Quote: 1. Definition of Questing
Questing is a way for you to motivate yourself you get your dream avi. Questing is accomplished through posting, vending, participating in contests, playing games, & much, much more. Questing is not the same as begging. Questing is not demanding people to donate to you. Questing is not without your own work.

The bold text is a must and the italic text is some tips for you to attract donators to donate you:
Be sure to tell everyone your quest - Even though rules such as this are pretty much self explanatory, but there are just members who do not do so.
Please track your progress - It is needed for everyone to know how you are progressing in the quest, and they can also have a judgement on how much they would like to help.
Make it outstanding! - Use some graphics, colors, or even thread layouts to decorate your threads! Anyone would love to see pretty posts. Also, people would know that you are serious about your quest, and make them more willing to donate. Do not be over-reliant on donations - Quests are quests because you need to quest for it, not wait for donations. Sometimes, you might not even receive any donations at all. You need to think of ways to earn gold to work towards your goal, and donations are simply bonuses.
Show a list of donators - Donators should be listed down as they are people that have helped you, regardless in what ways! Also, even though you have not received any donations yet, please write down the list too, so that when the Crew Members check the threads, they would be able to know if you have followed the rules.
Post your Quests in the Gaia's Main Forums - Those forums are there for a reason! Posting in such forums would definitely increase your progress, as well as allowing everyone to know about your quest. It'll be best if you can display your links somewhere (your posts, signatures, profiles etc) so that people would be aware of your quest.
Add Games and/or Contests - This is definitely not mandatory, but who wouldn't like to participate in contests and win prizes? Such additions would be able to draw more peope to your quest thread when they feel like they can get something back after donating to you. If you don't wish to add a contest, you can add games to make your quest more fun!
Provide services you specialise in - Perhaps you are good with graphics, or avatar arts pieces, you can offer them to your donators as a way of saying 'thank you'. Or if you already have a shop started, remember to post it in your thread! Affiliate other threads - Well if you have banners or anything that do not belong to you, you can credit them and post affiliates or links! This way, more people would be aware and can see your quest threads.
I got the tips from Elyzia in here.

No Begging threads - This is a subforum meant for quests, and not for begging. Begging threads are not allowed nor encouraged in this guild, and will be locked or deleted. It doesn't matter if you're asking politely or not, as long as they have elements of begging inside, they will be locked. This warning is stated very clearly, and will not be tolerated once a begging thread is discovered.
No spamming - This is defined as posting nonsense & gibberish. Small links to quest threads, or other things are allowed, but try to keep them in your signature. No MyBrute links, ever! Also, making multiple posts for the same quest counts as spamming.
