Lizzy had instructed that she wanted to know what Stacey's last words were, and thus Shun was going to deliver them. He had taken a day or two to recover physically from the whole ordeal, before he began to make his way over to the demon dorms. Prior to arriving, he had given a call to let her know he was on his way.
Shortly after, he was at her door, where he lightly knocked upon it. Placing his hands into his pockets, he waited for it to open up.
Bandages were still wrapped around his head, covering over his left eye. There was also a faint, subtle troubled look he held. It was likely something only those more familiar with him would be able to pick up on.

It wasn't that Lizzy didn't care about the casualties. It was that Lizzy was sure that if she went to see any of them, she would be so overwhelmed with guilt that she might just start to cry or something, and they'll end up having to console her; thankfully, 2 days with Mac and she was a little calmer, not that she got any sleep at all since that incident.
She was also being weighed down by a million and one thoughts.
This was one of those rare time she was actually in her own room as opposed to Mac's room, although that was partially because she had decided that all Seeds-related things should be kept out of Mac's room for reasons. When she heard the knock at her door, it took her a moment to calm her nerves and finally answer it.
One look at the bandages around his eye, however, and she felt like someone had just punched her in the stomach. The fact that Shun seemed slightly off did not register at the moment, as she hesitantly reached out to touch the left side of his head, "How... How is it?"

Shun waited patiently at the door, though when it opened up, he noticed that Lizzy was looking worn down. Tired. It was hard for him to say if it was because of a lack of sleep or if she had just gone through something today to cause it. Regardless, he didn't quite expect her to reach out and actually touch his head. He almost flinched back as a result.
"It's still sore. Cricket was able to seal the wound pretty well, but there's still a fair amount of healing left to do," he replied.
"Mind if I come in? There's.. a few things to go over."

"Ah..." She muttered, her expression softening ever so slightly as she paused there, almost hesitant to continue, "So... Did she say or ask you anything? Nurse Cricket, I mean... Hel went to her too, after all. I wouldn't be surprised if she got curious about what happened for two students to get so severely injured."
She nodded silently, stepping aside for him to enter, "Sure... I expected as much, when I received your call. There's a couch in the mini room at the side."

"Not really. Though I wouldn't be surprised if she suspected something," he said before moving in and making his way towards the couch. Along the way, his leg smacked into the coffee table pretty hard. Grunting, he gritted his teeth before looking down. That. Had hurt.
With a hiss, he just sat himself onto the couch, grimacing as he tried to ignore the fact that he had just walked his shin right into a table edge.
"I guess business comes first. You wanted to know his final words, right?"

"Not the type to ask then, I see," She wasn't sure if she was relieved or worried, since she wasn't sure if she would tell anyone else and get them into trouble. Then again, Nurse Cricket had proved herself to be on the side of students time and again, so she was probably just worrying about nothing.
She walked over to the mini kitchen, preparing two cups of matcha - thanks to Xiu, she had started to store some teas in her room - before deciding that she wanted something sweeter and chilled. Pouring the matcha into two glasses, she then added milk and ice before bringing them over to the table; because of this, she missed Shun's little accident.
"Yes," She nodded and took her own glass, her grip tightening around it, "What did he say? And... What exactly happened to his body?"

"This is what it means to be human," he recited, recalling the way Stacey had said it and the way he was in general prior to having his throat slit open. He hadn't begged him to not kill him nor did he show any signs of fear. It was somewhat respectable in a sense.
"As for the body, Christof had started to carry it back to Halloween. Just as we hit the threshold, the body exploded," he explained, "Oh yes. One other thing happened prior. Right when he died, a stone tablet appeared next to his body. Amrita should have it right now."
Glancing at the table, he slowly leaned forth to take one of the glasses so that he could take a sip of it.

"What it means to be human, huh..." She looked thoughtful, almost sad as she took a sip of her drink, suddenly glad that it was bittersweet rather than bitter. Almost like their 'victory', "Probably referring to what it means to die... Really die." Once humans die, they are gone forever... That was what Professor QB had told them.
"Exploded? How so?" She asked, wondering if that was normal for human bodies to do, "Ah... Stone tablet...? Out of nowhere? If it's with Amrita, I guess she will bring it here once she's ready."
A long pause.
"How did it feel? Killing a human."

