In our other RP days when Oz and I used to roam the net for RP forums, there were quite a lot of RPs that we've joined. Usually we only joined fantasy RPs since we just liked fantasy elements and magical powers and stuff like that. Well, this is just another one of the many fantasy RPs that we've participated in and I honestly don't remember much about it except Oz's horrible experience in that RP.
Well, Oz has always been good at RPing women haters. He had one in this fantasy RP because he was attempting to fend off female characters since there were double the women compared to that of the number of men in the RP. Well, obviously it didn't work even if his character was excessively rude to the women and thought of them as annoying pests. His character's name was Vincent... something. I forgot his last name. Oz can come by and edit if he remembers.
There was one girl who had a character named Aria. I forget her last name. I just know it's Aria. Now she was a kindhearted girl that could understand animals and had hidden powers that she didn't know about and had yet to unveil. The following will probably just be antics that Aria did to get Vincent's attention. It was pretty obvious she was after his character from the start...
One day, she was being attacked by a monster, conveniently near Vincent who was just reading a book under the shade of a tree. She just ran by and was being attacked. Vincent, being the jerkface that he was, ignored her and continued to read. In the end, she threw herself at him so he was forced to save her. After all, the beast would swipe down at her and take Vincent with her too. So Vincent saved her because he didn't want to die.
And apparently from that, it caused her to think of Vincent as her prince and that she owed him for saving her life. emotion_awesome

The worst drama during the ordeal
After that, Oz suffered from having to deal with a stalker. There were many places in the world built for the fantasy RP, but Aria would ALWAYS run into Vincent. Sure, occasionally there would be other girls who would show up too, but an indicator that he was taken usually mean that there was a girl with him and flirting with him.
So the moment he got online and sent out Vincent, she would appear shortly after his post. I've often tried to save him from the misery and send Zelfine to him. Also, since there was a lack of males, Zelfine is actually a male character since I didn't want to add more to the girl population. Having Zelfine and Vincent hang out with each other attracted quite a few girls and it got kind of weird trying to pretend not to notice their blatant flirting. But I couldn't really RP with anyone else because the other male characters in the guild were busy being lovey dovey with their girlfriends while some others were just enjoying being surrounded by girls.
But whenever there were like two or three girls (and one time even four) hanging around with Vincent and Zelfine, Aria would always be the one clinging to Vincent because apparently she knows him the most just because he saved her from a monster and she is eternally grateful to him and they're supposed to be good friends with each other.
So the story below is probably one of the WORST things that Oz and I ever encountered in the RP world. Pretty much the moral of the story of this is: Don't ever assume that someone doesn't like to RP with someone because of their character's attitudes and actions. Just don't associate the character with the RPer at all. If anyone does that in front of me, I will flip out. >w>
One time, there was another girl who was interested in Vincent too. It was only a slight interest and she just did some honest flirting with him one time and her RPer seemed like an overall sweet girl who just was kind of new to RPing. Her character was a shy and blushy type of girl and was very reserved. She approached Vincent and Zelfine asking them if they could help her find the way to a potions shop. Since she didn't seem so bad, Oz and I toned down Zelfine's and Vincent's rudeness just for her since we didn't want to scare her away.
And so her character got attached to Zelfine and Vincent in a cute puppy kind of way. But her character seemed to click more with Vincent since it often drifted to awkward silences if Zelfine was stuck with her.
So Aria's RPer took this the wrong way and thought that Vincent and the other girl were getting close to each other. She just started to RP with us for 3 days and it was almost cute how her character followed Vincent and Zelfine around. The best part was that she didn't force any romantic intentions on us and was just derping along with them so Vincent and Zelfine did actually start to like her.
During that interval, Aria kept trying to butt in and often tried to overshadow the other girl and even to the point of ignoring her posts altogether.
The reason I'm even mentioning the girl--It was so short-lived that I never got to commit her character's name to memory--is that one day, Oz and I went online and found that Aria was having a birthday party and she specifically told the girl that she wasn't invited since Aria didn't know her at all and that she was a stranger.
Since Oz and I didn't want to cause drama, we sent Vincent to the birthday party to mope, mope, and mope some more. He didn't enjoy it at all. Zelfine on the other hand, didn't attend and I kept the girl company.
Well, she thought that Oz, me, and Aria's RPer were all good friends and she felt that maybe she was just being clingy. I told her that she wasn't being clingy at all and that Oz and I liked to RP with her. But later when Oz and I had to leave for a bit, when we returned, we found an ooc chat between Aria's RPer and the girl and Aria's RPer said that we were too nice to tell her that she was being clingy and that it was obvious we didn't want to RP with her characters because of how our characters treated her character. Apparently just because Vincent's character just happens to be super rude and apparently because Zelfine didn't talk to her very much, Oz and I were just trying to tell her through our characters not to RP with us.
Okay, Vincent is rude to everyone. I don't know where she got the conclusion that we disliked her from that. And Zelfine just doesn't talk to her very much because he just doesn't talk to people in general. In fact, I don't think he's held a decent conversation with Aria asides from "Hello Zelfie!" "Oh you." while the other girl managed to keep at least one conversation going with Zelfine.
So the girl left the RP. It was only about 2 or 3 days so Oz and I didn't really get to know her, but we seriously felt terrible and Oz and I confronted Aria's RPer about what she said and told her that we weren't annoyed with that girl and it was just part of our characters' personality. At that time, she seemed sincerely sorry about what she said and she apologized a lot so Oz and I thought that there was nothing we can do and if the girl did come back, we could clear it up with her.

