Aleister wiggled his little feather tail as he looked at the hole in the ice sticking his head in first to look around. He then launched himself into the water. Maybe there were good fish in here, better than... Sardines.
Aleister came back out of the ice hole with a Fish. Wobbling around proudly.... wait how did one eat a fish as a penguin?
<... you're not seriously going to eat that are you?>
Aleister heard Pookie in the back of his head and pondered about swallowing the fish whole.

Oh man oh man oh man the other penguin had found a HOLE to WATER!
Don't, for cryin' out loud, you better not DARE- Roar started, but it was already too late. Jerry had taken the plunge.
After the initial shock of cold, a wonderland of underwater magnificence unfolded in front of him, shimmering fish and a handful of wild (and hunter) penguins darting around after them. Wait wait wait He wanted one too! But wait... how was he supposed to...
Jerry was normally not a very good swimmer. He was a thrashing about sort. But something in his penguin heart knew what to do, and wings were flapped and the world suddenly WOOSHED by.
Oh my... this was magnificent!
You are going to freeze or drown, I'm not sure which, Roar groaned.

It seemed perfectly logical to Rep that to find fish, he would have to find water. This was simple. He tottered along behind the others until they found a hole in the ice weren't holes in the ice made by seals? No. That..that.. the hole in the ice meant fish.
Fish he could catch.
He paused and tilted his head this way and that owlishly. What a funny little voice in his head. They didn't have fish though.
He dove in.
Now THIS was ******** amazing. It was like flying as he zipped through the water at ******** breakneck speeds. He was a black and white bold of DEATH. A bolt of death heading right for the nearest fish which he snapped out of the water with the effortless grace of a true ******** predator.
He was Rep and he was ******** king of the sea.

It was probably not actually a good idea to dive into a hole in the ice. Even if one was a penguin at the moment and thus designed for swimming in icy Antarctic water, it was still a risky venture. However, the penguin brain was insisting emphatically that there were fish down there and Jordan was hungry.
Are you sure that's - Ferros started.
It was too late. Jordan was already underwater. Absently, he noted that holding his breath was effortless and that there was some kind of muscle memory that went along with being a penguin that let him cut easily through the water. The rest of his mind was taken up with HOLY CRAP I'M FLYING! and WHERE ARE THE FISH?
There was a darting school of silvery shapes under the ice; he could see several other penguins diving gleefully into it in chase. But the back of his brain was sending up alarm signals, and he slowed in the water, trying to figure out what was wrong. There was a flicker of something in the shadows in the water, dimly visible now and then between the fish. What was it?

Having been thrown ushered out of the tent, Jason the penguin now lay on his back, but not for long. For he had soon scrambled to his feet, and preceded to now run a muck outside the tent, all but having a nervous breakdown.
Yeah, there had been plenty of things he couldn't explain or understand, and the notion of freaky monsters had always been in his head weather he understood it or not. But...this just did not compute. How....How did this even happen?! Bandages did not change people into PENGUINS!
His brain could not fathom this, and his previous high was all but gone at the notion that he may be stuck like this forever. Forever a penguin.
As he waddled around in a panic, He had neglected to see the group of penguins and the hole they were gathered around, and as such waddled straight into it. With a squawk, he was under.
The cold hit him straight away, but it wasn't as bad as he first thought. It was..soothing, in a way. Probably because his insulation protected him from the harsher effects. He flailed a little more, but slowly stopped, taking more interested in the environment around him. The watched stretched out for a eternity, and he could see silver spots swimming past him. Fish
...He hadn't realized before, but he was hungry.
With a few experimental flaps of his flippers, he managed to figure out how to 'swim' in his new form, and luckily a school of fish had swam just in front of him, quick as a flash, he he snagged one from the school
And so, he floated there, nomming on his fish.

Jerry had almost forgotten about fish, just marveling in the feeling of practically FLYING! He zoomed through the fish schools, past his fellow penguins, a gurgling squeal through the water translating as mad, joyful laughter. His flippers flailed, slowing him down to loop around a somewhat familiar penguin... there was something about him he couldn't put his finger on but... "Alpha!" There was a word for that in penguin, but apparently didn't mean exactly the same thing, but close enough, "We're flying! Flying for Fish!" He giggled. Who needed alcohol when there were penguin bandages? Unfortunately, in his glee, he failed to notice the Seal that suddenly lurched out of the darkness, hell bent on Jerry-kabobs for dinner. With a yelp, he spluttered, frantically trying to swim away, "Aaaah aaaah LOOK OUT LOOK OUT LOOK OUT!" SEAL ATTACK 81-99: A seal has spotted you! Quick, attack to save your fishing grounds! Seal must be successfully hit 5 times before it will flee! Keep track of how many hits the Seal has taken from the penguin before you.

And then there was a seal. His penguin instincts said this was TEETH AND DEATH and that he should flee. Flee as fast as his wonderful little flippers would carry him.
Jerry. He ..knew someone called Jerry. Oh. THAT Jerry.
If a penguin could sigh, this one would have, as he wheeled around to turn his full penguin fury on the thing, snarling in a stream of bubbles. "If not sun, let you get eaten-by-seal." apparently penguins had a lot of words for eaten too. Lovely.
Catching up with them was the first problem.

Yep. That was Jerry, all right. "Fish," Jordan agreed cheerfully. Then the shadowy thing that had been setting off alarm bells in the back of his head made itself immediately apparent. "SEAL!"
He twisted around and dove at the seal. Nope, not letting anyone get eaten-by-seal. The seal was just as fast and agile, though, and it easily evaded him. "Get from behind!"
You're going to lose too much air if you keep yelling, Ferros advised.
The voice in his head was right. He should keep his beak shut and just attack the seal.

If he could have known a few months ago he'd be fighting seals underwater to save an annoying nerd, he might have reconsidered the offer.
There was another penguin there. One he didn't recognise but who also seemed about as wrapped up as he was in catching up to the seal before it made a morsel out of Jerry. He wouldn't be much of an appetiser he guessed. Not like fish.
Ah fish, he should have been hunting you, not a big fat row of fangs.

"Don't scream! Save your air," Jordan scolded as he zipped past Jerry again.
If this wasn't life-threatening, it would actually be a lot of fun, he mused. Thinking in terms of fighting in three-dimensional space instead of on a flat plane was amazing. The seal changed directions to loop around and snap at him, and he twisted away just as easily.

He was such a tiny penguin, Jerry thought miserably to himself, why wasn't the seal going after the others?
Your scars, dumbshit. Probably thinks you're the lame one of the herd. That's the one our packs where always taught to go after.
P-p-packs?? Jerry paled under his feathers. That didn't mean there were MORE seals around did it? Frantically, he tried to take a sharp turn, hoping for the best...
He was sorry, guys. Really. He just wanted a fish, and he hadn't even gotten that...

So close, close enough he was practically riding the currents behind the seal as it chased Jerry.
Maybe he had a point, whatever kind of penguin he was wasn't /quite/ fast enough. He tried pecking its tail and missed every time.
When they got out of this, he was going to punch Jerry right in the nose.

After he finished nomming on his fish, Jason felt...a little better, comign to terms with his predicuament. Although as he floated there, he realized someone else was in a much worser state then he was. Considering they were being chased by a-
SEAL. SEAL. HUGE ******** SEAL WTF SEAL.
....He didn't want to go near it. Realllly didn't want to go near it. But, the penguin appeared to be a hunter (it was wearing glasses, and penguins didn't wear glasses) so it was his duty to help out.
Still a little unsteady with his flippers, he flapped them a few times to gain some speed, trying to catch up with the others but...failing, miserably.
