Jerry was relieved to find his things waiting for him in the tent where he had left them, and wasn't alone as he dressed quickly. Roar around his neck- check. Undershirt, shirt, sweater, coat, pants, shoes, etc. check. Complete and utterly embarrassed expression, check. Just barely usable pair of glasses and disheveled hair, check.
He drew in a sharp breath before meekly poking his head out for Sasha waiting for him as he fidgeted with tying his scarf around his neck, "Um... um, ahahaha... All... all dressed, um." And he had successfully managed to avoid having any other bandages slapped on him.

Sasha's 'not pleased' face wouldn't scare a puppy, but that face - that look - was directed at Jerry. Crossing her arms over her chest, Sasha sighed before she mumbled, "Come on," and started walking away. She moved past the rows of tents back towards the infirmary; the bathing area was right next to the red tent that housed the wounded.
"Okay. Take.. take your time, now, and ah.. brush your teeth especially because Jerry." She leaned in, her nose scrunched, "You really stink, and I'm .. I don't say that to hurt your feelings."
She shooed him in, calling after him with a promised, "I'll be here w-when you're done, okay?"

Jerry had wobbled after her with the look of a kid in trouble, twisting his scarf between his hands as he went. This was a mess. But at least it was more peaceful here than the desert which... he'd rather not recall.
Plus he was still shaking off the craving for fish. There was some sardines still stuck in his teeth.
"R-right... right I'll just.. um... Sasha if I did anything um... to upset you..." He wavered, hovering in the doorway nervously.

Sasha merely shook her head and shooed him again, brows coming together in a slight frown.
"After. Go on, okay? I'll just.. you know, I'll wait out here. I promise!"

Jerry flushed, swallowing again thickly before nodding, "A... alright, I won't be long um." He gave her another frantic look before backing into the tent to tend to his grooming.
He enjoyed the hot shower, but kept it short, and was thorough with his teeth. By the time he emerged, wet and shivering into the cold, he at least looked properly groomed and smelling more human. What was Sasha upset over? He couldn't fathom it, except the embarrassment of the unpenguining but... but he wasn't alone there! And besides, it had been all Wash's fault that second time!

When Jerry reemerged from the tent, Sasha was waiting as promised. Her mouth was set in a straight line of disapproval, but even that looked weak and more like a half-smile than anything. She just felt incapable of being mad at the man. He was like.. her best friend, almost. They both loved music, and he was the first person she'd played her flute for when she'd gotten it back. He sang for her when she was feeling disjointed, and he was always just... Jerry. Her comfortable friend Jerry.
Looping her arm through his, she walked him between the infirmary and the bathing area; she moved as far from camp as she could without moving past the barrier that protected them and when they were finally a fair distance from camp, Sasha turned to him.
And promptly pushed her hand against his shoulder. Almost shoving him, but more like a brief press.
"Jerry! Gosh darn it!"

Jerry tensed as she looped her arm through his, but followed obediently all the same. It was... odd for him. Alright, he liked her, he couldn't deny this fact, but he was just happy for comfortable company. Of all his friends... Sasha had been the first he really felt he saw eye-to-eye with. Jordan... there was this general level of awkwardness that stopped him from turning to him most of the time these days. He still wasn't sure where they stood. It was all his own fault, he was sure. He liked Harrison, but he was more Candace's friend, and Candace... Candace had been his confidant on the island... up until a few months ago. Robert, meanwhile... was Robert. Sure, he was begrudgingly nice to him and looked out for him in his own way, but... he wasn't exactly comfortable with him either. But Sasha was different. She wasn't threatening, she understood where he was coming from a lot, and the idea of her upset with him terrified him.
"W-w-what!" He staggered back all the same, more out of surprise than actual force at the sudden light shove.

She wasn't sure where to start. There were a lot of things she felt the urge to discuss with him; maybe the recent goings-on would be a good place to begin.
"Okay, look. I.. okay, I didn't know at the time that you were one of those penguins but.. Jerry, I was so scared when you jumped in that hole! Okay? You could have .. d-d-died! Or .. oh my gosh, I just."
She frowned at him. Kind of.
"Don't do that kind of stuff, okay?! It's bad enough that you're like.. you're a Sun. But like.. if something happens? Who am I going to sing with, or play music with, or.. you know?" Granted, Molly and a whole mess of others were musically inclined, but..
"I just can't think about anything happening to you, okay? Like," she waved her hands in front of her face, fanning her cheeks. They'd grown red and blotchy in her upset. "I know what we do? It's dangerous, b-but. Just. Be more careful, okay?"
She shoved his shoulder again, giving a hearty sigh.

Jerry's face went green, white, and then reddened, "Sasha... I... I p-promise ah... that wasn't on purpose. There were these... experimental bandages and... well, the FIRST time was an accident, the second time was against my will, Wash really needs to learn to listen and... ah...w-well... " He gulped biting his lip as he glanced from her concerned face and away again, "I... I saw a whale?" He offered as though that was some consolation.
Granted, he would probably be seeing that whale again in his dreams, vomiting insects, more than likely.

Sasha's expression was very stern as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Well. Still. You know?"
Her expression changed from very stern to very soft.
"Okay. Lets talk about Candace."

He smiled softly, rubbing the back of his head bashfully up until she said the "C" word. His face paled, his expression hardening.
"W-what about her?"

Sasha's mouth moved back into a straight, hard line.
"I .. heard. Things. On uh." Her cheeks flushed a bright, hot red. "Flyers. Okay?"
She rubbed the side of her nose as she fixed her gaze on his shoulder.
"She really likes you, Jerry. And I. I know t-that she's like. R-really. Um. SORRY. Right? So.. Why? Uh, why don't you.. you know."

Jerry's hands clenched and unclenched as he glanced along the arctic scenery, finally thrusting them in his pockets to keep them occupied. "She doesn't. Not really. I mean... I guess... I guess she's attracted to me but..." Very attracted, apparently, "But I don't think she really... cares about me. Not... not the way I was hoping she would. I just... I can't. Did... did she ask you to talk to me about this?" His face had reddened, the beginnings of an enraged expression touching the edges of his features.

Sasha coughed at the question, and the cough turned into an odd choking noise before she gave a loud wheeze. Eyes watering, she peered up at Jerry.
"N... no. I um. Back ah.. when we met. Remember.. um. The slapping. That mission?" Sasha's brows drew together. "So, I went to check on Candace and ah.. this is before we met in the library."
Sasha cleared her throat.
"I uh. You know. I.. offered. To like. Help."
Yeah, help.
"And.. I guess I don't understand a whole lot.. like. I don't know, Jerry. I thought that.. maybe while I ah.. gosh darn it, while I had the courage to be.. you know?"
This was hard.

Jerry sighed, rubbing his eyes under his glasses a moment before moving to sit on the snow. "You signed up for a hopeless job, I think. But... that's very nice of you to try. I just... I don't see her ever changing. I tried to change for her, but... I mean..." He shrugged, expression softening as he parted his knees to poke at the snow between his shoes.
