Dakota was pumped after the auditions from the choir....band event thing auditions. After he got Nsync stuck in his head, he also got the simple idea too...
He wanted to make a boy band. A hunter Boy Band. Boy bands got all the ladies right? Dakota wanted to get all the ladies.
Chama snapped at him. But his head was humming so much boy pop tunes, she wasn't even sure he heard the fuzz of her talking in his brain.
He wiggled, bumped and grooved and begin to formulate the people he wanted on his little boy band entourage.
Obviously they had to be moon hunters. Male moon hunters. There were a ton of those right? Like Harrison, and Marcus....and Wash.

Dakota and 'serious business'? Did he just read that right? Dakota was rarely serious, but if he was manning up for something, fine by him. Marcus would humor him and his seriousness. Moon commons and Marcus just assumed that meant the usual commons. No moon commons he knew of at least.
Dis was saying it had to do with the picture. Marcus doubted it. Dis really hoped it had to do with the picture.
Marcus just showed up with a very simple "So, what is serious and if you say girls panties I'm leaving."

"What about panties?" Harrison asked, wondering if he'd walked in at the wrong time. Or the wrong meeting.
Dakota was there, though, so that was a good sign.
He'd given Marcus a hard time during the man party, but he didn't actually have anything against the guy. He was actually pretty good-looking, if it weren't for all the worrying business with stabbing folks below the belt.

"Panties are dire discussion and if I wanted to talk about panties, I would sit you down Marcus and explain the wonders of each and every type. You don't think its serious...I can make it-Hi Harrison!" Dakota waved to the other moon hunter and gestured him over.
"Okay, well, I needed to talk to you two first seeing as you-" He pointed to Harrison, "Seemed all cool with it and are pretty while-" He pointed to Marcus next and grinned, "Are another pretty boy."
"So this is my idea okay?" He waited.
A pause.
"I want to make a Moon hunter Boy band."
He waited for their response.

Marcus was not amused. "Dakota, the only panties I have any vested interest in are- you know what no we're not discussing this." A pink tinge to his face rose up. Damn it Dakota! Harrison got a smile. "Nothing. I just assume if it's Dakota it's female related." Safe bet really.
The- Dakota plan was laid out and all he got was a blank look. ".....You're joking right?"

"Aw, c'mon Marcus. I think it's a good idea," Harrison said, "..You nailed that dance routine."
Dakota had definitely nailed it.
"Sorry to say, though. Singing's not my forte."

Dakota blinked.
"I am not joking." He aimed that at Marcus before looking at Harrison.
"Neither is mine....but like...we can get a singer..." He flailed but pointed at the moon hunter, "And you got heart Harrison. We need all the pretty faces we can get in here...." He grinned which brought up his next point.
"Marcus, Sorry Harrison, your really good looking and all but Marcus...You have that rough pirate look. You should be the lead male pretty face." He flipped open his hone idly and closed it.
If Marcus refused well...there were WAYS to convince him to join.
"We just need to find two more moon hunters...ones that can sing I guess. I can only think of Wash and Ryan...." He grinned again.
"How do you feel about Dancing Harrison?" Dakota turned his attention back to the older moon hunter.

Marcus frowned. He didn't want to dance. Or sing or really, entertain a crazy idea of Dakota's. "Dakota, can I ask just... why?" Did he want to know? Really? "And if I can sing or not just- this is a dumb idea Dakota. Why do we need a boy band? Don't those only attract like, prepubescent teenage girls? Is there some motive that I should be concerned about here?" As in, was Dakota more of a creeper than previously thought? Looking at Harrison he shook his head, "Please don't tell me you're for this too I- Male lead wait what." He wasn't sure how to react to that. He also wasn't sure about 'rough pirate' either. Marcus just scowled at Dakota. "You're nuts."

The Treasure Island kind, Harrison thought back.
He rubbed his scars self-consciously. "I don't mind, long as someone else is thinking up the moves. ...It'll be a good bonding exercise. Y'know, coordination, teamwork, division stuff."

Did Dakota tell Marcus why he wanted the boy band idea?
Might as well..
"So yeah kinda of the girls thing. And lucky for us, there isn't any teenage girls on the island...except Cass and that's just favourtism okay? Not cool man." He blinked at Harrison before a coy smile.
"There is bonding. I feel like as moon hunters, we need to er..." He paused...searching for something to just push this little thing off..."Hell alright, I'm in it for the girls but it'd be nice to get to know my team a little more I guess. I mean me and Marcus here, we are bro's....intimately..." He waggled his eyebrows at Marcus.
and then turned to Harrison, "But I don't know anyone else that well right? Plus...We were a good team once, Back when you became like a wall of AWESOMENESS." Dakota fondly remembered that day, when Chama had blessed Harrison to protect the weak.
"I got the moves okay...." He grinned, he didn't watch all that Nsync and Backstreet boys and 98 Degree's for nothing. He was MEMORIZING, for future ideas...SUCH AS THIS.
He blinked at Marcus again, "So do I have your okay for Male lead? I gotta call my....contact about the costumes...."

"Bonding." He crossed his arms and looked at the two of them. Technically Harrison had a point. In a weird way but it was still a point. Dakota did get a glare at the 'intimate' remark. A resigned shoulder slump and- "Alright. I'm in. We'll do this boy band thing. Got nothing better to do anyway." A break from routine was good sometimes...right?

Dakota blinked at Harrison before nodding.
"Yeah wings on the whut...I think Marcus works wings better then I WOULD." Dakota blinked again before grinning.
"Awesome, SO let me just call Julie and tell her we want some serious costumes and such kay?" He flipped the phone and started to dial for Julie.
Not that he suddenly liked her but...she did the best costumes of the hunter island. They wanted to be best dressed yeah?
