UPDATE! JOIN US IN MINECRAFTIA!OKAY EVERYONE! A few of us play minecraft, so it's about time we got something organised >O Now, setting up a (stable) server for Minecraft is harder than it should be, as Mab has recently found I think. But I've been playing multiplayer ever since I first got the game, because me and Doc_Silverblade got into the game together. Mine is based on Hamachi, which is part of what makes it so stable, but it does mean that you have to download Hamachi and then sign into the hamachi server to be able to connect. Also my Hamachi server is password protected, so I'll send the name and password to everyone taking part if we decide to use mine. The disadvantage of my server is that it definitely won't be up all the time, but you know, I know when you guys are on anyway, so when we want to play I can just put it up no problem. What do you guys think? ALSO, what do we wanna do when we play? Do we have a goal, or are we just gonna do and build whatever? =D Any particular biomes we wanna play in/start in?

I was trying out different maps and seeds and I found this REALLY EPIC ONE. (The seed was TeamRocketGirl17 ;D)
So I took it onto the server and started building a little base camp for when we all start playing together. But in typical me fashion, I might've gone a little overboard.
Let's just say it went from "a wooden shack will do" to "THE FRONT YARD NEEDS A FOUNTAIN"

On the subject of Minecraftia, the server I managed to get working has PLUGINS. So that we can DO STUFF. And I (think) I can turn off creeper damage! Huzzah!
But in all honesty, the server works fine on my house's LAN, but I am unsure if there will be a bunch of Connection Timeout errors from other places. If you want to be a part of the connection testing, the server will be up at 74.36.10.200.
@Lorika: Not to rain on any parades....but the one time I tried Hamachi to get into a minecraft server, I experienced crippling amounts of lag. If the raw-IP method fails, though, I'll probably end up getting it again.

That's okay! It doesn't matter which one we end up using - I can just email you the map folder =] I REALLY do like this map. It has this epic natural underground ravine like I saw with Kyle on the other map right next to the spawn, omg

I'm a hugeee minecraft fan. ^o^ Its amazingly fun. I'm also making lots of minecraft things 'cause I'm crafty like that.

Bardic Inspiration I'm a hugeee minecraft fan. ^o^ Its amazingly fun. I'm also making lots of minecraft things 'cause I'm crafty like that. Minecraft is fabulous. It IS!! What do you like to make and build? :3 I find I actually like to stay inside and do householdy things, like tend animals and crops... cook... and do alchemy. I mainly play with my friend and he, meanwhile, always heads off and makes weird contraptions or blows things up. It's weird... I end up like a housewife always working inside while he goofs off, LMAO sweatdrop

XD But I've hardly met anyone else who's heard of it, let alone played it. Hee hee. I crochet actually. But I've been doing it for...about 5ish years now, mebbe closer to 7... I don't remember exactly when I started. OH LORD. I COSPLAY from all the fatal frames! I have Miku from 1, Sae from 2 and I cosplay Reika from 3. Working on one from 4 too. Fatal Frame 2 is my favoriteeee. I love HG and VtM too! ^o^

The promised update:
I am at a loss. No matter what I attempt, the computers HERE will not connect to the server THERE, and in fact, the only indication that the THERE computer exists is the fact that I can control it remotely over the Internet. To add insult to the injury, I fired up the server on HERE-computer and opened Minecraft on THERE computer. Typed in the address. Connected INSTANTLY. Zero problems.
What the hell, Internet?
