Hi everyone. My name is actually Dylan and I don't mind if you call me as such. I don't have any nicknames so you might as well call me by Dylan. ANyway I'm sixteen and excited to get more and more into writing. I love any feedback when you can give it to me whether it's good or bad I don't mind. I want you to help me become a better writer. I used to write poetry but I plan on keeping my writing in stories. Some topics will link together into a longer story. Anywho I should stop boring you all. I will get my topics up as soon as I stop writing my novel smile

New Beginnings
001

Alex tossed his bag in the back seat of his mother’s white sedan frustrated. His mother had just married Rick, a billionaire philanthropist and they were moving from their home in Montana to his in the city of Chicago. It’s not that Alex hated the man, he hated his lax way of life. All his life Alex had lived and worked on his parent’s farm, tending to the animals and the crops. The only real technology he enjoyed was his guitar. On nights when his chores were finished early, he would sit in the barn and sing to the animals whilst he played his guitar.

“Alex?” His head turned to the farm house where his mother was clipping on an earring. As she made her way down the steps he saw his father appear in the window. He and his father watched each other for a moment before the parental figure disappeared. He sighed and turned to his mother who approached him almost as if excitement was about to make her explode. “Sweetheart, are you ready to leave?”

He shrugged and got into the front seat without looking at her any longer.
It took almost half an hour until they reached the airport, the whole ride silent. As he got out his eyes caught a girl his age looking his way. She waved but he made no attempt at returning the gesture. He pulled his bag along with his guitar case from the car and threw each on both of his shoulders. He looked back to see the girl still watching him, a smile spreading from her lips. He ignored the girl and made his way to his terminal, followed by his mother who only had a purse. She was convinced by Rick that she didn’t need those poor articles and that he’d buy her new more fashionable ones. Alex however only wore jeans and plain t-shirts wherever he went so it didn’t matter to him.
After pushing through the crowds of people trying to make their ways to their own planes, Alex and his mother finally made it to their own. The plane was large and the logo of his new step father’s was on it. Alex’s eyes rolled as he boarded it. He looked to his ticket and saw he was put into first class beside his mother. He stopped in front of a flight attendant and showed her his ticket.

“Ma’am is it alright if I downgrade?”

She looked at him as if he were an idiot but shrugged. “Sure thing, but I don’t see why you would. Just find a seat and move to another if it’s someone’s seat.” He left her looking clueless. He could hear his mother apologize for her son but he didn’t care. He just wanted to sit as far from her as possible.
He found a seat in the very back of the plane and set his guitar down. He didn’t like leaving it and since his new step father owned the plane he got away with bringing it with him. Not even a few minutes after boarding though he looked up to see the girl from earlier staring at him. She had crimson hair though it wasn’t natural for sure and her eyes were a forest green.
They watched each other for a minute before he finally shrugged. “What do you want?”

“You play guitar?”

He looked to the guitar in the seats beside him then back at her. “What of it?”

She brushed her hair behind her ears and smiled brightly. “I’m also into music. I play piano and sing.” She noticed his mood shift suddenly at the topic so she continued. “I also have a band. We recently lost a guy and need a guitarist and lead singer. Can you sing?”

He smiled brightly and ran a hand through his hair belting out the notes as he spoke. "Honey don’t even goo there. I can sing circles around Lady Gaaagaaa~”

She, along with some others on the plane applauded him. He moved his guitar to clear the seat beside him. “Why don’t you come here? What’s your name?”

“Alexis.” She got up and plopped herself down beside him.

They picked each other’s brains as the plane prepared to take off when finally it came to him. “What’s the band’s name anyway?”

“Oh the name? We haven’t decided yet. You have any ideas?”

“How about New Beginnings?” They both smiled and nodded, both sure that the person they were looking at, would change them for the best.

(((It was written quickly but i think the base story will end well)))

I like Alex's character. Heh. I like that it was kind of unclear about what happened with the dad. You seemed to mention him being on the farm, and yet the mom was leaving with the son, and there didn't seem to be a goodbye... I really enjoy speculating with stories. Heh. S'interesting.

