OOC
You can only participate in this GM orp if you have wrote your posts in the classroom rp HERE
- This is a GM interaction RP IN THE SETTING OF THE FIRST DOOR, so the gm will tag as many questions (which they may or may not answer) as they please, there is no set time to questions or answers. Once again, this will be running OOCly the same time DAY 2 of the classes run, just treat it as ICLY happening before DAY 2 of classes.

She gazed at them, amused as the few students resisted resting, despite the overwhelming situation. "I see my favourite niece has chosen stronger warriors," it was said in a teasing tone, "Have you learned your lesson here yet?"

She seemed curious, excited almost, as she sat down, sweeping her dress underneath her. "I hope you do not mind that you have returned to my resting quarters. The bloodstained battleground can be a bit of a surprise to new travelers. Now tell me, where are you from?"

There was something idyllic about the place, both peaceful and relaxing. A few white birds flew overhead, the gentle fragrance of the lilies blossoming amongst the generous helping of fruit trees create a soft and gentle aura. It was easy to trust this person.

Shun had expected to reform back at the temple, but it seemed this wasn't quite the case. Instead, he had found himself in the middle of a large and open space. It might have been some sort of courtyard, with the fountain and marble statues of various Halloween Heroes around. Furrowing his brow, he looked these over from where he was before focusing on the one that was speaking to them. The one who had been singing suggested that they rest, but he wasn't really wanting to do that just yet, despite feeling wearing from that battle.

There was something rather peaceful about this whole area as a whole, and the one speaking had a gentle aura of sorts. He didn't answer her question just yet as he was still taking in what was happening here.

"Amityville Academy," he replied quietly before glancing around at the handful of others who had remained. There was one burning question within his mind.

"Where exactly are we? And who are you?"

Willow's ears twitched as she stopped, looking around. It was bright, it took her a few moments for her eyes to adjust. She looked around at the marble fountain, blue sky, statues, and white birds. She watched them fly around turning around.

Until she heard a voice spinning around almost expecting to be attacked. Relaxing after she noticed it was a horsemen was talking to them. "Halloween..." She added to Shaun's answer.

Willow looked perhaps overwhelmed. She wasn't about to close her eyes, she refused to sleep as of late, her ears twitched as she noticed the fruit trees. "When.... are we?" She asked carefully. It wasn't she didn't trust the person they were speaking it, it was she almost generally uneasy, wary of hunters.

Taryn's breath caught. She had awakened in a new place without truly ever realizing that she had died and immediately was drawn to re-enter the battlefield. As others fell asleep around her, she was led only to worry and to wonder. None of their questions had been answered with a small battle alone. What of Chiron and Theseus? Her brow furrowed as she listened to the others and their questions.

They must be in the past, certainly, although whether they were in the human world or Halloween (or neither) was entirely up in the air. Considering her belief in the time period, she piped up after the reaper who had spoken first.

"Who won?" Alright, so she was a little overwhelmed...

Aymet didn't know where he was any more. There was bright sky, and white marble all around them. The statues were the sort of ornate thing you might expect a demon to decorate with, but these were of all kinds... even some he thought he recognized. Something told him it couldn't possibly be the temple.

But the suggestion to sleep flew over his head, exhausted as he was from what seemed to be a close save of a reformation. It was instinct. Undead like him didn't sleep, not under normal circumstances anyway. He had to know more, he needed to understand everything right away. He recognized Shun at least, and clattered his way over to stand nearby him. The speaker didn't seem to be bothered by them.

"The battlefield - there were others like us, back.... wherever we just came from." He wasn't sure how to articulate any of this in his tired state. "What were they - we - fighting over?"

Ouranos opened his eyes, and blinked slowly. The dazzling world that swam before him was certainly not the bloodied warzone he'd lay dying in... in fact, this world was clean and white. It was pure. The boil got to his feet, his head miraculously clear. He was alive... or so it seemed. Being a sandman, Ouranos was immune for the most part to deep sleep; more than anything now, he was curious.

A small group of students had gathered around a woman, sitting in the midst of blooming fruit trees; it was quite a charming scene. Oura found himself drifting towards the source of activity (or rather, relaxation). The scent of flowers tickled his nose. He could hear the lively twitter of birds, the wind rustling through grass-- it was music to his ears, a far cry from the screams and wails of the battlefield.

