Willow had been admiring the architect of the clan. Conquest's Island had stolen her heart, almost. The tiger eventually found herself in the grand shrine staring in aw at the carvings and the Imperial majesty. It wasn't every day you got to stand in something as beautiful as this.

Her tail was idly flickering as she took in all that there was of the temple; of course, she almost missed a ghoul she knew from having been so fascinated with the temple itself. "Mei?" She looked curiously at the ghoul. Wondering if Mei even recognized her.

With class done and over with for the day, Mei took the chance to explore the place a bit more. Out of all the places she had been to in her time, this place was probably the best she had been to. So much detail went into every section of this clan, it was amazing really. It was a shame that she couldn't spend both weeks in this clan. She could have gotten used to this.

Coming across the grand shrine, Mei spotted someone familiar further ahead of her. Pausing in her steps, Mei tapped her finger against her chin in thought, before letting her hand fall back to her side. Of course! How could she not recognize her before? Maybe it was the fur colour? It was lighter than before. But it was Willow! She had only spoken to her a few times, but she liked the ghoul. She was someone she felt she could get along with, maybe even be good friends.

Hearing her own named called out to her, the doll smiled and waved in response. "Hey, Willow!" Striding towards her, she gave her a small hug in greeting. "I almost didn't recognize you! How are you doing?"

Willow smiled at Mei and chuckled, "Same thing happened with Bul."

Her tail flickered, "I'm doing okay, having to deal with nightmares." She sighed as she stretched, "Good thing I don't really need to sleep gives me more time explore."

"How about you, how've you been?" Willow returned the hug with a smile.

Mei chuckled as the ghoul mentioned Bul not recognizing her either. It was surprising that a little colour change could throw them off so easily. No matter, Mei would no doubt keep an eye out for any colour changes in future.

Moving to stand by the ghoul, the doll stretched out her limbs, taking a seat close by. She wasn't tired or anything, she would rather just sit for the time being.

"Nightmares?" Mei could relate. She had been having some pretty freaky dreams as of late. And it didn't help with all the recent events. If they kept up, she was sure she would be driven to insanity. Well..that was to say, if people didn't keep her from getting there. It was thanks to Bul, and her friends that she was able to keep going without freaking out every day. "Do you want to talk about them?"

Pausing, Mei smiled and shrugged. "Eh, okay I guess. Things have been a lot more crazy than I had imagined it would be when I joined amityville. But I'm starting to deal with it--I hope. But its mainly why I signed up for this exchange. I thought it would be a nice break from Amityville. Its just a shame Bul didn't tag along." She sighed, propping her chin upon her hand. "But, I don't blame him for wanting to take a break either. Its not like he's been having it easy either."

Willow nodded when Mei asked about nightmares. Though she paused when she was asked if she wanted to talk about them. There was a glance around the pavilion. "I think it'd be best not to talk about such things here. Despite being away from school, I'm not sure how well they appreciate... certain uh... topics."

Willow's ears were twitching as she looked around slightly nervous. Hunters weren't a thing she was willing to talk about outside domains she knew to be safe. Being on the isle of conquest she didn't want to take chances. "Perhaps when we get back to school we can take a ghoul's night and just have some fun for a change."

Willow nodded, "Same, I told Bul it must be driving me to whiten early, since apparently that usually only happens around 500 years." She chuckled and shrugged. Her tail flickered, "Yeah it has been a nice break so far. Sans trying to keep everyone else from humiliating us."

There was a another pause before nodding her head, "Yeah, I tried to ask if he'd mind checking on my minipets while we were gone, "Can't blame anyone for wanting a break or hole up somewhere for a few days and not be seen. Though..." Willow paused, "It probably didn't help he knocked me out when I'd asked him if he could show me a few pointers in the gym."

Taking note of the ghoul's uneasiness, Mei figured it was best not to pry, and left it at that. Besides, she had a point. Maybe some topics were best left in amityville. She wasn't sure what all went on here, or how the clans members would act to the talk of hunters. For now, she didn't wish to find out. "Er..right." Rubbing the back of her head, she looked back to the ghoul. "We can talk about it another time."

Smiling at the suggestion of a 'ghoul's night', Mei couldn't help but nod her head in approval. She had very little time to sit back and relax as of late, so the idea of Willow's was more than welcomed. "Sounds like a plan to me!" Maybe they could even have a few other of their friends tag along for that. Eh, they would get to that when the time came.

