This is a private RP between Nisshou H's Nexus and Cain and Kara Asumie's Harumi. Please do not post without permission. Small warning: acts of a violent nature do occur in this RP. If you do not want to read a fight RP than don't read this one.

"It's simple. We find a mare and whoever gets her interested first is the winner." Those had been Nexus's exact words. Cain should have known that the idea would be something this ridiculous. Actually, he had known that is was going to be something this stupid and he had gone along with it anyway. Not that Cain had many options. It was this or fleeing from his sister and mother.
As he was standing out in the middle of a field scouting for girls Cain was beginning to reconsider these options. Cain had left the choosing to Nexus who seemed to think he knew more about girls than Cain. The way Nexus was picking them apart made Cain wonder exactly why his nephew thought he knew anything at all.
"That one's too fat, she'd squash you like a bug...and then eat you." Nexus said casually with an impish grin. He was enjoying this. They were standing away from most of the crowd but close enough to see without them overhearing. All in all their ignorance to Nexus's criticisms was probably better for their self-esteem and his health. He let out a low whistle. "Would you look at the face on that one? Ran into a tree head first one too many times." At this he actually cackled. This was fun. He could do this all day. Screw the bet there were enough problems in this lot to keep Nexus completely amused.
Cain rolled his eyes. He didn't want to be out here. It was all good and well that Nexus was enjoying himself but Cain just wanted to get this over with. He'd lose the bet hunt down some decent food for Nexus and be done with it. "Look, just pick the next mare that walks by. You know as well as I do that you aren't going to be interested in any of them."
Nexus shrugged his wings. "Fine. Next mare that comes by is the mark. And Cain, actually put a little effort into this. You look like you just swallowed a bug. You could pretend like you actually wanted to be here."

Harumi came trotting about as she wasn't sure where to go next but knows that this place is pretty so wasting some time here for awhile after all this field has sure pretty flowers and it seems like a lot of other Soquili like it here so nothing bad can happen. Well that is her way of thinking. Stretching out her wings as she folds them back to her sides slowing her trot to a prance.
She looks about noticing that this area seems to be more common with mares it seems. She wonders about is a bit then brushes it to the side as she stops prancing and lays down. Being tired from traveling without a lot of rest because of bears and wolves. Sighing in relief that wolves aren't here. She doesn't belong to a herd so she isn't protected. But she use to be in a herd. She was the baby sitter in the herd. Caring for baskets and foals of others.
This makes it so that she can deal with a lot that someone tosses at her. After all foals can be evil little things when they want to be. So nothing phases her anymore.

It didn't take long for a new face to come strolling along. She didn't even seem to notice Nexus and Cain. It was safe to say that Nexus noticed her though. "Brown?" he whined to Cain hoping to get another shot at the next one to come by rule. Judging by the impatient look on his uncle's face Nexus concluded that he wasn't getting any sympathy. Too bad. Brown was a color that tended to be frowned upon in their family too much like unclean things like mud and waste.
"Fine." He huffed stretching his wings. "We're going for miss spotty dots over there. I'll just...focus on her mane or something." Nexus grumbled. At least her mane was a kind of goldish color. It was a bit dingy for Nexus's liking but as Cain had pointed out Nexus was never going to be interested in any of them. It was a bit of a family trait.
"Lead the way Cain, I'll let you have the first move." He snickered.
Again Cain rolled his eyes. He did such a thing with astonishing frequency whenever he was forced into interacting with his nephew. Nexus was just the kind of person that you rolled your eyes at. "How generous." He replied flatly before gathering up his will power and setting off in a beeline for the wind mare. She seemed like she just wanted to enjoy her day. Cain would have pitied her a little bit if he didn't want to be free from Nexus.
Cain came up along side he and stopped staring down at her with cold golden eyes. Only with a prompting nod from Nexus did he decide that speech was probably necessary in such situations. "Hello." he said evenly still standing stiffly. This was such a pointless activity. He didn't want to interact with random people. They weren't worth his time.

Harumi looks up at the Stallion next to her. He was Black and gold it seemed. Something telling her to treat this like dealing with a foal. "Hello to you too Good Sir. May I help you?" She wonders a bit as it was rare for others to come up to her after she left her old herd. She has been pretty much alone for the last few years. So this might be interesting and maybe she should play along like she does with foals.
She stretches and spreads out her long wings again seeing he isn't that close to her and she plans to keep it like that until she knows what it is he wants. Not making a movement as to stand up or anything like that she watches him from her laying spot. "Your face says you want to be else where Sir. So why aren't you?" Pondering the thought of why one who looks like they want to be somewhere else is forcing themselves in an area they don't want to be in.