The mysterious woman was smiling and answering questions, with an air of gentle grace. Ouranos found himself relaxing in her presence. There was no more war, no more humans in this place. Speaking of that... the boil had a few questions of his own.

"Was everything that transpired... real? Or are we all merely wandering about in a dream?" His expression was remote, thoughtful.

It was just a moment ago, a tiny millisecond when Shenny realized she's joining the world fear streams, and her personality is vanishing never to exist again. She was happy, she found a good way to die, and she felt to pain: it was a perfect final for her chapter. But what's that?.. No battle cries, no frenzy, no scent of blood: just light and a sound of a rivet, and a beautiful song at the background.

She opened her eyes. To her surprise she actually managed to open her eyes: her eyes, her hands, her feet were there. She quickly examined her body, and well, everything seemed to be at its rightful place. The sorceress took a glance around: the students, all of them, were lying in a huge marble pavilion with no walls she could see; the entire hall was covered with grass of green; deep blue sky with no sign of a cloud above them. It was deep as sea, looking into it one could feel diving. The interior presented beautiful white statues, probably representing ancient heroes: demons, reapers, undeads, horsemen. Several students were resting peacefully, sleeping, some were awake rubbing the slumber out of their eyes.

Shenny couldn't agree with the voice suggesting to rest. A moment ago she actually got used to the idea of resting peacefully for, like, forever, so the ghoul was quite happy that possibility appears to be delayed. But how exactly?.. Shenny never thought about afterlife, actually. Being logical, she assumed it's better to wait for NOTHING: this way you ain't get disappointed. But that was interesting, She told nothing about the afterlife. Instead, She was talking about getting back. Could that be just an illusion, all the trial?.. Something like the training in a cavern with gems? Shenny remembered there were three doors in the classroom, so they probably have to visit all of them.

"All ways lead to the same end". Suddenly it made sense to her; the sorceress reminded herself they were guests of the clan of Death. Funny, but the hypnosis of the Death island (and now she realized she had been under some sort of hypnosis since the arrival) didn't work on her here, her usual rational state of mind came back. The place was idyllic and peaceful; the person looked tender and kind as a mother, but somehow it didn't affect her as much, as the general atmosphere of Death... Perhaps, it was that scent that haunted her on the island. That scent wasn't here. Fortunately.

"I.. I've learnt the lesson", she whispered. "I am Shenny, and I'm from nowhere... and everywhere. Thank you for taking care of us", she looked at the students. "I have only two questions, if I may... If all the ways lead to Death, what's the point of choosing a particular one? And.. this battle... did it really take place once?".

Whatever Lucien had expected when he had dissipated had not been what he awoke to find. He was whole again and as he stood up to check and make sure, he could hear someone singing in the midst of the humming noise around him. Was it them? He had heard someone singing in the battle and it had helped him out quite drastically. He looked around for them but the first thing he could see was what could simply be defined as a paradise, especially for Lucien. He could care less about the fountain and the long marble pavilion but the clear blue skies that covered his field of vision, oh, how marvelous. It made the perfect canvas to paint the most beautiful clouds upon, or perhaps even a confession of love? Well, that was certainly a thought but a thought for later on.

The singing had stopped and instead there was a voice that told him that everything would be all right and that he'd be back home soon. He didn't want to leave right yet though, he hadn't found and properly thanked whoever was singing. Not only that but he had so many questions that just struck him out of curiousity sake. He fought it, and soon he realized that he wasn't the only one who did. He wasn't alone and he was kind of standing nearby a ghoul of some sort, his eyes looking at her as curiously as he question here.

Had he learned his lesson? Death escaped no one? Well, that was certainly being drilled into Lucien's head. Everyone died, some more than others. Some just really loved to die and if anyone judged a book by the cover on this topic Lucien was clearly starting to love it. It was all apparent now, but that probably wasn't what she meant by lesson. They were still technically in class right now and that class wasn't 1000 Ways to Die.

He had thought to answer her questions, or ask his own but quickly other students asked them for him and he found himself fiddling with his fingers. Well, there was one question that loomed through his head, and that one question lead like a spiral toward others.

