Physical Description: Lean but petite, dark brown hair, eyes that shift from brown to black to grey, dark olive skin with unique freckle patterns under the corners of her eyes.

Bio: Nixie was a care-free selkie in the seas of Northern Europe. That was until she met Sovann Prince-Hughes, a Scandinavian aquaculture entrepreneur on vacation in Scotland. He was charming enough--until he'd hidden away her seal-skin. Then, according to the tenants of her people, she was bound to him, and he turned out to be not-so charming. For the last 10 years, he paraded around his exotic little "water baby" like a doll. He died a month ago in a plane accident, and Nixie didn't shed a tear. She refuses to be under the heel of another man. Now she has to find her seal-skin so she can finally go home. She needs someone she can trust to help her--hopefully someone with a good nose and maybe someone to whom she can leave her late husband's fortune.
Other notes: Nixie retains one servant from her late husband's staff, Austin. He's a chauffeur, pilot, chef, go-fer, and personal aid. (Any pet will not be expected to compete with Austin. She's getting a pet to help her find her skin. Austin can't touch it or she will be beholden to him, but if her pet finds it, she'll still be free to return to the ocean if she wants.)
