his back. "Kiwi, you alright? Come on, I trust you." She said softly.

The rabbit felt the spider beneath her move slightly, as if to hear her words again. She sat in patience and spoke not a word lest she accidentally spook him. In the back of her mind she was hopeful, but held her breath.

They hadn't really moved and it was more of a shudder under some other force elsewhere. Mea frowned but gave a small sigh, scratching at his back kindly. "I know you can."

There was another clicking sound from under her as his fangs began to chatter slightly. Mea tilted her head. "Is that good or bad?" She questioned, but was given no answer. Scrunching her face she pouted and remained still. They were so close.
