Damian had arrived to the clubhouse early . He insisted on getting settled early and as the leader of the group he wanted to make sure all the security was up to par as he wanted it.
He was the oldest out of them all, and had little idea who all would be joining the group. He knew Rocket's son James was joining and looked forward to working with him.James was good natured but feisty.
Damian cringeda t the thought of working with the West'Kent twins. emily was annoyingly obvious about her interest in him, and there was just somthing odd about Cory. Cory also bugged Damian beacuse he was hot after Lian even still.
The four hadn't been face to face with eachother in over a year now, but Damian was sure little was going to change.
Damian had left to do extra trainning for over a year and felt bad about leaving Lian behind, but he talked to her on th ephone as offten as he could. He had gifts to give her from his travels as well.
In the gym Damian was practicing his sword work. Sweat ran down his bare chest as he moved with skill and grace. He had grown much over the years and especially in the last year alone with all his trainning.
He had several new scars but that mattered not to him. They were only proof of his hard work. He had followed his father's footsteps and saught out the same trainnors, monks, and temples his father trained in before he became Batman.
Damian took comfort in knowing that Grayson and Roy were trainning Lian while he was away.

Lian arrived to the clubhouse earlier, walking through it and looking around with wonder. Her Papa and ever her Daddy had walking these very halls, Mt. Justice was amazing. Over the year Damian was gone a lot had changed for Lian, she'd really started growing into her body--her hair was cut short, really short, but she felt it was most efficient--she hoped Damian didn't mind it. It was boy short but at least it didn't get in her eyes when she shot.
Lian headed for the training room and walked in, only planning to look around but when she saw Damian she froze and watched him move. She smiled slyly, he was certainly smoother in his movements, it was obvious he'd been training. She moved stealthily behind him, making sure to move whenever she almost became visible in his peripheral. She wrapped her arms around his waist abruptly and kissed his cheek then let go, doing a back flip because she knew Damian didn't like being surprised and would no doubt lash out.
"Hey Dami!" She said, standing on her hands and walking around on them, she had a fascination with gymnastics just like Papa Grayson. "How ya been?" She asked, pushing of the ground and landing gracefully on her feet. She grinned and said, "Your moves aren't as violent as they use to be, much more smooth." She complimented.

Damian felt arms around him and was ready to slach back but felt lips. He froze for a moment then slowly turned to see her.
He let the sword drop from his hand as he stood staring at her a moment. A smile slowly crossed his lips as he watched her and how gracefull she had become.
"Thank you.. I see Grayson has been trainning you." He walked toward her. He reached up and touched her short hair and smiled. "It suits you. I bet it doesn't get in your way like this." He said. He looked into her green eyes and felt his heart flutter. He missed her so much.
Damian found himself leaning in to kiss her on the cheek. He still wasn't sure what they were to eachother yet. He had wanted to ask her on a proper date before he left but he had a chance arrive to train under a master that was close to death. Damian had to leave abruptly.

Lian smiled shyly when Damian touched her hair and said, "You like it?" She giggled lightly at the statement and said, "Yea, I get a clear shot this way, no annoying hair flip required." she teased. Lian's cheeks burned when Damian kissed her cheek, she found herself wanting to ask what they were. For years, ever since she was six they'd been close, giving little pecks here and then, hugging, even laying next to each other to sleep...what were they?
Lian opened her mouth to ask but a voice interrupted her, "Hey Lian." Lian's gaze shifted to see Cory standing in the door, his stance just as shy as ever but his green eyes alight with a fire as he looked at Damian. "Wayne." He said shortly.
Cory walked farther into the room and stood next to Lian, she put on a smile for him and said politely, "Hello Cory." He always seemed to come at the worst times, keeping Lian from talking to Damian. "What are you doing here? We're not suppose to be here for another..." She looked at her watch, "Hour."
"Oh, well Lian you know us speedsters we're always early, Emily is here too." As if on cue the other West-Kent twin bust in and Lian felt a rage fill her knowing the perky girl would latch on Damian as she always did.

Emily had let her red hair grow out long over the years and didn't mind flaunting herself in front of Damian. She wraped around him tightly with a squeele. "Oh Damian, your home! It's so nice to see you again!' She gave her little giggle.
Damian griutted his teeth and made no move to hug her in return.
"Hi.. Emily.' He grunted. He glared at Cory wanting him to get away from Lian.
Emily pulled back but grabbed Damian's arm. "I missed you." She smiled.
"I bet." Damian answered with a less than enthused voice.
Damian shot Lian a look of 'please help me'.