"Were you the one singing?" He started out with a small, very Lucien like smile. "It was very beautiful, and quite refreshing. Is there a trick to that, can it be learned?" It seemed fun and awfully useful. If he could learn it, then he could teach Israfel. He bet Israfel would love it. Assuming she had been the one singing, which he assumed as no one else seemed to be around, then he knew for sure that Israfel was safe somewhere else.

Dissipating and reforming was not new for Xiu--not since she had enrolled in Amityville. However, this was definitely the first time that she had woken up tot he sound of someone singing. Her eyes fluttered open as she pushed herself up into a sitting position, squinting at the light. Where were they?

She heard the soft, pleasant voice urging them to rest, but when the baku realized that some of the students were choosing to stay awake, she decided to follow their lead. There was something that she wanted to know.

Xiu listened quietly as the others tossed out questions, many of which reflected her own thoughts and confusion. Who was this person? She seemed very...gentle, though, enough so that the baku couldn't help but relax slightly. When questions of the battle inevitably came up, the ghoul piped up with her own quiet, "Who were those humans?"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 11, 2012 7:49 pm

She didn't seem intimidated by the barrage of questions, waiting quietly for those who had closed their eyes to drift into further sleep before answering. It was strange almost, the students some half-asleep others wide awake circling around her figure, like an audience of sorts.

First, she turned to Shun, offering them a familiar gesture Medea had presented as well, a single hand palm-up. "An interesting name, though I'm afraid this place has no meaning here. You are at my domain, the island of Aeaea, I would offer respite to you as travelers, but I am sure you will not stay for long. As for who I am, I believe the correct answer is I am one of you."

"When, now this is an interesting question," Entirely intrigued, as if learning answers just from questions, she focused her attention to Willow. "This place you talk about, 'Halloween' I believe you called it, does not sound familiar to me, which means either you are distant travelers, or you have come here by other means." A faint smile. "It is also very possible one of us is not actually real."

Taryn. Xiu, and Aymet's questions were more straightforward, invoking the same sort of amused expression. It was a soft crease of the eyes, a gentle look, delicate and exquisite. "There is always a battle, conflict, to gain something. For now, the fight is our kind, the immortals, against what we call the mortals, those who served us once, but now gather together to win their own freedom. Without their beliefs however, we dwindle in numbers, there is speculation that we will become obsolete soon, and the time for immortals will draw to an end."

"As to whether this is real or perhaps simply a dream," this was addressed to Ouranos and Shenny, "Perhaps you yourself know the answer to this best. You did not travel this far to learn something obsolete, and at the same time, it seems you are not here to make a significant difference. I do not know as well, and what I merely say is simply from observation, it is very possible that none of this may matter, and very possible that this will matter all too much. All paths for mortals perhaps one day lead to Hades and beyond the mortal realm, to observation, when it is our time, but for now, the struggle and battle is for us, part of our lives."

She seemed pleased at Lucien's comment, shifting on the marbled bench a little closer towards him, like a favourite disciple. "Singing is one of the arts passed down with my kind, though it is not an unpopular art amongst the immortals." For a second, the wisp could perhaps feel something stronger, a Fear nudging gently against his like an invisible set of prying eyes. "If you have potential then nurturing your talents will make them grow, the only hindrance would be self-doubt."

There was a loud chime, the jingle of light bells that echoed, rather suddenly, throughout the landscape. It seemed she too had noticed, as she looked around rather curiously. "Before you leave, my guests, I do have one question though for you. With everything I have explained, why do you think you are here?"

Quietly, Shun listened to the array of answers the figure had given in response to all their questions. A few of them made little sense to him, so he was taking some time trying to piece things together. She claimed to be one of them but was not familiar with the term 'Halloween'. That and she was talking about immortals and mortal beings. Things didn't quite add up.

However, this kind of reminded him vaguely of the old war that supposedly happened between Halloween and the humans ages ago. The things he had heard regarding that didn't really match with what he had seen, but the information was never really consistent.

That, and he never really paid that much attention to it. It was something long past, if it had happened at all, so before he never thought it was all that important to know. Perhaps he was wrong.

