The Sacred Temple of Nine Dragons The sacred temple is a large open shrine that leads into a deeper section inside, composed of two floors. The first floor is composed entirely of simple wooden engravings along the pillars and walls, the enter area depicts a large wooden carving of what would most likely be the Imperial Majesty of Conquest, sitting nobly on a throne. There are several Clans members kneeling in front of it in reverence. The second floor is composed of an "archives" area, though the scrolls are off limits. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You walk around the first floor and notice how uneven the flooring is. When you look down, you see that each tile has a different engraving on it, with strange characters. They don't seem to do anything when you step on one of the characters/gylphs though. 21- 40: You amble up to the second floor and see walls and walls of rolled up scrolls. You lean in to take a closer look, but is stopped by a Clan member, who shakes their head and pushes you back. 41- 60: You take a look at the giant statue in the center. It is your imagination, or do they kind of look like a certain Heir you know as well? (If you don't know Invictus, this part has no effect on your character) 61- 80: You hear muttering behind you, and catch the words "not returning from the Human World" and "military army group number..." but the rest of it trails off. 81- 100: You notice how elaborate all the decorations are: even the detail in the wooden carvings in the pillar. You look up at the ceiling and realize along with the unique tiles, they are all gilded with delicate gold and jade. It seems this clan spares nothing when it comes to the smallest attention to detail. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! Her home had nothing like a temple. The Conquest Clan was both similar and different to Dev’s pack. While the long, rolling hills that surrounded the city reminded the cu sith of her own hills and grassland back home, the stretches of shallow water and ornate architecture was unfamiliar, but exciting nonetheless. Boots clacked against the bridges, sometimes wandering to the edge to allow Dev a closer look at the aquatic life that flitted beneath the surface. She wanted to step into the ponds so she could grab one of the numerous lotuses floating in the water, but fortunately she knew better.
Tail wagging, Dev grinned and gestured toward the others, her temporary pack. “Let’s go look at thes temple,” she suggested, pointing toward the open shrine. She didn’t wait for them to respond before she spun around and walked right toward it. Her eyes were wide as she tentatively ran a hand over the engravings on the pillars and walls. “Thes place looks pure neat,” she remarked while she paid particular attention to the giant statue in the center. She hummed softly as she scrutinized it. Had she seen it before? Nonsense, this was her first time here.

It was not unfamiliar to him now, the tranquility of the Conquest Isle. He was uncertain though, just how deep it went. Flicking his tail back and forth, Fallow padded after Dev and his new herd, a yawn captured between his teeth as his ears folded back and listened to the sounds all around. What a curious place this was, so far from home. What curious people it had, all holding onto secrets that he was both desperate and not desperate at all to figure out. Hearing the sound of Dev, the Púca's ears perked up, bright neon eyes pulsing with an otherworldly glow at the word "temple."
Following her line of sight to the ornate looking building - then again, everything here seemed ornate, he supposed - the Púca's tail twisted from side to side in wonder, and he opened his mouth to respond only to find that his Cu Sith had already run off.
"Hmmm," Rumbling softly, Fallow picked up a trot and followed the girl, "Dev, devwaithey, Dev -- "
Trotting into the open shrine after her, the horse slowed to a walk, though in his bones he felt a new and reawakened urge to run. "Aaaaaah." He murmured to himself, nipping at his lower lip in a desperate attempt to stay the urge and control his impulsive streak. Back home he ran every day, breaking and leaping and racing and creating chaos that would not be welcome here. So he tried not to welcome it either, which was so very hard when one considered just how much of his life he'd spent without a shred of self-restraint.
Turning his attention to the Cu Sith, he murmured a soft and wordless sound to her before his own attention swiveled around to the engravings on the temple's pillars and walls. He padded around them all, simply inhaling the appearance without striving to find meanings as well. Tracing marks and what he could only assume were tales or stories or words at least without knowing what they meant. His eyes finally turned to the large carving that depicted the Imperial Majesty, ears folding back in instinctual intimidation, even though it was nothing more than an image here.
Instinctually, he took a step backwards, nearer to Dev.
"This place is so very - ahhh - different." He said, though his tone neither indicated dislike nor like, instead carefully balanced somewhere in the middle.
"They seem so very enraptured by their own culture. It seems to have swallowed them whole."
Sighing, Fallow continued his exploration, walking on the balls of his feet as though to silence his comings and goings throughout the shrine. But something felt odd - strange. The Púca glanced down, humming softly to himself and suddenly knelt, though he could ear a sound of sudden disapproval somewhere behind. His fingers pushed outwards from beneath the long sleeves of his shirt, dark skin touching impossibly detailed floor. There were engravings here too - markings that made him thirst for knowledge, want to understand more even though understanding was hard for him sometimes. After all, he'd hated lectures back home, and his father and siblings had constant saw to the use of sawdust in reference to what floated around in his brain. Which in some aspects seemed true, the Púca did indeed enjoy physical activities to sitting around and learning about the universe but...
When an entire culture was laid out before someone in such a fascinating way, he could not be blamed for wanting to know so many things.

There was a spring in her step as she followed dilligently in a faux march after Dev and Fallow, attempting to stay as close to them as possible without kicking the one in front of her. High kick, high kick. She smiled as she continued on but stopped her marching immediately once she laid eyes on the temple before her. Cautiously she approaching, gazing at the vast details of the building in front of her.
Such dignified people the Conquest Clan seemed to have in it, and the temples and structures seemed to depict the same wherever the rabbit went. What a funny bunch. She added internally while her nose twitched. Though there was that deem yearning to respect them, there was still something odd about the entire thing. Odd and lacking of feasting. The Mouryou noted before bounding after their little band. Her lust of feeding hadn't left her, that was for sure. At least exploring was taking her mind of such things.
"Hm, what?" She said, turning back to Dev. "I'd say it's neat. Do you think any these statues are edible?" It was a tease to herself but in good fun. Their voices seemed to echo off while her bright eyes followed a nearby staircase. "Well, culture can do that? Don't you get immersed in your own cultural desires?" Fallow was a bit too far off, maybe so far that he could no longer hear her.
Adrenaline seeped into her and she could contain it no longer. With a bounce and clenching of both hands she bounded up towards the step, towards the unknown and possibly another view of the island or to any other bodies of land lurking far off. "Oooh!" She exclaimed when she finally reached the top. Shaking her head quickly to gaze every which way she stopped as she eyed something... interesting. Or at least, mildly so.
"A library?" She observed, glancing at the airy room with walls and walls of rolled up scrolls. A raspberry escaped her lips and she moved closer to a wall, staring at the scrolls in wonder, yet felt the same boredom of sitting in a library begin to creep over her. "Maybe one has recipes." She mentioned aloud to herself, her body jolting back to attention. It would be so simple to just open one up and check. Carefully she leaned near the nearest set.
Instant disappointment found her while a firm hand moved her back. Her first reaction was to bite for it but she refrained as the disapproving Clan member shook his head at her with a poisonous stare. Clenching her lips together she tore from his contact and she grunted. "Alright alright, I won't get too close." She said with a nod in his direction, turning away.
Maybe one of the others had found something else worth looking at.
