The original plan I had for the 2012 Round Robins has fallen through the cracks, but I believe that with all of these new members, we can reconfigure the contest and allow it to prosper as I had originally hoped.

For those of you who do not know, a Round Robin Competition is one where each member faces each other member at least once. So if we had five people, there would be ten matches if each player went up against each other player once. Well, our once small guild of ten members, in the past three months, has increased its size by almost twelve times, so there are going to be a lot more matches than just ten if more people decide to join the competition. Here's how it will work.

I will set up a tournament, but its a tournament where no one is eliminated. I'll set up the matches, and there will be one match per week, and that week will have a genre of some sort. Science Fiction, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, etc. If enough members join, we may have to redo some of the genres.

Because of the fact that I am quite poor, the prizes will be kind of minuscule this year. First prize will be fifteen thousand gold, second will be ten thousand, and third will get five thousand gold. For older members, there was an announcement regarding AllWritersUnitedMule, a member who I made for people to donate gold to for competitions like this. If enough donations are given, I will certainly increase the prize for the top three winners.

Scoring will be simple. A judge from a different match will score each story and the winner gets a point. Everyone will be a judge at some point. If needed, people who didn't join will be asked to judge pieces of writing.
