The students are led to a massive cavern, to the sides of the area hide bedrolls, ornate cushions, and woven blankets are stacked neatly. Rather than individuals rooms, the students will be sharing one large communal chamber. The stone floor is neatly swept, and the walls decorated with small ornaments and dried bouquets of of various plants and flowers.

Rather than fire or electricity, the room is lit by odd glass globes. Their content and colour vary, some holding glowing plants and flowers suspended in liquid, while others contain odd mosses that provide a weak but soothing light. Still others are open, containing pollen and worms, that house glowing larvae and grown fireflies freely darting in and out. Around the lights, the soft fluttering of moth wings sound throughout the night and day.

The chamber smells of dried plants and rich oils. As far as places to sleep went, the guest chamber of Famine was a fairly soothing place to rest.

[Entering]

Sheridan stepped from the darkness of the passageway...into the dimness of a cavern. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the room, a hand raised to swat away at moth that had flown past his ear. He didn't like the looks of this, not at all. To others it may have been comfortable, but to Sheridan it still remained a week spent underground, a week without the stars he cherished so much. He did not like the idea of a week without looking up at the night stars.

Well, at least it was neat and uncramped, and the smell was pleasant enough. Still, he wished there had been a window or sky light of some sort. He supposed there was nothing he could do about it now, though he was likely to be rather grumpy by the end of the week.

His tail twitched as he walked through the cavern, examining the various furnishings, intrigued by glass orbs and the light they gave. Finally, gathering several of the cushions, he moved them into a pile and settled down. At least the cushions were comfortable.

Now the question was, what class was Tess in this week? He knew where Angenora was, but Tess he was not so certain of. He had thought Tess was in famine as well, though he had not yet seen her.

As soon as she saw those glass globes, Reiko was entranced. The ghost ghouls tared at them, eyes slightly wide. "How remarkable," she murmured. Alex's comment about making places to sleep jolted her back to attention, though.

"Oh, yes, it appears so." She said, shaking her head. Really? Distracted by the pretty lights? Really? "Hmm, well, a place to lie down will be nice." She admitted offhand.

"Oh, certainly." Reiko reached into her obi and pulled out her eyephone, turning it on. There was a text waiting from her mother, asking if she'd made it to the second island alright. She hurriedly texted her back that yes, she had, and then offered the phone to Alex.

((Entering))

As Mitzi entered the dorm, she looked around. This place was actually kind of pretty, if not really her style, but most importantly it was not the War dorm. "Oh, this looks nice!" She followed the zomboil to the pile of bedding, testing some of it to get an idea what she'd want to grab later.

"Oh? Why don't you have your phone, Alex?" she asked, mostly just curious.

All the while she wasn't exactly ignoring the onryo, but she was definitely giving her sort of the cold shoulder.

Suddenly her own phone buzzed, and she pulled it out to check it. Oh, Imryn had finally gotten back to her!

Alex decided he would gather up things for actual bedding later, when he came back to the dorms for the night after having some exploration time. For now he had business to attend to!

"Thank you sooooooo much!" He grinned, taking the phone away from the ghoul eagerly and wasting no time in getting it to the contacts screen so that he could send a message to his own phone that would be on the Isle of Conquest with Yin right at this very moment.

He glanced over to Mitzi, giving the purple haired ghoul a wry half smile while even as he tapped in the message.

"I gave it to Yin for the week, taught him how to use it and told him I'd send him messages from here so that we could keep in contact." Thinking about the other boil already brought with it a sudden sharp pang of loneliness, but he tried to ignore it. This was only day one, for jacks sake! Surely he could get through a couple of days at least before he began desperately missing the other boil.

He really needed to learn some independence at some point. This could not be healthy.



As though he really needed to add that last part. Would it not be obvious who was texting him? They never had agreed on any secret greeting message for Alex to use to prove it was indeed him messaging the other boil, though, so he thought he aught to at least add that it was indeed him sending the message.

JD came to similar conclusions about the decor, but unlike his sister, the lack of partitioned rooms....

Was intriguing. Besides, at least they wouldn't have to sleep on the bare floor.

"Hello, any of you ladies need a shower? I'm great at shampooing," he called. "Auri, why don't you just go back to Conquest, maybe you can make some more goo goo eyes at Zar. I've got work to do."

Oh Jack, oh JACK that smell...



He quickly crabwaddled away. He had to go to class, obviously. Yeaaaah. He was so not volunteering a shampoo on the WALKING DEAD, her hair might fall out and-

He scuttled even faster, trying not to gag.

She was distracted from her text to Imryn by Alex's response, and quickly hit "send". "Oh, that's sweet of you," she replied. Once the zomboil finished up, she glanced around the room. "So, what now?"
