It was safe to say that Eternal Sailor Leto took her word to the people she cared about seriously would be an understatement. More specifically, her word to her Court was sacred; they were her family and she would do anything for them.
That was exactly why she was out on patrol tonight. She wasn't hunting White Moon Senshi. She wasn't searching out and draining innocent civilians for the greater good of the Court. Tonight Leto was on a mission to live up to the promise that she made to Lydia months before. Tonight, it wasn't even about Camelot. Tonight, any Knight would do.
She stuck to the shadows that night, slipping in and out of alleyways and mirrors as she went on her hunt. Every once in a while she would feel the familiar tingle of a White Moon Senshi at the nape of her neck, and she would have to force herself to shake it off and continue on her way. It wasn't until she felt the tingle of a Page being nearby that she stopped herself mid-mirror walk and slipped out into the darkness completely. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and took a deep breath, slowly exhaling as she allowed herself to pinpoint the direction that the Page was in.
Once she was sure she had figured it out, she was on the prowl. She familiar sense growing stronger and stronger as she got closer and closer to the Page that she was seeking out. And that was when she spotted her in all of her bright colored glory. This was her moment. This would be the night of the beginning of her vengeance and that poor unsuspecting Page would be her first target.
Well, entirely unsuspecting would be a bit of an over-exaggeration, because any powered up person would be able to sense an Eternal scout from a mile away. So with that in mind, Leto did what she did best- she called her basic attack and went nearly invisible.
The Page sensed her though, and Leto could tell the moment that the girl spun on her heel to the general direction that Leto was coming from. Leto slipped up behind the Page and leaned in close, breathing hot hair down the back of her neck and muttering, "Goodnight, little Page..." before wrapping an arm tightly around her neck.
Unfortunately for Leto, the Page wasn't as much of a newbie as she had hoped and sooner rather than later, an elbow came flying into her gut and knocking the wind out of her. The arm around her neck loosened and she stumbled a few feet back. Within seconds she was visible to the other girl, a wide, s**t-eating grin spread across her lips. She held both hands out, three mirror-shards facing the Page (two in her right hand, one in her left) and all three of her mirrorwraiths went flying at the girl.
Without another word, Leto was sending herself flying at the agent of Order while her wraiths went to work. In a blur there were nothing but fists and feet flying between the two. They were in a tangle of blood and bruises before Leto finally called her Eternal attack. Loud and proud she yelled, "Leto Hidden Ambush!"
The ground around them began to split and shake, causing the Page to lose her footing. Thankfully for Leto, she had grown accustomed to her Eternal attack and found her footing easily. Her wraiths easily slipped back into her shards and she safely tucked them away in the pouch hidden in her bracers. When she looked back at the Page, she saw the look of panic in the her eyes as she stumbled and fell to the ground, and Leto took that as her opportunity. Using the cracked and raised ground along with the tall grasses and her camoflage to her advantage, she lunged at the Page and pinned her to the ground. She grabbed a large chunk of concrete that had split from the ground and slammed it easily into the side of the other girl's head.
She grinned from ear to ear when she dropped the concrete and saw the blood trickle from the Page's head and slowly leaned down over her. "You, my dear, are a message... We're coming for you. All of you. I won't rest until every single Knight is wiped out of Destiny City. I made a promise and it's one I intend to keep."
She slowly shimmered back into existence as she wrapped both hands around the Page's neck. Leto had no offensive attack, so her physical strength or objects around her were her best friends in this war. Her deep red eyes narrowed to slits as she applied pressure, squeezing the life out of the girl beneath her. It was only a few minutes before the Page stopped struggling underneath her, and Leto hadn't even realized that her attack had ended. It was only when the girl's power signature disappeared that Leto snapped out of the frenzy-like state she was in. She slowly loosened her hands, her eyes widening as she stared down at the girl that was limp beneath her.
Leto swallowed hard as she stared down at her in silence. She blinked a few times before pushing herself to her feet. She chewed her bottom lip for a moment while pondering her options. She closed her eyes, took a deep, shuddery breath, opened her eyes and turned on her heel to walk away from the death and destruction that she left behind.
She quickly climbed the ladder of a fire escape and lept from one rooftop to another to get as far away from the scene of her crime as she possibly could have before breaking down. Tears sprung to her eyes and she wiped them away furiously as she took deep breaths, trying to control the on-coming break down. She refused to be vulnerable out here where there were enemies every way she looked. She made her way to the nearest mirror, slipped easily through it's cool surface, and collapsed to her knees in mirrorspace.