Lian snorted when Damian shot her a look and mouthed the words: "man up." She was never happy with him when it came to Emily, sure he acted like he didn't like her but--well, he never pushed her away! Lian blinked when Cory took her hand and looked down at it then up at him, "Lian...I've been meaning to ask..."
Cory looked at her shyly and she knew where this was going--she tugged her hand free and said, "I'm sorry, I have to go look for my room. We'll talk later." She said, abruptly walking away.
"Lian!" Cory called, she was already out of the room. Cory pouted then glared at Damian, "This is your fault." He huffed before walking off too, hoping to catch Lian. He could if he really wanted to but all his bravado was gone now.
Lian was in the room designated for her frowning at the ground. She was not in all senses of the word: grounded. If she left this room then Cory would ask her out and she'd have to turn him down and he'd probably cry cause he was a loser and Lian would comfort him then--then he'd think he had a chance when in all reality he didn't.
Though they weren't dating Lian was loyal to Damian, she felt like a fool for it too, why be loyal to a guy you weren't dating? But she was a sucker for him, she always had been, she'd liked him since she first met him...Lian sighed and ran her hands through her short hair, she'd dated a few guys before but--none of them made her feel warm and safe like Damian did...it would only ever be him. Lian cursed loudly and threw her pillow across the room.

Cory was sitting outside Lian's door, that shot that plan. He had manged to get away from Emil. Lian had a point. He needed to man up. That time was now.
Damian looked up at the ceiling and smirked. He had a plan.
He prapelled down the side of the building in time to look through Lian's window and see her throw a pillow. He felt guilty that he hadn't done this years ago.
Damian swung over to her window and tapped on the glass. In his free hand was a boquet of flowers, yellow and red, her favorite colors. He smiled sheepishly and waved to her with the flowers.
He really hoped no one saw him doing this. Deep down he was all about the romance but didn't want anyone to know that.

Lian blinked as something tapped at her window, she snatched up her bow and loaded it before pointing at the window, when she saw Damian she sighed--when she saw the flowers she blinked curiously. She walked over to her window and laid her bow against the wall before pusing the window, "Whatchya doing out here Romeo?" she asked a bit of a smile tugging on her lips. "Where's Emily?" She asked a bitterly.
Lian stepped back so Damian could jump in and looked at the flower's. "Would those happen to be for me?" She asked, looking at Damian's face and smiling shyly. He'd never done anything like this before--this felt too weird but really nice, maybe Damian was finally actually asking her out?

Damian climbed in and handed her the flowers. "They are." He smiled. "I ditched thing two in the hall. Thing one is outside your door." He growled.
Damian blushed a bit. "I uhm.. Brought you back somthing from my travels. a few random trinkets but this one.. Was special." He dug into his pocket and pulled out a small wooden box. "This is actually a really rare gem that comes from another planet far from our solar system. I had it specially made for you." Damian opened the box revealing a silver ring with a small blue and green stone in the center.
"I wanted to know if.. You wanted to be my girlfriend." He looked up at her hopefull. "Your right that I need to man up. I should of asked you yeasrs ago when we were still playing Starwars at your dad's house." He smiled.

Lian giggled at the thing 1 thing 2 joke, they were a couple of troublemakers. She smiled and took the flowers playing with the soft petals, "They're lovely." She said warmly, her gaze shifted when Damian dug into his pocket and she said, "Oh Damian you didn't have to...wow." She stopped short at the sight of the ring then looked up at Damian with side green eyes. "I--I--you..." She fumbled over her words for a good 30 seconds before dropping the flowers and wrapping her arms around Damian's neck. "I thought you'd never ask!" She said, a bright smile on her face.
"Of course I want to be your girlfriend, I've wanted it for years." She said, pulling back, she blushed and pulled back rubbing the back of her head and coughing a bit, "Well I mean, not--okay it's been years." she said, giving up on trying to play it cool. "Thank you Damian, it's lovely."She said, picking up the ring. "But you didn't need this to ask me out, I'd have accepted you anyway I could get you." She leaned forward and her lips were an inch from Damian's.
"This will be our first real kiss." She said before pressing her lips firmly against Damian's. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she tried not to show how nervous she was but her fingers were trembling against Damian's arms, she pulled back then and smiled.
The smile faltered as a knock came to her door, "Lian? Are you in there? I really need to talk to you." Cory called through the door.
"Oh my god if you don't do something about him I will." She said, making a beeline for the door.

Damian beat her to the door and held up a hand for her to step aside. He took in a deep breath and smirked. "I'm a pro at being a jerk, just ask Tim Drake-Wayne." He swung the door open and glared at Cory,.
"Do you mind? The adults are talking." He snipped. He stepped forward. 'i know this cutestie shy act must work well for you Cory but seriously, give it a rest." His eyes shifted to Emily as well. "And you... Niot interested. Just drop it. We are here to work, not to fight over eachother like we are in primary school." He snapped.
Emily looked on the verge of tears. Damian knew this was going to end in a fight of some kind and the wonder twins no longer talking to either of them for a while, but tough. It had to be said and done.