Cain glanced at Nexus silently asking for help. What the hell was he supposed to say to a question like that. Somehow saying 'I'm here because of a bet and I'd rather not be forced to remain in your presence any longer' seemed like a good way to piss Nexus off and have to start this whole mess over again.
It was now Nexus's turn to roll his eyes. Geez, Cain was seriously hopeless. He wasn't anywhere near tricky enough to pull off a convincing nice guy routine. It was time for Nexus to play the hero and step in. Giving his mane a shake he trotted over to stand near his uncle. "Is this guy bothering you, miss?" He asked looking Cain over as though they were complete strangers. "He looks like a bit of a pest."
Cain bristled visibly and glowered at Nexus. "I'm not bothering anyone you leech on society!" He snapped his wings opening into a striking position automatically. He coughed when he realized what he was doing. This wasn't going to help him. Slowly he folded his wings back to his sides. "I was just...talking...to the lady." His voice was less than thrilled.
"That so? Well miss I'm sorry if I interrupted some enlightening conversation." It was hard but Nexus was pretty sure he managed to keep most of the sarcasm out of his voice.

Sighing a bit Harumi looks the stallions over. 'Somehow I feel as if I am a toy in a game. And both of them seem to be the game maker and toy maker. No wonder I feel sick.' Were her thoughts. She moves pushing herself off of the ground as she stands. Looking at Cain. "You two aren't strangers. The movement of you bodies reaction to each other gives that away. I am not sure what game you two are playing. But I assure you will both lose if I am your target."
She smirks a bit with her wings still spread and stretched out a bit as she then folds them back into her sides. She is trying to get them to spill the beans on what it is they are after. Maybe she has this wrong. Maybe it isn't a game. "But maybe I wrong. Maybe you two aren't playing a game. Who knows. But if you are. But I guess I will play along seeing I have nothing better to do. So please make this Entertaining. If it is boring then I will cast you both as idiots and be on my way."
Normally she is just happy to make others happy themselves but with the lack of sleep and traveling so much she isn't in the mood to pleasure others. Oh well this not wanting to please others side of her is rare to see and normally fades away when she gets bored of it. Once it fades she seems to forget about all that happened while in her rare unpleasing mood. So it is interesting playing out.

Nexus raised an eyebrow. He was almost willing to call this mare intelligent for catching them so quickly. The only thing stopping him was the rather significant detail that she had been foolish enough to say that she was on to them and say that she would have the nerve to call them fools. He wasn't about to let that slide.
"Aren't you so clever?" He asked patronizingly. "Cain, don't you think she's clever?" Nexus grinned cruelly before taking a few steps closer to his uncle. "You're right, we know each other. You're so quick." He then brought a wing out to block his and Cain's faces from view in case this brown mare had other hidden talents. 'New rules.' Nexus mouthed leaning in closer to whisper so quietly that the mare would have no chance of leaving. "First to chase her off wins."
It was an event that only happened once in a blue moon, Cain was in agreement with his only nephew. His pride had taken a hit and he wasn't about to stand for that. No one in their entire family would have. So he nodded his head softly to minimize movement of his hair and waited for Nexus to drop his wing before stepping forward. This was a bet he was happier to take. He didn't want to be near this mare anymore than she wanted to be near them.
"I'm quite certain that our encounter will be terribly amusing." Cain said turning his head to examine his wings casually. The game was to make her leave now but it wouldn't hurt to make her feel as though her life could be in danger. "However, I don't imagine you'll find it to be the same. You see, foolish mare, you don't seem to realize exactly whom it is you are dealing with." His eyes were colder than ever before as he turned back to regard the mare with a look of mild disgust and complete disinterest. It was no act for Cain. These were his true colors.

Feeling the need to warn them before hand Harumi smirks. "Oh I will warn. This rare mood of mine will fade soon. Once it does I will lose all memory of you both. And go back to trying to please those around me. So if you are going to have your fun. Do it soon." She quickly spreads out her wings and rears as a bit of a warning. "I know who I am dealing with for the time being and it is the un-charming dump and dumper." Her front hooves hit the ground as her body is saying she doesn't fear them.
Her sweeter normal self is sleeping inside of her seeing it is too tired to stop what she is doing. Harumi might be okay for now but if she wakes up and forgets them while this game is still going on. Them she will turn Submissive and try to please them so they leave her be. This rare mood is to protect her when she is too tired to do so on her own. She created it in these years without protection of a herd.
This rare mood of hers begins to think that maybe she should have stayed close to Shikon who was traveling with her for awhile. After all Shikon would have protected her so she wouldn't have to use this rare mood. But on the other hand this rare mood could be fun at times. Though she is wondering what it would be here.

Nexus and Cain exchanged looks. Not only was she foolish but she was also evidently crazier than Nexus's mother. However Nexus was still going to put the emphasis on stupid. 'Dump and dumper?' What did that even mean? Was weird insults part of her psychosis? Whatever her condition was Nexus found he didn't particularly care. "So...what you're saying is that we could beat you within your life and eventually you'll just forget everything we just did?" He snorted a laugh. "Sounds like a blast, don't you think?" He took a few steps away from Cain to walk around to the mare's other side.
"Fun?" Cain snorted pure and simple and followed Nexus's example of opening his wings. "You have a strange definition of the word. This isn't fun, it's just removing an annoyance that is under the delusional assumption that her life has any value to us." Why else would this brown mare insist on insulting them further? She had to be under the impression that they were going to hold back but that simply wasn't the case. "And now I will warn you, run." He didn't waste any further time chatting with her. With a quick nod of his head he charged the mare counting on Nexus's support. They didn't like each other but they were still family and this was a family mater after all.

