Unfortunately, I have been ungifted/unable to obtain a ZOID of my own. I hope that, one day, a partner of my own will come into my life.
Until then, I have to sharpen my skills on the field.

As with the lack of a ZOID, I have been unable to partner with an Organiod. I have heard wonderful things about them though and hope, one day, I may call one "friend".

The third part of the ZOID trio. As with the others, I have yet to partner with one. Maybe someday...

This is my personal data log. I would ask that anyone reading this to, please, not change anything.
Username: Mya Annalee Rivers
Nickname: N/A
Gender: Female
Fraction: Republic
Job: Sniper/Medic
Height: Short - 5'4"
Hair Color: Platinum Blonde highlighted with streaks of an reddish-brown coloring.
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Skin Color: Pale/Fair (Not her fault she fries rather then tans. Blame genetics!)
Character Description: At first glance, you would believe someone like Mya Rivers wouldn't even think of going near a ZOID, let alone pilot one for the Republican Army. Short, almost fragile looking with her model-thin body to match, one could almost assume this young lady (with a gentle smile and prim manners to match) was the daughter of a highborne family within the Republic. In a sense, she is...just not what they think.
As far as wear, outside of a slightly modified uniform (not enough to break regulations but enough to say: This is mine), Mya favors a sleeveless top of a warm, forest-green shade with a simple pair of jeans. The pair of brown, knee-high boots with a little bit of beadwork to bring out some color top off the outfit. The only constant she possesses as far as items and belongings go is a simple pendant given to her by her beloved after they graduated from the academy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personality:
-Positive: Gentle - "Don't be afraid...Take my hand, I won't hurt you." Gentle by nature, Mya is driven to assist as many as she can on and off the field of battle. From being a sounding board to giving them a shoulder to cry on or someone to vent at; the options she's willing to assist with are many. This has lead her to study medicine during her off-hours at the base, to provide first-aid and emergency care to fellow pilots and allied soliders/rogues. -Positive: Observent - "Sir, if I may say something about this?" Sometimes we notice things we weren't really meant to notice. This can range from a simple error in a stock report to a massive fumble by a high-commanding officer; these, and in between, can or could not be spoken out about. Mya is out-spoken (but polite) about these items towards and will direct the attention of her friends, family and commanders towards something off or wrong, though towards the latter of the list she will often chew her words before speaking them. -Positive: Patient - "We will get nowhere rushing into things. Sit back, relax and think things through!" Patience is a virtue, one taught by both Father and Mother growing up and one Mya holds close to her heart. She's heard all the tales of stupid officers rushing things in the midst of battle, only to bring down his/her entire brigade in a single sweep. No, seeing red and tasting bloodlust was no way to win a war. --------------------------------------------
-Negative: Pacifist - "This is stupid! Stop it, please stop!" Fighting, any type of fighting, was downright stupid and pointless in her books. (Which is funny due to her military status). However, never will Mya strike dead an enemy unless there is AB-SO-LUTE-LY no choice in the matter. She will aim to injure and disable but, almost, never aim to kill. Besides, her logic is the enemy in question might have information they could want. (This arguement has gotten the young officer in trouble multiple times.) -Negative: OCD - "Um....Please don't make a mess?" While fairly minor as far as OCD cases go, there are some things in this world that HAVE to be just so for Mya. Her stuff has to be neat and orderly, her food has to be put together just so, so on and so forth. To put it all in a nutshell, it's mostly personal space and belongings; if someone messes up her stuff, they'd have to run across the capital city to escape from her to make them put it right again. -Negative: Indecisive - "Can I....Should I?" Spur of the moment choices are not a strong point of hers in any case, especially those that involve her taking out someone in an eye blink. As said before, death is something she frowns upon and does not enjoy inflicting upon others. That said...it can be hard for quick thoughts when she's in a state of mental despair. Hobbies: Reading, piloting her ZOID, hanging out with comrades around the base, cleaning (Yes, really. She likes cleaning.), drawing, writing Likes: Coffee, drawing, reading, writing, her boyfriend, her ZOID, her family
Dislikes: Arrogant and stupid people, kill-on-sight missions
Character Information: Formally trained in long-distance/sniper action; any medical training she has recieved is mostly designed for on-the-spot emergancy aid. Mya, however, has been studying on her own time for times beyond that. Times for, if say, she and the injured were stranded they had to send an distress beacon for assistance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character History:
As mentioned above, Mya was born and raised within the Republic Capital by a fairly well-to-do family (Not insanely rich but well off enough that the young woman had nice things while growing up) with both older brother and Father aiding in the military. Her grandfather, once a soldier but now retired, along with the forementioned males of the family were all content to live the decent life they had with modesty. Her mother, however, was not. Having tasted riches and aspiring to the lime light of the aristocrats, she attempted to reached higher then she should have...only to get slapped down by those few who thought it foolish a simple "Higher middle class" woman could touch royalty. But this did nothing to squash her ambitions in the slightest, not when dreams of wealth and glory drifted about in her head. It was to this end she began grooming her daughter to become the "perfect lady", so that she could marry into a proper family at of age. Yet, growing up hearing her beloved fathers' stories of ZOIDs and her brother's (slightly) foolish tales of his comrades and their antics, Mya began to dream of joining them in the field. This, they approved and encouraged. Her father even went as far as to sign her up for the Academy when the young female reach the accepted age. Her mother, unfortunately, did not. SHE wanted proper manners and womanly habits preened upon her only daughter. This brought aguements that shook the roof of the house night after night...Arguements that, thankfully, Mya was spared from hearing during her training and during the infrequent visits to home. Her brother was especially protective of his little sister; he always made sure notes from Mother that played the song of the guilt trip never made it to her inbox. (The joys of being a hacker and science nerd, eh?) Unfortunately, behind veiled eyes and boxed ears, the relationship between Mother and Father became more strained as time went on....Finally, the tension string snapped and the two went their seperate ways. Although upset about this, and always feeling that this may have been her fault all along, Mya willingly stayed with her Father and brother... Yet this, and several tragic losses of friends and squadmates within the next few years, would lead to a hate of Death and a dark outlook towards those who inflict it upon others without a thought. To this end, guilt...remorse...all these forced Mya to stay her hand, even in the midst of battle. It was from this, and gentle urgings from her father when he took notice of his childs' distress, that she should try something different. Something that didn't involve first-hand contact with the field and the face of an opponent: "You should look into the training of the sniper, little one. They hide in the shadows and protect from above. Plus, they need not kill. Find a spot on your opponent: Leg, Arm, Shoulder, Hand...Disable them, knock their weapon from their hands, try to even knock out a vital part of a large weapon itself. Then allow those below to step in for you." It was after that her brother piped up with an addon to the idea their father spoke of. Distract them too! Aim not for the body but areas close to their feet or something. Not many people he knew of reacted well to bullets coming too close for comfort. Plus, what if they had prisoners? She'd be a prime ideal for a distraction! Mya could only shake her head and agree. Always with the logic, these two. Always. But, truely, she could find no arguement with it and took the advice to heart. Something both her trainer agreed and disagreed with at the same time. Despite this, he would constantly urge her to choose the KoS option: "Sometimes it just has to be done!"; even so, and this has gotten her in trouble multiple times, she would ultimately refuse. Nor would she run to her father about these issues either; if he found out on his own, fine! But Mya was a big girl. She could take these punishments with her head held high!
