It starts with when I was working for this lady who's daughter recently moved out with her boyfriend. She offered the room to me to rent from her. $300 a month. kinda a lot for 1 room but i figured i'd take it to help her out and get away from my moms house. A few months pass and her daughter decides to move back. Now i felt bad enough having this girl sleep on the sofa when she came to visit. Having her live in the living room of her moms house made me feel awful so i decided to move out and give the room back to her daughter.. Arrive at work later that night and all the stuff i had at the job was packed up and she told me to Get out. She was kicking me out for being deceitful and a liar. Cussed me out for blaming her daughter on the fact that i was moving out because i just wanted to go back to live with my mom and mooch off her. TLDR: i lost my job and some friends for trying to be nice.
Now i get a letter in the mail and my ex-boss blatantly lied to the unemployment office. "Abandoned my job after i failed to report to work. Concluded that i never returned to work after a conversation they had with me regarding her results from a test they had given to all of their employees"
There was no test ever, for anyone.
I have filed an appeal with the unemployment office and i know i really can't do anything else about this but i'm still very frustrated with the whole situation.

worst part is i'm losing friends over this. They are taking her side and not even listening to mine.

Valgex is right~ you need to file a complaint, and if your appeal doesn't go through, you should sue her for slander. Considering that false information is being used against you, I think you could win.
