A period of peace and reconstructio followed the Atra Wars, and on the very of the next century, Sol was beginning to look alot like how it does in modern times. Aurum and Touhou would take shape, along with Cap De Diablo, the most powerful city-state in Sol at the time. it was a relatively peaceful time, until the first Shadow War. In the Shadow war, in the year 101 HE, a swarm of dangerous monsterous creatures, the size of cities, would swarm the civilizations of Sol. Mankind used it's technology to it's best to destroy the beasts, but their efforts were for naught. That changed in the year 105 HE, after years of Sol struggling against these strange beasts, a man appeared, the First Hero. Known as the Demi-god, the first hero introduced magic into the world. Quickly upon it's introduction, several forms of magic were adapted by the nations of the world. Aurum created the traditional practice of elemental magic, Touhou developed it's nature magic and scribes and summons, Oculus mixed their newfound magic with technology, and Cap de Diablo... stayed behind.
The Demi-god would die in the war, but it would be won, Sol would band together and defeat the creatures of the Shadow War. Sol would know peace again, a long peace, until the 2nd Shadow War of 217 HE, another wave of shadow creatures would threaten Sol. These would regenerate, and would multiply, Sol was helpless against a new wave of upgraded Shadow creatures.
This new Shadow War called for a new Hero, or rather a new generation of Heroes. The First Generation of Heroes would spawn from this new-found threat. The Nine Heavenly Warriors, the 1st nine real heroes. Ein Punglione, the Sorceror Supreme, Syythe Xverian, the original Anti-hero, and a Mysterious gladiator to name a few. Together, these Nine Heroes would defeat the Shadow Creatures, and start the first Heroic Era.
