Ofelia was stupid enough that she wanted a rematch - she was stupid enough to think she could take someone on and come from it without having to be dropped off somewhere. Rue had no idea where her partners confidence was coming from, seeing as the teen had no skills and hadn't leveled up by any means of the imagination. She instead had learned to take a few punches to the skull and that was what set everything better in Ofelia's mind - if she could take hits she could keep on coming and then everything would be better.
Rue thought she was retarded and refused to comment on the issue. Ofelia accepted her silence as an admitted defeat and so her ego was feeling even better. Seeing as Ofelia was on cloud nine her rematch target this time was going to be Rep because well, he'd beaten her down last time and had acted so cocky about it. It wasn't that Ofelia wanted to be super smug and run his face into the ground (okay she did that was the truth) but she also wanted to just see him again. They were clan mates, right? Well, group - she didn't know why she called it a clan - but either way she approached his door and knocked against it.
Ofelia kept silent because, well, if she spoke then maybe he would know it was her and not open the door. A bad idea, a bad idea. She could have texted him too but Ofelia couldn't text to save her life.

As always, when not training, the redhead was laying on his bed, daydreaming and idly chatting to Tracey, something he tended to reserve solely for when the two of them were alone. He didn't feel as crazy when he bickered with the voice in his head on his own. Today the debate seemed to be a pretty intense one as he glared angrily at the ceiling.
The knock at the door was an interruption on this and Rep's expression momentarily dropped. He was tempted to carry his ill mood to the door but thought better of it, taking a deep breath before he opened it, looking almost expectant.
And then he saw it was Ofie and he looked much less pleased.
"Didn't you promise you'd leave me the ******** alone if I fought you before?"

"Ah came for a rematch, 'cause ya said ya'd rematch me any time Ah asked fer it. Also Ah did leave ya alone fer a while but - " Her voice paused and she looked up at Rep, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks and her posture somewhat changing. "Ah'm pretty sure the mission they got comin' up is gonna kill us all so. . . ." She raised a hand to her chin and looked away. "Ah didn' wanna die wit'out kickin' yer a** inta the ground jus' once, or at least havin' a decent rematch."
Ofelia dropped the timid girl act and grinned up at Rep, her arms crossing themselves beneath her bust. She had bruises on her hands and knuckles, like she'd been punching something recently, and the younger red-head looked up at the older red-head exspecatnly. "Also yanno, maybe yer gonna feel better after a fight too? Ah mean didn' ya say ya like hittin' women? Ah dun mind bein' hit so it's a win/win fer both'a us."
Rue kept saying the word masochist but Ofelia didn't know what that meant so she ignored it.

A chance to beat the s**t out of a woman. A chance to possibly knock her eye out again. He could live with that, it'd be a chance to take his mind off what he and Tracey had been discussing as well. Which he badly needed. "Bit of a ******** glutton for punishment I see." he smirked nastily. "But you do make some very ******** valid points, if we are going to die, I might as well beat the s**t out of as many people as possible before we do."
It was a fair point though, maybe he would feel better after a fight.
It was worth a try.
"Fine. I'll fight you."

Ofelia grinned and nodded her head. "Rue says Ah'm a masochist or sommin' but in reality Ah'd rather be hit by a person than ignored. Hittin' me at least means they're payin' attention ta me." She turned on her heels, her flip-flops smacking the bottom of her feet, and she motioned for Rep to follow. "Wanna fight outside again? It's nice an' sunny an' it feels like good weather. We're gettin' outta the misty stuff fer a bit too which is always nice."
She didn't really wait for his answer as she strolled towards the outdoor practice area, the dummies and everything torn up from people preparing. There were a lot of hunters and stuff back in the area, way way way more than she ever thought a club or cult would have, so the trainee was pleased to see the space was somewhat empty and free. "Whatcha think'a all these people showin' up? Ya think we're gonna die on whatever mission they send us on, like those people a decade ago?" A hint of conversation never hurt, right? And if Ofelia remembered correctly Rep liked flattery, so maybe she should praise his manliness while she was stomping him into the ground.

