Willow had been moving towards the training field. Her tail flickered softly as she noticed the signs and followed them. Her curiosity was rather high as she found the place rather.... interesting.
She paused looking at each before moving towards a field to see what it entailed.

The training field Willow had entered was the Kumiko field, settling down she looked at the set up. She sat with her legs crossed and hands in her lap as she watched the small demonstration on how to hear the scents.
The tiger's tail flickered softly as she listened to the explanation and how to set each scent. She nodded softly to indicate she understood. This seemed slightly... complex but it couldn't be that bad.
When she was allowed she started with one scent and worked towards the other to see if she could 'hear' what the scents were like.... As she tested and looked at each scent, she double checked the middle ones before guessing 'Sekiya' (Chapter 16, 'The Gatehouse')
The tigress looked up at the Horsemen that was running the challenge to see if she was correct. Ears perked up in a hopeful manner.

[Numbers: 2 5 1 5 5 ] The Clan member looked at Willow's attempt and then looked a little disappointed, she had a block in the wrong place, it was suppose to be 'Miotsukushi' (Chapter 14, 'Channel Buoys'). She had the idea though it seemed... Quote: If you matched the wrong pattern, but there was an existing pattern, take 1 point!

DAY 2
Willow listened to the old man and watched as he demonstrated the game with great interest. Her ears were up and attentive. When he was finally dragged away Willow found a place to sit waiting for others to join the game.
She was interested in how well or poorly this would go.

The expression on Qlue's face was a sour one as she stomped her way through the Conquest lands. Every inch of her, every small scale of her being was on edge. There was a tightness about her shoulders, her tail lashing quickly from side to side. It was clear that she was not happy.
The astrosphinx's stomping slowed, faltering as she reached the area of Diplomacy. She followed Willow as they both listened to the old man, the astrosphinx rudely dropping into a seat at the same table as the ghost with the chattering and clink of her metal clothing. "Hoi!" She greeted, "Grab a third person and let's do this!"

Willow smiled at Qlue, despite the astrosphinx's irritation. "Okay," She said before glancing around and noticing Olivia in the room. She waved the undead ghoul over.
"before we start though..." The byakko paused and waited for the little ghoul to join them, "Hi, I'm Willow." The tigress at least wanted to know who she was playing with.

As well as she was good with listening, hearing the clansman explain the game had hurt her head a little. He has such an unique way of talking and instructing and the little ghoul was having a whirl of a time making her way through her antidotes and rules until he left. Maybe... she'd understand it when she actually played it.
If she found others to play with though. Olivia was about to look around when she noticed one of the cat-like ghouls call her over. Oh, oh it was the ghoul from ... a lot of places. There was another with her as well, one she hadn't seen really too often. But she made her way over just the same and sat herself down besides them.
"Hello," She replied as she smoothed out the skirt of her dress to rest a little better in her seat, "I'm Olivia." Her blue eyes turned to Willow, "it's nice to finally know your name... I've seen you in various places so far..." She should have probably learned it in the dorms, but she had snuck away at one point during that whole mess.

As the third ghoul sat down, the astrosphinx jabbed a thumb towards her chest. "Qlue! And don't you dare pronounce it with a 'C'!" She added quickly, scowling. Nevermind that her name was pronounced as "clue," with only the written version being anything different.
"So." Qlue began briskly. "Are we playing for favors, silver seeds, or what?"

Willow chuckled, "Nice to meet you as well Olivia, Qlue." Her tail flickered as she smiled thinking, hmm "Well I don't have many silver seeds on me." She said thoughtfully with a frown.
"I could do favors though." Willow was playing with one of the tiles as she thought, "Is favors okay with you guys?"

"Nice to meet you Qlue," Olivia made it a point to emphasize more of the 'q' sound than the usual 'c' that could be used in such a name. No, she didn't want to dare mispronouncing someone's name, not when they threatened with a tone like that - even if they could possibly be joking.
But these two seemed to be confident, not the least bit worried about this game like she was. "Favors are okay with me," latching onto Willow's idea was fine with her. The ghoul didn't really have much in the means of silver seeds and well, she didn't really want to lose those.

The astrosphinx looked disappointed, offering a shrug while shrewdly glancing at her companions. There was a calculating look on her face. Perhaps she was judging them, weighing them as to how useful they could be to her?
But no; her attention went behind them to where she waved over an attendant, helping herself to a handful of bone tokens to stack neatly off to one side. A similar pile was offered to her table companions, thus stocking each of them up with favors.
"ALL RIGHT!" Qlue announced, a little louder than necessary as she placed two favor tokens on the table. "I guess..." She looked blank, her mind scrambling. "Crowns!"

Willow looked intently at the placed bet as she took a handful from the basket for her own sitting them to one side so she'd remember which pile would be which.
Her tail flickered as she picked up two as well, "Hm... I'm feeling like scepters." She said as she placed them down.

Olivia's pile was not as well separated as the other two had theirs, her dark fingers brushed against a few of the bone tokens to get the feel of them. They were supposed to keep track of all these, she vaguely wondered if the two ghouls would be angry if she brought out her notebook to aid her.
They were placing bets before she ask them, and even picking opposite choices. She glanced between the two, wondering which to side with and then mumbled, "crowns," as she too placed two favors into the pile.

"Then we are settled!" Qlue snatched up the dice and threw them in to the cup, vigorously shaking them. She was unaware of the startled looks that were given in her direction from irritated and concern clansmen, her tongue peeking out of the corner of her mouth as she concentrated on shaking.
"And HA!" Qlue dumped the dice out, the small cubes tumbling before finally righting themselves.
Qlue stared at the dice, quietly counting the pits off. "Odds," she said disgustedly, pushing her tokens towards Willow. "There. I bet two again, this time on crowns."
She glanced down at the dice, scowling as if it were their fault. "Either of you want to roll next?"

Willow winced when Qlue was so loud. Giving an apologetic smile to the others when the astrosphinx dumped out the dice. "I.... think I should roll the dice..." She said looking a bit worried as she took the tiles and then the dice away from Qlue. "Just to... uh... well maybe it'll give you better luck." She nodded softly.
She sat the four tiles from the others away from her own in spots so she'd know whos was whos, and then replaced her two more of her own and placed them down. "Are you okay with me rolling Olivia?"
She seemed to ponder, "Also, I guess Scepters again."
