You didn't miss much.... it was another Forum based event. You had to collect over 1500 different colored grunnies to redeem for the items. You had to sit around threads and either just refresh the page over and over again waiting for the damned easter bunny to show up and hope that he was leaving a grunny and that you could quote him fast enough to grab one.
Then you had to use the flash program which kept lagging or didn't work at all to bash grunnies to get the rarer colors only available in the flash program. But the problem there was.1) grunnies had to be bashed several times to collect 2) grunnies more often than not stayed too close to the edge of the screen so you couldn't bash at all or more than 1 time and 3) even if you did bash them enough they either didn't show up in your collective or you might not get the right colored one that you actually "captured". Wonderful programming on that one. And it was f--ked up from the git-go....
I gave it the good old college try- I spent 8 f--king hours in a row doing their f--king event (with an occasional break so as not to go totally insane from the boredom, ineptitude of the programming design and lack of grunnies) on day one . And today, I tried again off and on for 4 hours. My reward... 211 grunnies, and 1, that's right 1 of those from the flash program after 17 attempts to use it the f--king program that doesn't work right. And people, I am damned good at games- all kinds of video games! Flash sucks! When will this site ever do it right?
Oh, I did figure out you can cheat a little and keep quoting that tin rabbit over and over for about 4 minutes, once it does show up, but OMFG! Why should we have to do that?
BRING BACK COLLECTING IN SHOPS, GIVE US BACK SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE SPENDING ALL OUR TIME IN THE FORUMS
AND YES, I AM F--KING PISSED AND I COMPLAINED IN SITE FEEDBACK! But you know forum dwelling rats (Sorry GT and Epiphany, I know you dwell there at lot) but OMG, they think that Gaia is only for Forums. They forget about the rest of the site!

And do you know how I know they don't have to do it this way... Take a look at the Adventure time event- it was done in their forum and on the landing pages. And you got a prize with 5 f--king swords. And they have done with other things too. So, if they can do it in a short period of time for Sponsored events...they sure as hell can do it for events where they have months to develop it properly!