"Really?" Mei blinked, amazed to here how long it would take for a colour change like hers. "And how old are you now?" she paused, before waving her hands in front of her. "Er--if you don't mind me asking that is." Smiling weakly, the doll mentally smacked herself on the head. It wasn't polite to ask someone their age--she knew this--yet she blurted it out anyways. Still..to live for five hundred years, or longer even. That must be amazing. Having been created, Mei was still fairly new to the world.

Rubbing at her neck, the doll nodded. "Thankfully, Fell was willing to keep an eye on my minipets." She was sure that if she had asked Bul to look after them, he would. But with all that he had gone through as well, she didn't want to burden him with chores when this was probably the most free time he would have in ages. "Wait--what?" Blinking at the ghoul, she almost had to shake the thoughts in her head. "Knocked you out?" Did she mean a spar?

Willow nodded, her eyes watching clans members as they walked pass. "Yes, when we're back home." There was a smile as Mei agreed to a Ghoul's night. "Great!"

She nodded and chuckled when Mei kind of fumbled, "I'll be 16 soon. Most Byakko's don't leave their territory though, so being out in Halloween and going to Amity may be a vast difference than learning from elders. The uh... stress level is also quite different." Willow didn't mind a bit, "It's an honor really, something of a symbol of being 'wise'. Though I always thought turning white was a bit of a myth. I rarely saw any of the others but when I did most of them hadn't turned. Being as my kind are, we rarely gather in large groups and you never bother the elders type deal, and you can tell who's an elder because they are lighter. I never really spoke to anyone though, I was much too intent on staying away from the crowd" She sighed softly as she thought about it.

"It's probably why mother sent me to Amity to start with. Seclusion's okay but to take it to a level where you refuse to be around anyone else, had her worried." Willow shrugged as if she saw nothing wrong with it. She still hated large crowds, even though it wouldn't be long before she'd been at Amity a year.

She nodded, "Well I left them food out that wouldn't spoil hopefully someone drops by and at least makes sure they don't wreak the place." There was a chuckle and a shrug, "If I'd thought about it I would've found someone to check on them once in a while a bit sooner."

She paused, oh Bul hadn't told her about that? "Haha... I uh... well Demi said I could use some training, because I'm a bit clumsy when it comes to fighting in my student form. Use to having four feet on the ground, not two. And I caught Bul training a few days after the trial and asked if he'd help me. Well, I think we got a little carried away both of us were kinda beaten up and then he knocked me. I know he did mean to, it was just a headbutt but he's pretty strong." Willow grinned slightly uneasy hoping Mei wouldn't be mad. "I learned a few things though, which was the whole point."

Nodding, she left the conversation at that, and moved to the next topic. "Really? So your really young for your race then?" That was a less harmful question than really asking the age--or so she hoped. Eh, she was no good at small talk anyways. There was really no use fretting over what she said. Unless of course, it was obviously rude. "That's pretty cool then. To be wiser than most your age in your clan. I guess amityville does have some good perks, aside from getting our asses constantly handed to us." She grinned.

Shrugging, she stood from where she had been sitting. "That's not necessarily a bad thing though. I'm not one for crowds either, so.." She shrugged again, turning to face the ghoul. "As long as you can get through what you need to, I say who cares if your not sociable! But, its good to have friends. They help you get through a lot."

Mei nearly cringed at the thought of minipets causing terror in her dorm. Tearing up everything, eating everything, messing everywhere..the doll shuddered at the thought. Thank Jack Fell had agreed to watch them for her. "Yeah.."

When Willow described the spar, she couldn't help but snicker lightly at the image in her head. But damn..getting knocked out with a headbutt..that had to have hurt. If it had been her, she was sure her face would have caved in or something. That was never fun to regenerate. "Ow.." She answered, rubbing her own head out of sympathy pain. "Well, aside from getting knocked out like that, I'm glad he was able to help you with training."

(( we might need to wrap this up soon, in case new weeks start soon. ))

Willow nodded and shrugged, "It would appear that way. Perhaps not the way they want but like they say, beggers can't be choosers." Her tail flickered, "Maybe we learn more if we get our asses handed to us?" The tiger seemed thoughtful on this, it was at least possible.

