Caxca is a very large city nestled in the center of the continent. The city has four distinct districts, and each community has their own unique characteristics.
Xus District .:. The home of the poor, the misfits, and the outcasts. This district has a high mortality rate simply because of the poor maintenance on their buildings. It is the smallest and least protected district of Caxca. Still, it is much better than living outside of Caxca's boundaries.
Tchol District .:. The people living in this district tend to be very artistic or spiritual. They live modest lives, but some are just on the edge of poverty.
Kreir District .:. Home of the hardworking, and the heart of Caxca's healthy economy. It is full of inudstries and businesses who produce products that make Caxca thrive. It is the largest district, and the people's individual status can range anywhere from poor to wealthy.
Qav District .:. Home of the city's most valued scientists, politicians, and celebrities. It is the most wealthy and protected district in Caxca.
.:The People:.
Appearance .:. It is common for the wealthy people of society to show off their status with their appearance. The world of cosmetics has advanced so much that with a little money, you could look virtually however you like. You can flawlessly change the color of your eyes and the color/texture of your hair. Fluorescent or color-changing tattoos are increasingly popular for those who can afford it. It's not difficult to determine who's wealthy and who's not when the rich folks can redesign themselves to a tee.
.:Available Jobs:.
Caxca has a wide variety of job opportunities for its citizens. Lawyers, waiters, nurses, teachers, politicians, sales clerks, etc. But aside from your typical every-day jobs, there are certain things around Caxca that need to be done... Things that only the professionals can handle.
Inventors/scientists .:. Caxca is the world's most advanced city. But, how did it get that way? Businesses and consumers depend on these people for their techno fix. If they're good at what they do, they can certainly rake in the money.
Storm Maintenance .:. Post-storm clean-up is not a pretty job. These people are largely under appreciated and underpaid for the grueling work they do to keep the city looking clean and undamaged after a storm. The work they do includes repairing public property, clearing out debris... as well as the bodies of unfortunate souls who were caught outside when the sky turned black.
Storm Chasers .:. It is widely considered the most foolish career choice ever, but these daring meteorologists are necessary to understand the Super Storm's patterns and behavior. They travel outside of the city to observe the weather, and typically have amazingly short lifespans.
Cosmetic Surgeons .:. The upper class people of Caxca can certainly look bizarre... who do you think is responsible for that? Cosmetic Surgeons are considered artists and doctors, and are paid handsomely for their work.