Lian frowned, feeling that Damian didn't get the point across well enough she hugged Damian around the waist, "This, this is mine." She said smiling slyly. She swore if Emily could shoot lasers from her eyes she would be. Cory looked heartbroken, then he looked angry.
Lian blinked when Cory stood abruptly and poked Damian in the chest hard, "This isn't over Wayne." He snapped before stomping off. For a moment he'd looked like his dad Connor....creepy.
Emily glared at them but didn't say anything as she followed her brother. Lian had a feeling she'd be hearing from her later. "Well....That went over well." she said, smiling at Damian. She rest her head on his shoulder, arms still tightly wound around his waist and said, "I guess I should get dressed and ready for our team prepping or whatever."
Lian let go of Damian and pushed him out of her room. "I'll be out in a bit, I think you'll like my new costume." She said smiling slyly at him. "Dad hated it let's say that much." She winked then closed the door, her heart was pounding but she was excited. Teasing Damian was going to be fun, hell being with Damian was going to be so great. She'd waited so long and now he was hers!

amian smirked. If her dad hated then he was going to love it. But that also meant Cory would be all over her.
He felt kinda guilty and thought maybe a sit down with the twins was more apropriate. Maybe explain to them that they were both too young for him and Lian and that he and Lian had loved eachother for a long long time, just never acted on it.
He shook his head. He had to learn how to be more diplamatic in how he handled things. Grayson kept trying to pound that into his head. Damian wasn'yt the most settle when it came to whats mine is mine.
He began to head to the meeting hall when James flew in. He smiled wide at Damian and waved.
"Whats up bro?" He playfully punched Damian in the arm.
"The twins are pissed at Lian and I, mostly me, but Lian and I are together now." Damian smiled.
"Ah.. Want I should talk to the twins?" James offered. He was the more friendly of the group. Much more d**k Grayson in how he handled things. The son of Kaldur and Rocket, he was more friendly and likeable than Damian.
"Could you?" Damian said. "I suck at trying to be polite when I all I want to do is scream at them." He sighed deeply. "But they are kinda family, and I have to learn to get along with them."
James patted Damian on the shoulder. "No worried. Get changed boy wonder, I'll see you at the meeting." He smiled.
Damian had pretty much the same costume as when he was younger, but minus the cape. Instead he swaped it out for a hooded leather jacket that was yellow and black.
He took a seat in the meeting room and waited for the others.

Lian tugged up her yellow socks, they weren't just cute, they were resourceful, her whole outfit was made of a lightweight but thick material that would hold of knives, not bullet proof though sadly. Lian sighed, tugged in her boots, she didn't believe in heels like a lot of the other female heroes, effective, that's what she was all about...And maybe a bit of sexy.
Lian stood, pressed brushed her hands over her stomach to smooth out the material and sighed. Alright, show time. She pulled her mask on, grabbed her bow and arrows, then walked out. Damian was of course gone but she hadn't expected him to wait. "Woah." Lian looked over her shoulder and sighed.
"Hello Cory." She said, already feeling guilty about her actions.
"Hello Lian." Could he be more obvious in the checking her out? "You look nice."
"Cory." She warned. "Please, I'm sorry I was so mean about it but--me and Damian, we've always cared for each other." She touched his shoulder, "Please understand."
Cory frowned and looked at Lian, "Lian, I can't. I care for you too, you can't expect me not to fight for you. He's too cold and you're so warm."
Lian sighed, he didn't understand. "You don't get it, I can't explain it right now." Lian turned away, Cory grabbed her arm, she moved quickly pinning him to the wall. He had strength but he wouldn't use it against her, plus, she'd been trained by Black Canary. Bringing guys down stronger then her was her specialty. "Cory, I'm a girl, but I'm not to be pushed around. Get it?" She snapped before pushing away from him and walking off.
Cory sighed, her hated to see her leave but--he was beginning to like to watch her go.
Lian sighed and walked into the meeting room, she saw Damian and grinned. "Hey Robin." She leaned against the door and waved with a flurry of her fingers. "Ya like my Speedy outfit?"

((I had actually pondered the idea of one of the twins becoming a villain lol.. omg i want bar food sooooo bad)))
Damian looked up at Lian. His face instantly red. "Whoah..." He smirked. "I see why Daddy Harper hates it. I take it Pappa Garyson helped you make it." He teased. He wanted to get up and touch her but he knew better. He had to be profesinal.
He pulled out the chair beside him for her. "Speaking of which, Batman is on his way for our breifing." d**k was so much better at this public relations than Damian, but he was working on it.
Emily walked in wearing a one peice tight yellow and black suit with a lightning bult on it. She had taken on more of her father's powers of speed and also a jult of an extra. She could emit electricity and controle it.
She sighed deeply as she stepped past Lian.
"Nice of you to join us Impulse." Damian greeted her. He did feel guilty.
Emily smiled all the same as she took her seat. "It's ok Damaina.. Your a jerk and thats why I like you.' She winked. "Don't think it's over.' she warned him with a flirty tease.
He sighed heavily.
James aka Boomer came walking in and took his seat. He smiled at Emily. "You have dark choclate?" He grinned. Obvious pick up line.