More speculating about his relationship with his mom. I wonder if he's so detached simply because he's being uprooted from his home or if there's more to the relationship. Not sure, but I like thinking about it.

Do you plan on continuing this? It's okay if the answer is no. It leaves very open-ended but kind of hopeful that he'll find his place in Chicago. Just curious.

Cause and Effect
002

“So you want to meet up tomorrow? I can introduce you to the band and everything.”

“Yeah, sure thing.” Alex shouldered his guitar only half paying attention to her. They had just landed at the O’Hare airport and he wasn’t feeling wonderful about going “home”. Still he was glad to have someone he enjoyed being around.

“Here’s my number and address. Give me a text or call me. I’ll see you later.” She waved at him and walked down the aisle and out the plane. The second he turned back to pick up his backpack he felt a hand on his shoulder.

A deep sigh escaped his lips. “What mom?”

“Our limo is waiting so we should get going.” She smiled brightly, trying to get something out of her son but finding nothing but his usual expression. “Sweetheart you can’t still be-“

“Our limo is waiting.” He slipped past her and made his way out the plane.

His mother sighed, defeated.

The second he got out the limo driver approached him. “Mr. Wocheck is waiting at the mansion.”

Alex sighed again. “Of course he is.” He and his mother followed the driver out the airport. On the way out Alexis caught sight of him but noticed he was in a bad mood and decided not to bother him. Still it was weird seeing him as some rich boy. From what he had told her he was no more than a farm boy who sung to the animals.

He caught a quick glimpse of Alexis before she disappeared in the crowd of people. He thought about what she had said when she gave him her number. What the hell is a text?

This was the first time Alex had ever seen a limo. Frankly, he hated it as much as he hated everything about him moving. Still it was somewhat exciting to be able to ride in the slick vehicle. “No.” He ran a hand through his short brown hair and slid into the limo, opening the door for himself. The driver looked confused so Alex’s mother apologized and accepted the help.

Alex’s mother turned to him as if he had done something wrong. “What the hell is wrong with you? Ever since Rick proposed to me you have been such a crab a**.”

“If have nothing to say about it.” He crossed his arms and turned his attention away to the window. “I have worked my a** off all my life. I get home from school and I work. After I work, I play my guitar and I sing to the animals that I have spent most of my life around. That was the life I knew and you pulled me out of it because why? You found some rich a*****e who can give you everything you want? Well I’m eighteen and the second I get enough money I’m moving out of that a**’s mansion and finding an apartment. I’ve worked all my life, I don’t need handouts. After I leave I don’t want anything from him or you. You’re not my mother. Your that woman who took me away from what made me happy.”

His mother opened her mouth to say something but shut it. She knew he was right. The rest of the car ride was silent save for Alex who had pulled out his guitar midway and began humming. He stopped the second the mansion came into view and pulled his grumpy face back on.

The car pulled up to the gate to their new driveway and Alex already felt sick. The mansion could fit almost ten or fifteen of his house inside it. On top of it all the land around it was larger than the farm he came from.

The car pulled up to the front of the mansion and Rick’s frame appeared in the doorway. The man’s orange hair stood out under the sun. The driver opened the door for the two passengers. After his mother stepped out, Alex closed the door and opened it for himself. For a second he looked down the driveway to avoid Rick’s gaze but he finally turned and just glared at the billionaire who ended up taking him from his home.

“Welcome Sarah. Alexander it’s nice to see you.” Rick walked up to Alex and extended his hand out. The guitarist slung his guitar over his shoulder and continued to glare.

“My father is Alexander. My name is Alex and that’s what you will call me.”

The older man chuckled lightly. “It’s all the same isn’t it?” The older man
smirked while Alex glared even more furiously. Alex’s mother bit her lip then jumped between the two.

“Hey Rick let’s show Alex to his room. He’s tired from the flight.” The ginger nodded and gestured towards the house.

