The Open Obstacles General Setting: The open obstacles are located just a little away from the dormitory quarters. They span a fair chunk of the untamed portion of trees that populate the isle, littering the branches with nets, sharp spears, arrows, weapons, every single trap and surprise that you could possible think of. The goal of the obstacle is not to pass it as there seems to be no visible beginning nor end, but to simply get as far as you can OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You make a spectacular start and get towards the canopy nets, climbing along them. However, you suddenly hear a snapping noise, and when you look down, your foot has been snared by a trap. Without warning, you go flying, right out of the obstacle course! Ouch! 21 - 40: You don't get very far, as some spears from the ground begin to fly at you, pinning you to a nearby tree. Yeah, someone's going to have to free you... 41 - 60: You finally pass the nets and spears and reach what looks like solid ground. Well that doesn't look too bad... that is until you step on a trap, a solid wooden crate trapping you entirely. It's gonna take a while for you to get out again. 61-80: At last you hit a rickety wooden bridge. The winds moving at what seem like ten thousand miles per hour make it impossible for you to fly past this obstacle. You cling to the bridge for dear life when suddenly - SNAP. Thankfully there is a net below... but its going to take a while to climb out. 81-100: You reach what you think is the end of the obstacle, cheering loudly. That is, until you notice a sign that says actual obstacle course ahead.(see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

Sparrow was not really certain why he was here in the first place.
The obstacles course was only a short distance away from their temporary living quarters, and was laid out across an expanse of thick trees, laden with feathers, wood, rope, nets, arrows, spears, and other various items that all made the entire thing look more than a little imposing.
Dressed in a pair of simple black slacks and a pale blue button up shirt with a dove grey vest over it, Sparrow stood on the first platform with his hands on his hips and surveyed the course. He pushed the sleeves of his shirt up and narrowed his eyes.
It still looked daunting.
He sighed.
"Well," he murmured, mostly to himself, though anyone around him would have heard him. "It's, ah...a good experience to try a lot of things."
Maybe if he kept telling himself that he would actually move forward and try the course.
Five minutes later he was still standing in the same spot, only this time with his arms folded across his chest. Not for the first time since coming to the Isle of War, Sparrow wished he could pull out his scythe and use it to help him - but something told him that wouldn't be allowed.
So he stood there, still staring, and wondering whether or not the course was actually...passable...
...probably not.

After Aleria had dropped off their suitcases, they had taken to wandering about the grounds. Despite being a perpetually chilled individual, it was something about the humidity in the forest that got to the demon. As a result, they were down to a skirt and sandals, a loose cotton top over it.
They peered at the strange human nearby, coming up behind them. Even with a pin, the demon was a hair over six feet tall.
As Sparrow stood and stared at the course, Aleria stared at them.
That is, until they got tired of waiting.
"I have been observing you!" They chirped, blinking all black eyes at the reaper. "Are you immobilized for some particular reason?"

The island belonging to the War Clan was not Thackery's most favorite place in existence, but he appeared to be embracing it, to say the least. The Cerberus that approached the obstacles hardly even looked like the same Cerberus that was the runt of a triplet family at Amityville. He'd very clearly re-embraced the idea of midriff-bearing shirts...and the War Clan's general attire as a whole. With feathers tied all in his hair and tail, a torn shirt proudly showing his tummy, bare feet and broken-blue-pen-ink-painted cheeks and eyes, he looked like he might have been here his entire life.
One day, he might learn that clothing style had no correlation with strength. But today was not that day.
He sat perched in a tree not far from the two, kicking his legs back and forth in a highly inconspicuous way that any predator would surely be proud of.
"Hey!" he called, moving to slide off of the branch. He quickly lost his footing and landed sloppily on the platform below. Groaning, he hoped they hadn't seen that. Stupid tree didn't have to remind him that dogs weren't made for climbing.
"Are you gonna do it? It's so easy! I already did it like ten times." Not even once. "You'll be on the other end in no time. Nice to see you again, by the way!" He addressed both of them with the last bit, smiling; familiar faces helped him feel a little less homesick.

The voice that was suddenly there made Sparrow jump, almost losing his balance on the platform. As it was he stumbled around rather ungracefully for several seconds until he managed to regain his footing. Then he pivoted slowly, giving the newcomer a slightly sheepish smile. He did not recognize them, but they were pale skinned and pale haired, looking at him curiously.
"Ah, well," he said, and shrugged, a small laugh escaping. "I'm, er....well, let's just say I hadn't quite...made up my mind about whether or not I was going to attempt this course just yet."
There was a clatter. Sparrow twisted around, catching sight of a smaller boil, this one with dark hair and ears protruding from the top of his head. He looked relatively familiar, and it took Sparrow a few moments to recognize him from Amityville - though the name escaped him.
"So you've tried this, have you?" he said with a grin as he eyed the course. "Looks as though I'll have to try my hand at it too, then. My name's Sparrow, by the way - wish me luck!"
And with that he took off, leaping onto the first course.
After this followed much climbing, swinging, stepping, cursing, sweating, some blood, perhaps a few muffled oaths, and finally Sparrow reached the end of the obstacle course, climbing up onto the last platform with a great deal of effort and covered in leaves and dirt. He pushed himself up, hands triumphantly on his hips, turned around and -
"END OF PRACTICE COURSE: OFFICIAL COURSE FIVE METERS AHEAD."
Dear Jack why.Quote: 81-100: You reach what you think is the end of the obstacle, cheering loudly. That is, until you notice a sign that says actual obstacle course ahead.(see below for horsemen point prompt)
