The Sacred Temple of Nine Dragons The sacred temple is a large open shrine that leads into a deeper section inside, composed of two floors. The first floor is composed entirely of simple wooden engravings along the pillars and walls, the enter area depicts a large wooden carving of what would most likely be the Imperial Majesty of Conquest, sitting nobly on a throne. There are several Clans members kneeling in front of it in reverence. The second floor is composed of an "archives" area, though the scrolls are off limits. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You walk around the first floor and notice how uneven the flooring is. When you look down, you see that each tile has a different engraving on it, with strange characters. They don't seem to do anything when you step on one of the characters/gylphs though. 21- 40: You amble up to the second floor and see walls and walls of rolled up scrolls. You lean in to take a closer look, but is stopped by a Clan member, who shakes their head and pushes you back. 41- 60: You take a look at the giant statue in the center. It is your imagination, or do they kind of look like a certain Heir you know as well? (If you don't know Invictus, this part has no effect on your character) 61- 80: You hear muttering behind you, and catch the words "not returning from the Human World" and "military army group number..." but the rest of it trails off. 81- 100: You notice how elaborate all the decorations are: even the detail in the wooden carvings in the pillar. You look up at the ceiling and realize along with the unique tiles, they are all gilded with delicate gold and jade. It seems this clan spares nothing when it comes to the smallest attention to detail. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

The temple was a spot of special interest for Riley. It seemed just a touch more mysterious than all of the open pavillions she'd been visiting, and she immediately entered it in hopes that something interesting would find it's way to her. Sure enough, as soon as she walked inside, the giant statue of Conquest loomed in front of her, capturing her attention and taking her breath away. It was truly something, to see the face that reminded her so much of Invictus, someone who had not so long ago held her hand and led her to sit on his throne, in such an awe inspiring way. Invictus was not a tall man, but he held his own authority, and she was sure that one day his statue would grace these halls as well. She bowed her head respectively to the statue, and tried not to imagine what her statue would look like, one day.

The flooring on the first floor made Riley bend down to one knee, and run a finger along the carvings. Each one was intricate, and each one was different. What a strange way to floor a room, unless they stood for something. Riley's first thought was that the room was a memorial, and each tile was the name of a clan member lost. It was a convenient way to mourn those who had passed, although.. walking on the names of fallen comrades seemed a little disrespectful.

Danny was busy running away from the dance hall when she saw the BIG SHINY BUILDING. There was no way she wasn't entering that and running around. Maybe she could even find something to take home ...
She quickly scrambled inside the building. She was going to walk around on the first floor when she noticed a bunch of people kneeling in front of a statue for some odd reason. There was no way she could get in there without getting scolded a few thousand times and then yelled at a few hundred.
So instead she wandered up to the second floor. There were scrolls on the wall, which Danny felt instantly drawn to. They just looked so ... flammable.
Yeah she got kicked out of there pretty quickly.

As Danny wandered down the stairs, away from the sneering guards, she couldn't help but notice all the details in the room. Her eyes couldn't focus on everything all at once though, much as she tried.
There were even carvings on the ceiling! How did people get up there and paint it? The shiny attributes that glossed the room- it was almost too much.

So shiny, in fact, that she thought she saw something ...
No it was nothing. Danny immediately turned to the door to notice Riley there as well. Hngggg. She still felt horribly awkward with the ghoul after breaking the gun at her booth. Actually, Riley probably didn't even notice the gun, but Danny still felt like she had committed a horrible crime thanks to Jericho's outburst.
Still, awkward was Danny's middle name. "Uhhhhhhh hi there!" she said, waving in Riley's direction.

Who had he seen earlier? Riley. Who did Israfel want to go bother? Riley. The siren had seen the mindflayer in a while and was missing her. Granted he was more or less the village idiot in terms of what happened at the house, Israfel was a tad too optimistic to think that yes, it still did matter to some people.
His 'GO SAY HI TO RILEY' thoughts were cut short as he spied a statue. That looked kind of like Invictus.
He took a picture.
Invictus was pretty popular apparently, and really important. Because that was what happened when you got important.
You got statues.

Why was he here again? Lost and forgetful he'd gone to the second floor, his interest shifting to the scrolls. When pushed back he just leaned in again. The process happened a couple times before he gave a chirp of frustration and went back down. And say tentacles. Now, It didn't seem Riley had noticed him yet. And if he could he wanted to surprise her. Why? Because why not. Creeper Israfel mode activated, he was trying to inch his way over. (fOvO)f

Each and every tile was different. She'd taken her time, walking carefully past each tile, and tried to sense some kind of pattern. Perhaps if she could decipher a possible code, it would explain the meaning behind the glyphs on the floor. Her feet stepped gently within the cracks, trying not to step on each glyph in case they truly were names of deceased..
And then she stopped.
Her head snapped up, shifting first left, then right. She could have sworn she felt someone watching her, but there was nothing there to be seen. The room was empty, and eerily so. She continued on, being even more careful not to step on the glyphs.

It was both dangerous, and strange, that the flooring had not been put down smoothly. It was jagged in places, and dipped in others. Ever present were the glyphed tiles, but they only lined an uneven floor, which made them look rough, and incomplete. She almost slipped a few times, and her foot jammed down on a tile when she caught herself, only to look up again.
Something had just been watching her. She was sure of it. She had seen movement out of the corner of her eye, but now that she looked.. it was gone.
Riley's steps became even quieter, as she began listening for the phantom stalker who taunted her, just out of her line of sight.

She almost spotted him! Thankfully, he'd managed to hide behind a pillar. Mission creep in Riley was on full swing. Normally one might be worried she'd pick up on their thoughts but the siren didn't have such worries. He didn't often think very hard after all. Looking down at his feet his eyes traced the symbols.
Horsemen really shouldn't draw on the ground.

Back to his work! he had a mind flayer to creep on after all; it was a very delicate process. He didn't have a very good view and angle of her so he tried to get the high ground. Tried. The horseman from before ushered him back again, so, the siren was stuck behind another pillar. Creepin. (fOvO)f

Soft slippered feet moved across the ground as Sammy moved towards the sacred temple. Her own soft steps flickering across the ground. When she ventured into the temple her natural tendency was to work from top to bottom exploring, however she was quickly shooed away leaving her to linger on the first floor.
Right behind a Siren.
"You know Israfel, it's not nice to creep like that."

Malodore entered the temple with a measured tread, peering around in curiosity. It moved with care, as the temple seemed to have a hush over it, silence and reverence and history all balled up into one. Strangely, though, the flooring felt uneven under its hooves - looking down, it saw that the floor was made of very different tiles. Strange, given the unity of the rest of the structure, but perhaps they were memorials of some kind? They must have some special significance.
