No Shia, Megatron, Starscream, or Ironhide.
Where can they go from here?

Unicron, is all thats left for Bay to rape.
Why has no one killed bay yet why, i could cry right know, will i go see it yes, and most likely die right the in the theater from a brain aneurysm brought on by a epic scale nerd rage.

agreed but id like to think Transformers evolved beyond just toy commercials, to something that can stand beside the star wars and star treks, but with bay at the wheal it a step down for the whole franchise.

Historically though, Transformers media has always been primarily a toy commercial. Whenever we've gotten more than that, like Beast Wars or Animated, where there were writers who cared enough to go the extra mile and respect the material, that's always been a bonus, not the standard.
Other than that, we've pretty much got a choice between really bad toy commercials, and really good toy commercials. So the movies didn't really work to be more than a toy commercial, they could have been a lot worse. They could have been Armada level crap.

The unicron trilogy so much better then the bayformer movies, yeah they both suck but atleast Armada and them had character development.

Armada's greatest character was Sideways and that was because they DIDN'T characterize him, leaving him mysterious. Still had more character development than Bayformers. He takes characters and throws them around/blows them up/gets them killed while laying a thin veneer of a plot over all the explosions. TFPrime is doing FANTASTIC on the plot/character development, though.

Dear god I was hoping you were joking, but its true... every time i learn something of about a Bay movie a little piece in side me dies, and i thought all that could die did the last transformers movie...