Alex’s room was big enough to hold his home’s whole first floor which infuriated him further. Still he gladly fell onto the bed and pulled his guitar from his bag.

Alex’s mother knocked on her son’s door. “Alex? Can we talk.” After a moment of silence he opened the door.

“What mom?”

“I’m sorry about this whole thing. It’s a lot to take in. It’s just I wasn’t made for the hard working life. I’m a mother not a worker. You on the other hand, you
enjoy working hard. I will talk to Rick about laying off on his rude remarks. I just ask that you forgive me.”

He sighed and looked to his feet. “Are you just saying that because I told you off?”

“It took that for me to understand how you truly feel. I’m sorry for everything.”

The young brunette nodded. “You’re my mother. Of course I forgive you. If you’ll excuse me though, I have to make a couple calls.” He left his mother standing in the doorway but he knew by the smile on her face she was ok.

“Hey Rick let’s show Alex to his room. He’s tired from the flight.” The ginger nodded and gestured towards the house.

I don't exactly know why but the ginger thing made me smile. I imagined it for a second in first person; maybe that's why.

Anyways, I liked his attitude over his change of lifestyle. I was expecting an ecstatic teenager moving into a mansion and getting rich blah, blah, blah until I actually read on... *That should teach me to judge with the first few lines of stories. xd *

One last thing though. Be careful with your punctuation like in the sentence above. Other than that, it was pretty much a nice story to begin with.

Peace of Mind
003

“Hello who is this?”
“Who do you think sweetheart~?” Alex chuckled lightly, leaning against the wall where the high tech home phone was. It had no cord but he felt if he went too far he’d lose the connection.
“Well you sure work fast. What’s up honey?” The both laughed together, something he hadn’t done much in the past month. Since his parent’s divorce and Rick’s hasty proposal, he didn’t have much time to laugh. Between hating the man and picturing waking up with an alarm clock rather than a rooster, it was hard to find time to be happy.
Alex pulled a chair from the kitchen and continued leaning against the wall with it. “I really don’t want to stay at home, so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. Not with the band though. We can all meet up tomorrow.” A butler ran through the kitchen and Alex silently cursed Rick for making the poor man work.
“Sure thing. You’re new to town so write down this address, I know a pizza place.” Alex looked around for a moment and found nothing to write the address down on. The butler passed by again and Alex waved to him, covering the phone while whispering.
“Hey where can I find a pen and paper?”
“I will get it for you right away sir.”
“No I just want to know where it is.” It was too late though. The butler had left and returned with the items he didn’t actually request. Alex decided not to argue. It was the man’s job to take orders. However, Alex would not take advantage of that. He took the pen and paper and wrote the address down.
Alexis thought for a moment and smiled brightly though he couldn’t see. “Hey bring your guitar too. Also bring a change of clothes.”
Before Alex could ask what for, she hung up. Still her spunky attitude made him laugh. Rick walked into the kitchen, and by the look on his face it seemed he had never seen one before. “Who were you talking to kiddo?”
The younger man stood and put the chair back, shoving the paper with the address into his pocket. He walked around the ginger only to be stopped by his mother.
“You don’t have to tell him but it’d be nice if you would tell me.” She smiled nicely and winked to her son.
Alex pretended to smile though he wished he was already on his way out. “I’m going out to eat with a friend of mine. I probably won’t be back till later.”
His mother nodded in approval and let her son pass.
Rick snorted loudly. “Well now he already made a friend. That’s so nice. How does he plan on getting there though?”
Alex’s mother crossed her arms. “Rick, his father is paying him for the years he had helped work on the farm. Knowing Alex, he will get a cab.”
“Why is he so stuck up?”
“He’s a proud young man.” Rick huffed and walked away. Alex’s mother bit her lip softly and followed her fiancé.