The Funnies that make us laugh now
Vincent ended up thinking Aria was a weird girl that was annoying and frustrating. He was always rude to her, but I guess she took it as love somehow? And the thing was that Aria had such godmod powers, she could take care of herself. She had healing ability, light magic, the ability to turn evil animals good and making them love her and then disappearing from her life forever afterwards, and teleportation. Oh and the ability to make men fall in love with her but she NEVER uses it. Except on imaginary men that happen to be hanging out in a dungeon and want to attack her. Aria was probably stronger than Vincent with her godmod powers. But she kept setting up scenes were she was in trouble so Vincent could go save her. But usually his response would be like "Why don't you just use your powers?" and she'll make up some kind of reason why she can't. There were a lot of reasons that just were ridiculous. I do remember one time, a monster was so powerful that it completely drained her powers. Since Vincent is supposedly weaker than her, Oz had his character's powers drained too so he was useless.
Then Aria transferred her powers to Vincent so he could save her. Why would she do that? She could have kept her powers and destroyed the monster on her own and I thought they were all drained? Then she made an 'inspirational' speech about how Vincent had to believe in himself and he can do it. Vincent didn't believe, but he tried to fight the monster with his sword. Now Oz's post went along the lines of "Vincent stabbed at the monster but the sword scratched against it and the monster leered down at Vincent as if laughing." And he ended up turning to Aria and just said to run for it and escaped.
Now Aria's post was something along the lines of "Vincent stabbed the beast and instantly killed it in one attack. He was so cool! She ran after her savior, even more in love and grateful to him for saving her life again."
Poor Vincent had to spend a lot of time having to save someone who didn't need saving.
Well, Aria was also a creepy stalker girl. There were a lot of random towns and places and forests and dungeons in the RP, and she apparently ran into Vincent every time. I mean, sometimes I would send Zelfine off somewhere since I couldn't always have him with Vincent. But Aria had only one person she would always RP with and it was Vincent. Every waking moment Vincent had in that world was with Aria. Oz was seriously creeped out by this, but he couldn't really find any reason to turn her away and we didn't want to confront her about it.
Of course Vincent made a remark about how Aria had no friends since she was always around him and Aria went into this depressing emo tangent about how no one liked her because she was too kind and gentle and they were jealous of her for always being such a goody-two-shoes and that if she did try to get friends, they would use her as if she was some kind of tool because of her healing abilities. And then she went on to talk about how Vincent was her only friend and how much she trusted him.
Then Vincent asked about Zelfine and she was like: "Oh yeah! Him too."
There was also a time when she tried to establish a love triangle with Zelfine and Vincent with Aria. It didn't work since I caught wind of it when Aria started to kind of flirt with Zelfine and even take the time to spend time with Zelfine instead of Vincent. She also started show off in front of him and give him inspirational speeches for no apparent reason as if she expected him to be awed by her greatness only to have her chase after Vincent. And there would be intervals when she would be fawning over Vincent.
Well, to avoid that, I kept sending Zelfine across the entire world from Vincent. Then Aria suddenly got these teleportation powers so she could go talk to Vincent and Zelfine at the same time and she started relaying what was going on with the two of them as if she was some kind of psychic messenger girl. Oz flat out told her that was stupid and she dropped it fortunately.
She eventually lost interest in Zelfine though and that phase went away fairly peacefully.
Then I think one of the last of her notable crazy antics was her death scene. I would have celebrated, but darn lights from above! *shakes fist at the sky*
One day a monster attacked Vincent and Aria. No surprise. Zelfine was flirting with women at a bar at that time. Completely irrelevant detail, but if anyone was wondering where my character was, that's where he was.
So after being attacked by this incredibly strong monster, it lunged to kill Vincent and Oz stated that Vincent dodged that lunge which implied that he would be perfectly safe, but Aria still felt he was in danger and she "pushed" him out of the way and somehow got hit by the monster. With the last of her strength she killed the monster and as she lay there dying in her pool of blood, she said she loved Vincent and wished she could be with him forever and died.
And through all this, Vincent was like: "Wtf?"
In the end, a light came from the sky and shone down on Aria. She rose from the dead and shimmered and her outfit changed into a white dress or something and all the blood was gone. Apparently she chose she didn't want to die yet and wanted to be with the man she loved.
Vincent got weirded out and was like "Eeeeeewww! ZOMBIES!" Aria's RPer got mad at Oz for his response. She went on about how it was an emotional moment and he was ruining the mood and he couldn't read the atmosphere and she asked if Oz was even reading everything she wrote. Obviously she was just mad that he didn't react the way she wanted him to. But to avoid drama, Oz edited his post and just had Vincent still freaked out though.

Resolution
There was a girl in the RP that was pretty cool. She had a female character named Janine. Apparently there was a small group of people that were experienced with RPing but they only RPed amongst each other. But one day Janine, on a whim, left her usual group of people and met Zelfine on accident.
I think she was kind of picking a fight since Zelfine was chatting with two girls--these were two girls that's been following Zelfine around, but they weren't all creepy stalkery about it. Janine was passing by and she loudly remarked about how the men around the parts were all silly womanizing, muscle heads or something along those lines.
Zelfine found it amusing and invited her to join them because she was totally his type with the tall body and large breasts. And it kind of went from there and Janine started to hang out with Vincent and Zelfine every now and then. Aria did the same thing as she did with that last girl and completely blocked out Janine's existence.
In the end, I think Janine's RPer took it as a challenge and started to make moves on Vincent, but she was pretty smart about it and took it slowly and was reasonable through it all. So it was reasonable for them to eventually fall in love. Aria went through an emo spell and she sometimes would post in a corner alone, but near Vincent where he should be able to see her, but it kind of didn't happen.
So in the end, her activity started to lack and then she was gone. Oz breathed a sigh of relief. =D

At least it's people like these that we have some stories that can at least get us to laugh and joke about. 8DTrue that. Now I wish stuff like that would happen to me, but, I'm pretty sure I'd get into a real big mess sweatdrop
