The Library

General setting: The library, like all other structures in the Isle consists of one large open room. Ornate paintings decorate the 'skylight' of the library structure, the ceiling is dome shaped. It is rather dim, other than sparse, yellow lighting, though the walls are crammed full of books. Most of them seem like logs actually, simply stating a simple date. Upon opening the books, they are entirely unreadable, simply filled to the brim with a series of four digit numbers and scrawl in an entirely different language.

OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS:

- When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly.

1-20: You pick up a book, and notice that it has the number1999 on it. Oddly enough, when you open the book up, inside instead of random scrawls, are also strange diagrams. You don't really understand what they mean, as they all the circles in the diagrams are covered in unusual glyph markings. (see below for horsemen point prompt)
- Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!
21 - 40: You take a closer look at the ceiling of the impossibly high library and notice that the paintings, around the corners, take a more morbid sort of tone, as the figures in the paintings seem to shed their skins and turn into skeletons. Okay then....
41 - 60: You notice a clansmember scouring the archives, his arms full of books. He has several books that actually have letters on them, though they simply state "The Teachings of the Path of Death. Boring.
61 - 80: You see a Clans member, entirely covered in a black cloak walk past you: one of the Clans priestesses. She seems to be in a hurry though.
81- 100: You notice at the far end of the library there is a sealed passageway. However, the door seems to be firmly shut, and in fact, made out of solid stone.

He'd been exploring! Well, close to it anyway. Not many places he was allowed to go but to where he could venture, he would. Earwings flicked back and forth as he went down hall, trying in vain to read the titles along the spines. A few he could pick out but not many. Not t mention when he pulled a book down that looked ~fancy~ he opened it up only to be disappointed. No pictures, no story just numbers and funny letters.

Horsemen had a very weird language.

His mood brightened when he spotted a familiar face however, the heir herself. He thought out of many of the heirs, Aisa was the most poised. The pretty one. Invictus was pretty to but in a diffrent way. But Aisa had FEATHERS. This made her super cool in Israfel's mind. Going over, he smiled wings shuffling. "This your home yes? I like it. It's very pretty." Typical Israfel.

A book almost looked like it floated in the heir of Death's hand as her hands scribed further records in the book she had. More mysterious writing appeared on the blank fold of the page before abruptly closing at the voice of a student. The book had far more of a reaction than the heir did, hardly bothering to turn at first to face the student. her hands brushed against the shelf to palce the book back first.

It appeared that these books and this heir was far less welcoming than Conquest. As familiar as Aisa was to others, she kenw very little of Amityville students. But the compliment on her home? She was in a benevolent mood, considering the length of time she had been away from her sweet spirals and cliffs. How she simply loved to sit and perch on the very edge .. it was unfortunate she lacked the time and luxury to do so.

"Your vocabulary is rather meager .. but appropriate." She remarked idly, glancing past Israfel to another book.

"Has Death been satisfying to you?" She referred to the lands. Although the clan did not have high standards for Amytiville .. The students could learn a thing or two.

Whatever she was writing, Israfel wouldn't know, or care much for that matter. He was more wholly focused on the fact that the heir of death was in front of him and oh jack she was pretty and her home was amazing and he really wished he had a feather cape too. One thing at a time however.

"Oh my- Sorry. I tend to um. How did my sister say it..." He had a sudden dazed look before snapping to attention. "Simplify things. Yes." Sitting on the opposite side of her, he fiddled with the rose in his hair. "But yes! I think your home is amazing really! I mean, we're only allowed in certain areas but so far what I've seen it's incredible! I really like all the pretty jewels and outfits but I don't quite understand what they mean yet. But I want to learn! That is why I will be taking the class later!"

"Jewelry-making is a precious art."

That was the end of that topic. Perhaps, Israfel's words were a small reminder for Aisa to ensure an appropriate check-up on her jewels since they must have dulled quite a bit in the proximity of the hunter's island .. Who was teaching the Amityville class?

"Dulled. Ylaria, I believe, isn't it?"

"Don't press the jewelry too hard." Aisa absently told Israfel, her hand brushing against the rose in his hair. Roses were so trite in their sweet and overused manner .. Yet, they were the flowers that one wanted to send when given the note of death. Especially with pearls. Pearls were so very dull as well.

Combined, it had so much more meaning. She started to walk away, with one last nuzzling finger towards the rose. She was a busy heir.