Now she wished Shikon was here but she started this. So with a smirk she plans on seeing it through even if she has to take two steps back before moving forward. Seeing her wings are longer then the two stallions' wings she flaps hers hard kicking dirt and flower petals up and into Cain's face. She is faster then she looks when she wants to be. But her main opening is up. Shouldn't be to hard to get up. Making her body movements seem like she is going to fly. This is a trick Shikon showed her. Act like you are going to fly and then once the other flies up like they are going after you. Run under them to get some distance.
Maybe this was the wrong game for her to play. She has to admit that she got herself into more trouble then she should have. Maybe she should have just told them to find another mare to toy with that she has no interest in their types. Thinking about it all now. Harumi really dug her own grave being so high and mighty when she really isn't. But this isn't the time to keep having all of these thoughts.

Cain scowled squinted his eyes and spat at the cloud of dust. He hadn't really wanted to kill the mare but now that seemed like the best option. He took a step back and blinked rapidly to clear his vision. He could see the mare spreading her wing like she was going to take off. Well that just wasn't going to happen. She may have had longer wings but Cain was still bigger than her and Nexus was larger still.
"Nexus, let's be rid of her." He called to his before beating his wings and slowly took to the air. He wasn't going to let her run now.
Nexus didn't wait to her Cain's demands. He could already tell where this was going the second the dirt started flying. As such he charged in as Cain started to lift off the ground. He didn't need to be close to snatch at a wing and that's exactly what he did. With a laugh that could be described as nothing short of psychotic he snapped at the mare's primary feathers aiming to pull a few out. Maybe it wouldn't be the end of her but it would hurt. His grin was malicious, it would hurt a lot.

Harumi bites down as she moves her wings fast folding them to her sides again letting Nexus eat a few of her feathers. The pain was something she should grin and bear it for now. She had bolted running under Cain as she smirks. This is one time she has to thank Shikon when she sees her next. Now what else was it that Shikon showed her. Those are things she needs to recall for now. But right now she needs to get out of an open area like this and into the woods where she blends in.
But maybe she should take flight now. After all she might be faster then the stallions in the air. But she knows fully well that a stallion can out run her on the ground. Sighing as she recalls her wing is hurt. Which means Nexus grounded her for the time being. "Damn it. Find Shikon. You were right. I will do this your way." She whispers recalling what her friend once told her.
With that she does a sliding stop and pivots as she turns fully around on one leg. She isn't going to let two un-charming stallions make her run with her tail between her legs like she is owned. She has been controlled before and then her main self is awake she allows others to control her. Not this time. No no no. Charging at Nexus now as she knows she might lose this. But it might be worth it to get stronger if nothing else.

Nexus let out a triumphant laugh around the mouthful of feathers he caught hold of before spitting them out. She tasted like dirt. He watched with amusement as she ran off like a coward. "And you were so brave a minute ago." He cackled only for his and Nexus's benefit. "I suppose that means I win. She walked all over you." He said glancing up at his airborne uncle.
Cain's vision had fully recovered while he circled about in the air and he could see Nexus on the ground spitting feathers. He could hear him cackling and was about to reluctantly admit defeat when he noticed something unusual. The mare that had run off seemed to have changed her mind and was now heading towards them. "I think it would be to your benefit to look again." He called down to his nephew before planning his next move. A series of aerial dives ought to put that mare out of condition.
Without wasting another second he extended his forelegs to a striking position before angling himself down at the mare in a sharp dive. He wouldn't go for her head, no, the back was a better target. It was wider and harder to get completely out of range.
Nexus made an irritated clicking sound with his tongue as he caught sight of the mare coming back. "Great," he grumbled before planting himself firmly waiting. She'd get close and he would dodge. Or at least that was what he was thinking when a black blur shot out of the sky directly at the mare.

Harumi biting down her teeth together as hard as she can. Another thing Shikon taught her was how to fall. Seeing the stallion above her as she continues to run with her back legs but slams her front hooves into the ground this causes her to flip her back side over her front side. As it would cause her back hooves to almost nail Cain in the head if he doesn't fly back up.
She learned a lot from her friend and knowing she will lose this battle to the point that walking away might not be possible. So she might as well give it her all and show them that she isn't some tamed mare for the time being. Though controlled at times she still isn't tamed. And she isn't weak.
This battle is more then showing these two that using others for their own games is wrong. It is to prove to herself that she can live life without a herd. Without a Stallion to protect her. She can do this. Even if she fails in the end.
The flip caused her to slide on the ground hard as her back is bleeding. Her mane and tail falling out of their braids. She huffs hard once she comes to a stop rolling over onto her belly and gets to her feet. Her eyes having a flame in them saying I might lose but I will not give.
