After the class was over, Mitzi was not entirely sure about taking the elevator back down... but as it was the only way, she went in with a slightly smaller group, both for the lower weight and so there would be fewer others to see her squirm. Once she reached the bottom, she couldn't find Roch, or Circe, or Whisper, and before she could think too much about it, she started walking.
The one thing she had really enjoyed all day had been the obstacle course, and so she headed for the edge of the treetop city to try to find the same one, or another. She really didn't care, she just would feel a lot better knowing there were nets under her.

It didn't take her long to find another obstacle course. They seemed to be all over on the island, which at least meant there would be plenty she could do at the times when her friends were busy. She started straight onto it, and her nervousness decreased exponentially as soon as she could see the netting below. Any fall would be from an entirely manageable height.
This time the tricky bridges were fairly early on, and Mitzi tried to cross quickly enough to pass them. But unfortunately she must have been moving too quickly. Instead of the bridge breaking on her, it started to sway more and more wildly, the wind causing it to escalate even once the ghoul tried to slow down and wait for it to stop. Before long it flipped over entirely, dumping her onto the nets below.

Once she got back up onto the obstacle course, she continued along the way, doing fairly well. She did have a few traps that almost caught her, and she briefly found herself tangled in some webbing, but she managed to get free and continue on. At least until, while trying to maneuver past a particularly tricky part, she suddenly found a group of spears trapping her in.
She really ought to have remembered the spears; she'd seen them catch Roch, and from what he'd said he'd been having trouble with them before. Both of her sleeves were caught, and the sharpened points were dangerously close to her skin in other places; it was going to take some work to maneuver her way free, especially as she was not willing to just tug until her sleeves ripped.

By the time she managed to free herself, she was feeling fairly exhausted, and ready to head back. She still needed to find out when and where they were supposed to eat, as well, as her stomach promptly reminded her. So she worked her way back to the start of the course, more successfully this time as she already knew where many of the traps were, and started back into the village.
Now if only she could safely find her way...

Mitzi found herself in front of a course she remembered running the day before, and hadn't had the best of luck with. She decided to take another crack at it, and see if she could do better than last time.

Really, these bridges seemed to be the bane of Mitzi's, uh, obstacle course running? Once again she found herself on one, and heard the telltale signs of the rope starting to give way. This time she found it, and grabbed both ends, trying to hold them together. It was only as her arms started to get tired that she realized that this was kind of a pointless exercise. There was no way she would be getting off the bridge while holding it together, and she was rapidly running out of strength.
As the bridge finally collapsed under her, like the others, and she fell down into the nets below, she started to think that maybe she should just avoid the bridges. Of course, easier said than done.

When she reached the same point that had dropped her, this time she decided to climb via the netting instead of the bridge. It turned out not to fare her much better. In fact, the trap she sprung sent her flying off away from the obstacle course. For a moment of panic she thought she'd go clear past the safety nets, and be sent on a very long drop to the forest floor, but it did turn out that a net had been placed specifically for this trap. She bounced in it, just laying there for a while as her heart rate dropped back down to normal.
This particular course still didn't seem to like her. Maybe it would be better to come back later.