Alex looked into the mirror in his room. His short brown hair was spiked in the front but other than that he remained unchanged. His usual attire remained the same with a pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt.
He nodded in approval and slung his guitar case over his shoulder. Inside he had also brought a pair of spare clothes like Alexis had requested. In his mirror he saw his mother with some device in her hand.
“Sweetie, take this. Your father bought it for you. It’s a cell phone.”
His eyebrows arched in confusion. “What is a cell phone?”
She shook her head, laughing at her son. “You’ve spent too much time on the farm. It’s a phone that works anywhere. You can program numbers in it and text people. Texting is like writing a letter only it’s digital.”
Alex blinked while he processed the information. Finally he nodded, taking it from her hand. “Thanks mom. I’ll give you a call to let you know how I’m doing.” He left her standing there in his room. She couldn’t help but sigh though, wishing he wouldn’t leave.

“Hey, Alex! Did you find the place alright?” Alexis waved to Alex from her seat in the dimly lit restaurant.
At the sight of Alexis, the young man couldn’t help but smile. “Yes it wasn’t too hard. The cab driver took care of it for me.”
“You took a cab? What happened to your driver?”
Alex sighed and began telling her his story. She listened intently to every word which slipped past his lips. By the time he finished the pizza had already come. He grabbed a piece to pull his eyes from hers. Alexis though smiled and put a hand on his.
“I didn’t know you were that deep. You know, I have an apartment. You don’t have to stay in the mansion if you hate it so much.”
Alex nearly choked at the mention of moving in with her. “You mean you’re willing to let a stranger move in with you?”
“Well you’re hardly a stranger. When I look at you I feel like I’m seeing a long lost friend. It’s weird yes but I trust you. That’s kind of why I asked you to bring spare clothes. I wanted you to spend the night.”
“Yes.”
“Huh”
Alex laughed and took another bite of his pizza. “I will stay the night. I’ll even move in with you.” His smile broadened at the thought of not having to return to the horrid mansion he had only spent half an hour in.
It was agreed that they would get his things the next day. They left the little pizzeria and walked down the street to her apartment building. It was simple and that was how he liked things. Inside, he noticed it was properly furnished.
“You must make some good money to get this stuff huh?”
“Not entirely. My parents loaned me some money. I’m working to pay them back. Speaking of which if you need a job we have an opening at the restaurant I work at. Let’s forget about work though. Why don’t we play some music together?”
Alex’s face brightened up. This was what he needed. He needed the working life. Being eighteen and having things handed to him wasn’t living. His nerves relaxed immensely and he pulled his guitar from its case. “Yes let’s play some music.”

I love these new installments. Heh. I'm really, very much enjoyed them.

Is every day of the year going to be this story? I'm curious. I think this is a really amazing thing, using the day prompts for a continuous story. If you don't mind, I might do that myself, use a few days to make one, larger story. Thank you for that inspiration heh

I plan on continuing the story however I don't plan on doing it for a whole year. There are some prompts I can't really fit into the story. However, you seem to like it very much so I may exchange prompts so I can continue with the story.

Go ahead (: I don't mind I actually figured other people would do that actually.

Jealousy
004

Alex’s eyes closed as a blinding lit hit his face. He could hear someone moving around but was still too tired to realize who it was. Alexis’s voice soon became clear in his ears, probably because she shouted right in them.
“Hey lazy butt get up! We have to meet the band!” She hopped away from him to get ready for the band date while he pulled himself from his slumber. The night before they had sang together while he played his guitar. Afterwards the watched a movie and then something else happened. It was vague what had transpired but he deemed it to be not important. What was important was that he got ready to meet the band.
Alexis came back and modeled her dress in front of the still sleepy Alex. “What do you think about this?” It was a black strapless dress with sequins all over it that reflected the light in his face, only making it harder for him to see. Still, he knew better than to say anything absolutely stupid.
“I think you look great. Can I at least take a shower before we go?”
Alexis giggled and nodded though he was still too delirious to see. “Go right ahead. You are my roommate after all; you have the right to use it.” She walked off towards her bedroom while he got off the couch where he had slept. He grabbed his spare clothes from his guitar case and made his way to the bathroom.
After a steaming hot shower Alex finally woke up. He began fixing his hair in the mirror when he noticed a small purple bruise on his neck. His hand shot to his neck where the bruise was. “What happened?”
“Oh I kind of hit you in the neck by accident.” Alex jumped as Alexis appeared in the doorway. “We saw a scary movie last night and I jumped and sort of hit you. Sorry. Oh, by the way, nice bod.” She winked and walked away giggling while he looked down and saw he was only in a towel. Alex couldn’t help but chuckle lightly to himself.
“Wow. Mental note, close and lock the bathroom door.”