Hearing the loud chime, he looked up, before turning his attention to the woman, thinking about her question. It was a good one. He did partially recall Medea saying something about a 'beginning'.

"Perhaps to show us the past... The days before Halloween existed. Maybe even why it came into existence..." he murmured. The Reaper didn't sound completely sure of this answer. Was this truly how it all went down?

Truth be told, a number of the figure's answers puzzled her more than it helped dispel her confusion. "I am one of you" and "one of us is not actually real"...? What could she be talking about? It was with a little frown that Xiu turned to look at her fellow students, her gaze sweeping over them searchingly.

Xiu listened to the rest of the figure's words in thoughtful silence, closing her eyes to mull over what she had learned. A fight between immortals and mortals, the latter of which wanted freedom. This sounded like...

The chime caught her off guard, enough so that the ghoul jumped in surprise, her pink eyes flying back open. However, she didn't dwell on it for long when the figure suddenly asked them a question.

Unlike Shun's answer, the baku's was far less eloquent. "We are here to...observe?" There was a moment of pause, and she shifted with embarrassment before quickly adding, "As you said, we may not make a significant difference in how the battles turn out, but...but we come away with a little more knowledge and understanding of what happened."

A few seconds ticked by in silence before she added a meek and very uncertain, "...Maybe?"

Calder hadn't fallen asleep, but had waited with the others, a bit too jostled by having a spear thrown into his face and waking up to just ease into sleeping against. Others were around him, and he had listened as he fought off the desire to close his eyes and rest. Seeing as he had already been sleeping....why did he still feel tired?

The figure that spoke had transported them as easily as all the other places to a marble garden, with stone figures that an open sky. Compared to the dark chambers of the Death Clan, it was nice to see such a contrast in color. He missed seeing green in the short stay in the clan.

Settled among the others, he looked around to see other students sleeping, and then listened in on the conversation. She didn't seem to really know what was going on or who they were, and it seemed impossible for Calder to believe that someone didn't know about Halloween. Didn't the Death Clan update her that they would be coming?

At the question, he considered it a moment, and looked back up, wary of having a wrong answer. "I thought we were here to learn guidance and answers. So far I've seen it's not just us fighting humans." That's all he knew, and he felt as if he was probably missing a lot more.

"Did Chiron make it?" Ya know, just wondering.

Willow listened her eyes watching what she assumed to be a priestess. Her head tilted slightly, also interested in the answer. She shifted slightly, almost uncomfortably at one of us is not actually real. She'd dealt in too many realities.

She seemed to consider, "This must be the past... for us, immortals dying out...." She reasoned prying her eyes away from the assumed priestess towards the marble. "... Immortals perhaps born into Halloween after they were... removed from here?" She was talking almost to herself, eyes glassy... "Left to...."

She paused, as she heard Shaun, her ears twitching life coming back to her eyes. "Yes, I think so." She added, "To, share our past... we know very little of how Halloween came into being and why...." She looked to the guest students here almost unsure of continuing.

"Our battle started before we existed, the humans that fear us started fighting back before our time..."

She looked towards the one she assumed was a priestess sweeping into a bow. "May I ask your name.... priestess?" Perhaps she could do more research in the present.

Wylfenne came back to body - to senses - and to their own distrustfulness. No, they would not allow themselves to fall asleep - until they can help it, that is. The voice of the creature in front of them seemed caring and kind - but was it caring and kind? And who was it, the ageless female with her sweet tongue? Was she the one that followed them in battle without armour nor weapon. If it is so, was she even more of a supernatural kind than they all were?

Anyway, dead or alive, while being a guest Wylfenne could not be rude to the host, so they bowed and greeted the creature courteously: "I am Wylfenne from the Unseelie Court, if you want me to be exact, I am from the battle or from the sleep of death or from nowhere I can pin on the map, because I do not know. As to why I am here, I guess you are the one to ask. My feeling is, that whether I am dead or alive, it doesn't matter, but as I have not accomplished my mission - whatever it be - I still linger on. Besides, we were told of a certain ritual; in this case, the death might be just the first stage of the ceremony that will allow us to be reborn - or to dissolve completely. And I am here to talk to you, if I am permitted, and to ask you questions, those questions I seek the answer and do not find it. What am I?"