"Of course, I think the haunted house was the first place I really made any friends, and then meet you afterwords." She smiled.

There was another nod in agreement, "Yeah, it wasn't pleasant at least, good thing he had such a hard head I suppose." The tigress laughed, "Where are you going after this week is up?" She asked curiously, looking towards the bits of sky they could see to try and gauge what time it was.

"True, very true." The doll smiled, brushing a pesky strand of hair from her face, and neatly tucking it behind her ear. "I guess we do learn from our mistakes." she sighed, thinking back to how many times she had got her a** whooped by a hunter or some other kind of enemy. One too many times, but she had become stronger since. Willow was right about that.

"Really?" Mei blinked at the ghoul. She hadn't really made too many friends, until the beginning of the second school year. She was too much of a brat, and making more enemies then friends at the time. Thankfully, that had changed. She had grown up some. "And I'm glad you did." She added with a smile.

Snickering again, Mei folded her arms over her chest. "Umm.." Which had class had she signed up for again..? Oh--right. "I'm going to be heading off to the War clan after this. Mainly because..well..I stink in battle. Figured that if anyone could whip me into shape for fighting, it might be them." Smiling uneasily, she looked back to Willow again. "What about you?"

"Well I made a few at the open house, but I hadn't seen them until the trials." She paused, "It was weird though...."

She chuckled, "I'm glad I did too, dunno if I'd be able to handle a constant beating without them."

Willow nodded, "Ah, I'm going over to Death actually." Her tail flickered, "They mentioned jewel crafting for the first week but the incense sounded more... my pace but it seemed like a good second choice. I was thinking about war but then I decided maybe not..."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 08, 2012 11:45 am

It had been a while since the open house. Before Fell had had enrolled even. "Weird?" Unsure of what the ghoul meant by that, she waited for a better explanation.

Laughing, Mei knew, that if she didn't have friends herself, she probably would have packed up and headed home long ago. "Yeah. It would be harder. That's for sure." The thought made her feel for anyone who didn't have a good relationship with friends. It was depressing really.

"Oh? Hey, you'll probably bump into Tybalt then! His second week is with the death clan." Snickering, she tapped at the ground lightly with the heel of her boot. "When, and if you see him, give him a punch and say 'Mei says hi!' for me, will ya'?" As for the jewel making--Mei was better at breaking things then making them. So it was probably a wise choice to have avoided the death clan for the first week. "Well, whatever it is your doing over there, I'm sure you'll do really well at it."

"It's like the trials didn't really allow for 'bonding' time. Not like the haunted house had." She answered with a shrug. "So the team to me didn't feel as closely knit."

Willow grinned and nodded, "Certainly would be. I feel bad for new comers though, since they get looked at with a fine tooth comb."

Her tail flickered and she nodded, "Sure.... what's he look like?" Just incase Willow didn't catch his name she could certainly find him from his looks. "I hope so, and I hope it's as interesting as Invicitus' classes as well."

She seemed to think, "Hey you wanna grab a bite to eat?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 08, 2012 1:25 pm

"Ahhh, I see I see." It made sense. When it came to the haunted house, the teams had bonded really well. Well, she was already friends with all but one before hand, but..still. She knew what Willow had meant.

Mei recalled when she was first a new comer to the school. That was definitely a good way to describe the reaction. Fresh meat, was what they were. But after a while, it wasn't so bad. Sort of..

The doll practically snorted at the question. "He's not hard to find. He's all black, save for the blue glowing eye's. He also has that shark tooth like grin." Out of all the students, Tybalt was probably the easiest to spot in the crowd. Well, not like students like Maladore, or G, but still easy enough. "Yes." She was a little nervous over what was to happen over at War's clan. She was sure that she would bomb in the class. Oh well.

Chuckling again, Mei looked back to Willow. "I don't eat, but I'll tag along, sure."

Willow nodded, listening to Mei taking mental notes when she described Tybalt. "I'll make sure he receives a nice hard punch." Willow winked as she grinned, he certainly sounded easy enough to find.

"Mm sometimes I just like the taste of food." She admitted as she gave a toothy grin. "Keeps me from chewing on things I shouldn't." She nodded and headed out the temple with Mei.