About ten minutes later Alex appeared in the living room wearing a pair of black jeans this time with another black t-shirt, this one slightly tighter than the last. All the years working on the farm had clearly developed his body well and Alexis made it a point to point it out.
“Hubba hubba what a stud you are! Glad to know I have a good looking roommate.”
Alex blushed lightly and rubbed the back of his neck. “Oh shut up. Come on we should get going.” He went to go for the door when he heard a vibrating sound. On the coffee table in the living room was his phone, lit up like the sun. He picked it up and saw the word “Mom” on the screen.
“Hello,” he said, flipping open the phone.
“Alex!? Oh my god are you alright where are you?”
“Mom, relax I stayed the night at my friend’s apartment. By the way I need to talk to you when I get home later. I have to go, I’m about to meet the band I’ll be in.
“Ok honey be careful.”
Alex closed the phone and sighed. “Mom’s not going to like the news” He shoved the phone into his pocket then made his way to his guitar case where Alexis had put away his guitar. The fiery redhead jumped up off the couch, hands at her hips.
“She will just have to deal with it. We’re eighteen we don’t need to live with our parents. She can deal with it.” She pouted as Alex started laughing at her.
“I was just kidding. I already told her I was looking for a place. Now shouldn’t we be somewhere?” She nodded and blushed as he took her by the hand and led her out the door. The second they got to the main lobby they were approached by a girl their age. The girl was pale like a ghost with raven black hair. Her eyes were blood red, probably from contacts. She dressed in all black which only made her skin stand out more. When she spoke it seemed slightly sarcastic to Alex though Alexis knew better.
“Alexis you sure took your sweet time. Everyone’s waiting for you.” Her attention was drawn to Alex who was still holding onto the red headed girls’ hand. “Who’s the hunky guy with the guitar? Your boyfriend?”
Alex blushed but Alexis smirked, holding up the intertwined hands. “Why do you like him? I found him on an airplane. Sadly he’s not my boyfriend. Though you’re right he is hunky.” Alex let go of her hand and flicked her in the head.
“Oh you be quiet.” Alexis rubbed her head and pouted playfully while Alex extended his hand to the girl. “My name is Alex. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Cassandra. Call me Sandra though.” She shook his hand, admiring the males muscle tone. While she checked him out she noticed the bruise on his neck. She decided not to bring it up. “Come on we should get going.” Both Alex and Alexis nodded and followed Sandra out the building. They only walked across the street to building with a “STUDIO FOR RENT” sign on it. Sandra pointed to the sign.
“That studio is actually a recording studio. We’re raising money so we can rent it. However it’s hard to raise money when the band is missing a lead male singer and guitarist… I take it you will be our hero huh?” She turned to Alex who nodded, looking up at the building.
“I take it you have a loft here where you all practice.” She nodded and entered the building followed by Alexis. Alex smiled and followed behind them.