Shun hadn't really seen the explosion itself since he was being hauled away quickly by Mitsu.
"I didn't really see, but it was a bit of a mess. Chunks of flesh here and there," he grimaced. The result hadn't really been pretty. But yes, Stacey was likely referring to the fact that he would die for good. A part of him though, wondered if there was another meaning to it. To die for what he believed in perhaps? It was hard to say.
Taking a sip of the tea, the Reaper paused as Lizzy tossed a question at him that he hadn't entirely expected. Especially from her.
"I didn't really feel much of anything. I felt a sort of pressure or weight in my actions. Briefly. I understood that in doing this, he will cease to exist completely. In the action itself... in watching him in his final moments before dying. There was nothing. No satisfaction. No regret, " he explained before looking up at the spider demon, "I have to wonder if I am supposed to feel something though."

"Ah... Did you guys clean up?" She frowned; wouldn't be nice to leave... Chucks of flesh laying around, after all.
Listening quietly to Shun, she stayed silent for a few seconds after before nodding, "So you did feel something right before the deed was done... You know, I've been thinking a lot about... The fact that I hesitate killing something when I know that I am taking their life away. In the Haunted House, I couldn't help but feel that the only person who was satisfied we killed a human was the Heir of Conquest."
A pause, "But I want you to remember that any sort of hesitation or pressure felt before taking a life away shouldn't be mistaken for weakness..."

"No. Mitsu was pretty intent on getting me to the Nurse as quickly as possible," Shun explained before taking another sip of the drink.
"I don't know if I really hesitated. But there was something there.. for a moment," he said before looking up towards her, "Weakness. Are you certain of this? If in a more dire moment, such a hesitation could be costly."
The Reaper let out a sigh and leaned back into the couch.
"Then again..."
He didn't finish that, just trailing off.

"It doesn't matter if you felt the 'something' before or after," She tried her best to explain it the way she had figured it out after some thought, but it was still difficult to explain, "If we kill someone who can't reform without feeling anything, we would be no better than the hunters who kidnap us and torment us. In a war, I like to think that each side will always feel that their cause is just. We were just trying to find out more, so that we can deal with this... This hunter problem, and Stacey said that they were just trying to protect their home. We fight to protect ours, they fight to protect theirs. Can you say that our home is more important than theirs?"
She sighed, "If you got hurt, Mitsu, Xiu and myself will be sad. We'll be worried." She glanced at the bandage around his eye before looking down, "Maybe somewhere, a human is crying for Stacey right now."
That was depressing. So very depressing.
"It's not a weakness," She said it again, more firmly this time, "But... If someone - if a hunter - is about to do something horrible to a friend right in front of me, I would probably lose control and kill him. I almost did, after seeing what he did to Hel... If you hadn't stepped in, I would have tried... Tried to..." She paused, and then took a swag from her glass.

"Is it wrong then, that I feel no sense of regret?" Shun asked quietly. He was certain of that much. Well. That was something troubling him, but it wasn't within the act itself. It was how it was affecting Mitsu. But he would get to that in due time.
"You sound as if you definitely would end up regretting it afterwards," he commented. It at least cemented his prior notion that the one who did the did shouldn't be someone who would end up carrying it heavily upon themselves.
"This.. leads into the other reason why I am here, in a sense. If, for some reason, it had been Mac in my place. How would you have felt?"

"It's not wrong," She admitted softly, her eyes focused on the drink she was holding on her lap, "The deed is done, you can't reverse it and I suppose it was... A necessity at that point in time. I just don't think that some teenagers and scarelings like us should have to live with knowing that they ended someone's life... I'm actually not sure if I'll regret doing something like that. Like I said, if a friend was threatened, and he or she might be taken from me forever... I would rather sacrifice the life of a stranger."
It just didn't seem right... To take a life like that.
"If it had been Mac..." Her grip on the glass tightened so much that her knuckles were turning white, "I would have stayed behind, probably. I don't know. It also depends on how he feels about it..."

Shun still had decent vision in his one eye, so it wasn't too hard for him to notice that her grip on her glass had tightened. It was looking like she might have a similar issue to Mitsu if that had been the case.
"If his feelings were more or less the same as my own on the matter."
