Kolli continued on galloping as far and fast as he could for as long as he could. How long had he been going now? How far back had the hoof beats behind him stopped? Was it safe for him stop now or should he continue to keep on going? Figuring he would be safe enough for now, the stallion slowed his gallop to a slow trot and surveyed the area around him. Off to the east he could see what appeared to be a wooded area. Would he be safe there? How far would the stallion chase him? Honestly, Kolli didn't think that the stallion would have bothered chasing after him for very long. Not after he stuck his neck out to allow him to leave.

Deciding against the forest, the stallion continued on straight ahead. The land here didn't look to be very friendly, but it did appear to be a bit rockier. Perhaps he could gain some height and survey the area a bit better? Typically Mountains and hills seemed to be particularly good for that sort of thing. If he could just get a good view he could figure out where to go next. Perhaps he would even run into some one who could tell him more about his mother. If he was particularly lucky he might even run into her. However lucky he may have been up until now, he doubted that would be the case. Direction set, the stallion continued forward once more.

Things had been looking up, even if the road had a few bumps here and there. With her new ward continuing through training, proving himself to be not as worthless as she had originally expected him to be She-Ra was finding her days going by quickly. Agave was relatively quick to learn, and when he made mistakes, a solid beating got him to focus once more until the days lessons were done. Today she had already finished with their lessons and sent him back to his nanny. Though she was certain the mare was filling his head with things that he need never know, and she would need to put a stop to that soon enough. With a bit of free time before she was needed once more She-Ra busied herself with a patrol. As usual she expected things to be quiet. But it seemed today held a surprise in store.

Off in the distance movement cause her eye. It took but a second for her to realize they had an intruder on the Masters lands. That pelt color did not match any of those few who lived here. And he was walking up the mountain like he owned the place. This was her Masters land, and anyone caught on it was either captured or killed. The mountain was her domain as well, she knew the paths well, knew which trail to take to get ahead of him without being seen. She would stop this intruder before he made it to the top and either capture him for her Master or dispose of the filth. At a quick trot She-Ra picked her way over the rocky path and came up upon the stallion. Because she knew her looks belied her true self she would use the 'friendly' approach at first, knowing most were far too trusting, and should that fail then she would turn to violence. "Don't get many strangers around here. Are you lost?"

Kolli had continued on along the rocky path lost within his thoughts. Indeed, he had been so engrossed in them, that he had simply failed to notice the stranger who snuck up on him. Startled by the intrusion, the stallion raised his head an looked about in search of the mysterious voice. Eyes landing upon the stranger, the stallion stopped and studied her for a moment. Who then was this mare? And where had she come from? This land didn't appear to be particularly liveable, but neither did she look to be a simple traveler passing through either. Kolli decided that it would be best to keep his guard up.

"Oh why hello there." He said, taking on a nice sweet and nonthreatening voice. "Not particularly." He responded to the mare, just realizing that she had actually asked him a question. "I'm simply looking for my mother. I don't suppose that you've seen her have you? No I suppose you wouldn't have. I just figured that if perhaps I could get to the top of this mountain, I might be able to get a good look of the land. Perhaps that will lead to some sort of clue as to where she might be. I apologize if I've intruded any, I was simply just passing though." He continued on for another moment before pausing. If he said much more the mare might think he was rambling and hiding something.

She-Ra nearly gagged at the idea of a full grown stallion looking for his mother. Why did an adult need to search out their parent? Other than perhaps to destroy them, but no she didn't think that this stallion was looking for the mare for that reason. It took a moment for her to swallow a number of comments about him being a pansy momma's boy before she could speak. Plus the cheery tone of his voice absolutely disgusted her. "Well as I said before, we don't get many strangers passing through these parts." And, if by chance this stallions mother had passed through there was a very good chance she was either already added to the number of slaves that were kept or had been digested by her Master or Pirata's spiders. Probably best to keep that little detail to herself for the moment.

"And to be honest, I can't tell you if I have seen her without knowing what she looks like. We may not see many strangers here but I know what each one looked like." Most were dead and gone, and those who weren't would be eventually. Actually come to think of it being able to tell this stallion that his mother was consumed by a vicious Skinwalker who in turn was her Master would be a bright side to the day. After a few moments pause she continued. "These lands are claimed..." Claimed by a powerful Master, she added mentally. "Let me show you to the top. If you truly wish to look upon nothing." With a motion of her muzzle She-Ra began to lead the way up the path, she knew which trails led where and if she so chose could easily lead the stallion into danger, but for the moment she played along, pretending to care and be helpful. In time he would see her true colors.

Now then, that was more like it. The stallion thought to himself. At least some Soquili were still hospitable, even all the way out here. Kolli's thoughts flashed back to Brutus and the net, the stallion let out a little shiver at the thought and quickly followed after the strangely dressed mare. "I wish I could tell you what she looks like, but to be honest I have no idea. I've only just learned her name, Zarita, even though I don't suppose that would help?" He continued on talking as he followed the mare.

While the pair walked, Kolli took the time to study his surroundings and to give the mare a bit of peace for a few minutes. He supposed that when you lived all alone out here in the middle of nowhere, having a strange stallion come along and break your quiet atmosphere might be something of an annoyance. Or perhaps it was a relief? Unsure of whether the mare would enjoy a bit of a chat, the stallion tested the waters a little, looking to see if she actually felt like talking. "My name's Kolli." He started off. "I figure I ought to have said it a bit sooner but better late than never eh?" The stallion flashed a pleasant grin at the mare. "Now then, You must have a name too?" He asked her expectantly.

She-Ra nodded her head as the stallion spoke, best to make him think she was listening and interested when really in her mind all she heard was 'blah blah blah'. She didn't care about this stallion mother or whatever else he was talking about, all she wanted to do was gain his trust enough to capture him and add him to the slave pool. Wouldn't Pirata be happy to see yet another minion added to their horde? Granted slaves weren't as impressive as soldiers but like it or not slaves did have a purpose and with the way they kept dying off She-Ra had to make sure to continually restock their supply. "Well...I would imagine she would look somewhat like you in a way. Children tend to look like their parents even in the slimmest of ways." Then, when he mentioned his mothers name she looked up at him suddenly. "Zarita? Why does that name sound so familiar?" She said, brow furrowing in thought as she gazed out at the land. If he thought she knew something about his mother than chances were he would follow her deeper into the area allowing her to herd him in the with other slaves

The thought 'I don't care what your stupid name is' popped into her head. Honestly slaves didn't get the luxury of keeping their names, they went by whatever she or Pirata decided to call them. But it was too early to have that happen so she slowly turned her gaze from the lands as they walked to look over at him again. "She-Ra."

Kolli nodded in agreement as the mare spoke. He did suppose that his mother would have to look like him to some extent. Although he had certainly seen many soquili who had been related and yet they hardly looked alike. At least it was a place to start, and it was certainly more than he had had to go off of before. He would have given up on the hope of finding her here untile the mare recognized her name.

"Do you suppose she's come this way before?" He asked hopefully. As far as he was aware, Zarita wasn't an entirely common name. If this She-ra knew of a Zarita he would indeed be lucky. Perhaps his search might even be closer to an end then he had anticipated. Kolli tried to force himself to push down the excitement that was bubbling up within him. Just because the mare recognized the name did not mean that she knew of his mother. He had to remember to keep his cool and think things through before he got worked up over them. Besides, what would he even say to his mother if he found her? Would she even want to see him? She did toss him away after all didn't she? Perhaps reuniting with his mother might not be the happy occasion he had imagined as a foal. Yet still, he had to try, he had to know. One way or the other.