“Hey everyone look who I found!” Sandra pulled Alexis in laughing. Alex came through the door and everyone looked his way. There was two more girls in the room, one blonde with freckles, the other an Asian girl with black hair a lot like Sandra’s. There was also three guys. One guy sat at the drums, he was slightly older than the others. He had slicked back hair that was a dark black and dark sun glasses which shaded his eyes completely. The next of the guys was fiddling around with a ukulele. He had blonde hair and freckles like the blonde girl. The last guy sat in a rotating office chair with a bass in his lap. He was a good looking guy with shaggy brown hair and blue eyes which penetrated through Alex’s gaze.
Sandra smiled brightly and pulled Alex forward. “Hey you guys, this is Alex. He will be our new lead singer and guitarist! Lucky find huh?” The two girls both giggled while the guys smiled fondly, except for the shaggy haired one. He simply spun in the chair in a full circle, returning his gaze back to Alex.
The blonde guy walked up to Alex and extended out his hand. “Hey there Alex, I’m Danny. The blonde girl there is my sister Danni, we’re twins. The other girl there is Mizuka. She’s kinda shy. Our slicked back friend there is Tom. The guy with the base is-“
“Eric.” The shaggy haired guy stood up and approached Alex. They were both the same height which made eye contact easier. Eric watched Alex for a moment before turning to Alexis and Sandra. “We should have a group meeting about this. Alex can you wait outside the door?” The brunette nodded and walked out the door, closing it behind him.
The second Alex left Eric jumped on Alexis’s case. “Who is this nobody? Seriously did you just pick him up off the street or something?”
Alexis’s face turned red instantly. “What the hell is your problem? He’s been here for less than a minute and you’re already attacking him?”
“Who is he?” Eric demanded, setting his bass on a stand.
“He’s Alex. I met him on the airplane coming back from Montana. He just moved here. I’ve heard him sing and play that guitar and he’s good, so I figured I’d bring him here.”
Danny put a hand on Eric’s shoulder and shook his head. “Seriously man what gives? We need a lead singer and guitarist. If Alexis says he’s good I’d want him in. What about you Tom?” The slick haired man held up a thumb up in agreement. Danni also nodded in agreement. Mizuka remained silent but was glaring at Eric, a sure sign she was with the rest of the group on the decision.
Sandra sighed deeply, putting her hands to her hips. “I don’t get you Eric. You complained about us needing a lead singer and a guitarist and now when one shows up you don’t like him?”
“I have a weird feeling about him,” was his excuse. Still by everyone’s glare he could tell it was a losing battle. “Fine he’s in. Let’s hope he’s as good as you say he is.
Alexis smiled again and opened the door, letting Alex inside. “You’re in! Welcome to the band!” The others all smiled save for Eric who returned to his chair.

After getting to know each other a little better the group began to goof around like friends. Eric pulled Alexis aside and talked to her in a quiet voice.
“Hey I’m sorry about being rude about him joining. That was stupid of me.”
“You got that right.”
He pouted but smiled quickly. “Anyway I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after practice?”
Alexis shook her head and looked towards Alex. “Sorry I can’t. I’m heading over to his mom’s house to pick up his things with him. He’s my roommate.”
Eric’s jaw dropped for a moment. He looked back and forth between the two then stormed out the loft. Everyone became quiet.
Sandra looked over curiously. “What happened?”
Alexis shrugged and sat with the group. “I dunno. I told him Alex was moving in with me and he left.”
Tom shook his greasy head and laughed. “Jealous.”

Money
005

“Alexis? Alex? We have a problem can you open up?” Sandra’s voice entered the apartment. Alex opened the door while rubbing his eyes.
“Sandra what could be so important that you are bothering me at 11:54 in the morning?” She pushed him aside and entered the apartment as if trying to find the words to explain. Alex just shrugged. “Hey nice to see you too. Come on in I can make some coffee.” He rolled his eyes and shut the door, turning to see her still thinking. “Something buggin you,” he said passing her by as he went towards the kitchen.
“Someone’s trying to buy the record studio!” Alex stopped in his tracks and turned sharply to face her. He bit his lip, hoping he hadn’t heard what she said. Sadly he did.
“If we don’t have the money by tomorrow,’ she started but couldn’t finish. They all had been working so hard to get the studio even before Alex came along. Now they had no chance of getting it.
Alex racked his brain for a moment. Alexis opened the door and entered the apartment to see the two thinking. She set down her purse. “What’s going on you two? Something wrong? Oh and Dylan put a shirt on. Your good lookin yes but we don’t want to look at your body all day.” She giggled but he shook his head.
“Alexis someone’s trying to buy the studio. How much do we still need Sandra?”
“A couple hundred dollars still.”
Alexis thought quickly and simply shrugged. “Alex you can just borrow money from your stepfather.” She noticed his expression change to one she had seen when she had first met him. Even Sandra noticed the irritation radiate off of him.
The redhead continued to push the matter though. “Don’t get angry. Look you can always pay him back.”
Alex slid a t-shirt over his head, shaking his head. “I’m not giving that soulless jackass any reason to hold onto me. The second I borrow money from him, he will hold it against me my whole life. Let’s get the band together.”
“Why?” Sandra asked.
“I have an idea of course.”

