Background: He was born on the streets and had to learn how to fend for himself, training himself how to change into a weapon. The person he called his father took him in; his name was Steve. One day while Steve was walking home from his job, he was murdered by a Kishin. Thomas saw the whole thing. It was the worst thing he had ever seen. The kishin ripped Steve into two pieces. Afterwards, Thomas inrolled in the school to find a meister and become stronger to defeat as many Kishin's as he can. He doesn't even care about becomeing a death scythe.