“Alex, are you sure this will work?” Alexis’s hair whipped around her face along with the rest of the bands’. Lake Michigan lay behind them as they unloaded their cars. Alex, along with Danny, began setting up their instruments when she asked. He had a broad smile set across his face.
“I am telling you, we can make enough with this. Where’s Eric?” As he asked, the shaggy haired young man exited out of an old, beaten truck. He pulled his bass from the back seat and flipped his hair.
Alex and Eric stared at each other for a moment before Danni finally broke the ice. “So Alex, are we ready?” The whole band turned to him. Alex’s new, adopted smile answered the question. Danny picked up his guitar and began strumming it gently. Danni giggled lightly and picked up two maracas off the ground.
Alex laughed loudly, drawing some attention to the band. He pulled his guitar over his shoulders and began to sing. His voice rang out around them all.

My head is stuck in the clouds
She begs me to come down
Says, "Boy, quit foolin' around"
I told her, "I love the view from up here
Warm sun and wind in my ear
We'll watch the world from above
As it turns to the rhythm of love"

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine
All mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love

Alexis smiled his way. Even now people were throwing cash into the open guitar and bass cases. Not change, but whole dollar bills. She couldn’t how successful it was already. Alex was surely an amazing guy.

My heart beats like a drum
A guitar string to the strum
A beautiful song to be sung
She's got blue eyes deep like the sea
That roll back when she's laughing at me
She rises up like the tide
The moment her lips meet mine

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine
All mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love

People began to crowd around the band. Every member seemed to be smiling, even Eric. The cases filled rapidly but no one was paying attention to it. They were so drawn into the music they forgot about the money, the studio, even life in general. They finally acted like a band.

When the moon is low
We can dance in slow motion
And all your tears will subside
All your tears will dry

And long after I've gone
You'll still be humming along
And I will keep you in my mind
The way you make love so fine

Alexis watched Alex strum his guitar. Everyone there was drawn to his voice. It was like his words cast a spell over them all. It was amazing how she couldn’t stop watching him. The words flowed from his mouth like water down a water fall. The beauty in his words struck her heart like no other. She couldn’t help but wonder what she was feeling.

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine
All mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love
Yeah, sway to the rhythm of love

The crowd clapped, breaking the spell around them all. Still they all laughed and smiled. Eric held a thumb up to Alex. Both Danni and Danny hugged each other and Tom and Mizuka kissed silently in the background. Alexis watched Alex shaking hands with some fans. She noticed all the cases were full of cash and that the crowd was much larger than she thought. From all the bathing suits she figured people from the beach must have heard them.
“Hey you guys ready to go get our studio?” The band surrounded Alex, patting him on the back. The cases were thrown into Sandra’s car and she took off to get their new studio. A girl tapped on Alex’s shoulder. She was a girl his age with long blonde hair. Her bikini was just enough to cover her bust. Danny, Eric, and Tom hooted but Alexis looked away, furious for some odd reason.
“Can you sign my bikini top!?” She bounced up and down excitedly making Alex blush. He pulled a sharpie from his pocket and quickly signed it, embarrassed. The girl looked down at it then looked back up at him. “How about a number. You’re really cute.”
Alex shook his head and wrote his number as well. The girl bounced up one last time before leaving. He couldn’t help but laugh. Alexis however, couldn’t believe he just did that. Why did she car though?

I still can't believe you're actually making the prompts work for the story. I can't waiting for more...