"A masochist?" he wasn't actually entirely sure what one of those was, he had vague ideas it had something to do with pain.
< It means she likes pain. Like you. > He snarled at the angel that sometimes he could just keep quiet and leave Rep ignorant.
"Whatever floats your boat." He shrugged.
As they headed out, he tried to ignore the increased hunters, tuning them out as "more people" and irrelevant, at least until the girl mentioned the mission, giving her a blank look as he remembered in a horrible sequence of flashes the last time he'd run into a horseman.
"Yes. Yes I ******** think we will."

"Do ya use the word ******** when yer nervous, like yer tryin' ta hide sommin'? Never much seen a person use it quite as often as ya do. Not that it's a bad thing, back home Ah always said 'yanno what Ah mean' at the end'a mah sentences. Kinda glad Ah outgrew that sombitch." Those had been hard times since people would be cruel and tell her they didnt know and then proceed to torment her. Kids were cruel and Ofelia usually beat them up without remorse. Ahhh, the memories.
She was grinning ear to ear when the pair reached their destination and she took her pose in front of Rep, cracking her knuckles before summoning Rue. "Whactha think we'll find out there? Ah heard a few people mention Alpacas." Ofelia knew they weren't talking about alpacas but it was silly and fun to pretend that they were.

"No. I use the word ******** because that's the way I ******** talk. Just the same way you talk like an extra from Deliverance." He didn't really have a right to be making fun of anyone's accent, his own rather thick and indecipherable at the best of times. "It's normal back home."
"I think we'll find out that horsemen are way ******** stronger than most people even realised." He wasn't hopeful at all about their chances. He kept almost getting killed by the ********, and knew first hand how potent their abilities were. He did give her a slow blink as his brain caught up with what she'd just said
"The ******** is an Alpaca?"

"An alpaca is an animal ya shave an' make clothes from. Kinda like a sheep." That sounded about right. "Actually Ah have no idea what the ******** an alpaca is so Ah jus' think it's that. Better than facin' the end'a the world an' the horseman." At the mention of Deliverance, Ofelia snickered. "Nah, back home we used ta think those people were scary too. Ah dunno how ta play the banjo though so all'a y'all are safe from havin' ta squeal like piggies."
Ofelia shifted into a defensive position since she knew at any moment Rep would come for her. He made have been littered with wounds but that probably wasn't going to limit just how hard he could hit her. She didn't want to go down so easily again, this time she wanted him to kneel at her feet. A creepy thought but none the less a thought that made her feel giddy.

"You are ******** weird." He re-stated just for good measure after her Alpaca rant, actually laughing aloud. "Seriously." Not that this phased him all that much any more after being on the island for even the few months he had been.
He summoned Tracey with a lazy gesture, much more confident now than he had been with the massive axe before. At least this time he wasn't as angry, there was a cockiness and self assertiveness. He'd beaten her once, he had to be able to do it again.
He charged forward and in a near perfect pirouette, brought Tracey around in an assault.

Ofelia brightened over the fact that she managed to make Rep laugh though she didn't really dwell on it sense he brought his axe down and tore into her like a person would into tissue paper. She felt the brunt of it go against her FEAR shield but there was nothing really there to stop and protect her from staggering backward. Thankfully she kept her ground, having taken her flip flops off at the start of battle, and she made a swift move that resulted in her poking him in the side.
"Ah'll settle fer bein' called strange, fer now. Eventually yer gonna change yer mind an' call me sommin' else." Despite taking a strong hit she still seemed to be pretty okay, which made her happy. Maybe getting her a** kicked all the time was good for her in the end?

The sense of satisfaction was immense as Tracey got traction, Rep continuing the momentum without a break as he winced faintly at the attack on his fear shield but refused to give up.
"Call that a ******** hit? Gotta do better than that." he smirked ferally again "Harder!"
He was a little more lenient this time, the initial momentum gone.

Ofelia had forgotten just how hard Rep hit with that weapon of his, even if the light movements of it could be considered next to nothing. Her brain was thinking about how she needed to learn to dodge, how she needed to figure out a method of combat, when Rue told her that thinking was overrated and she just needed to punch things.
Ofelia could totally just punch things.
Her fists moved forward and she swung around Rep, getting behind him to deliver a blow into his shield. She hadn't broken it yet, her damage was still so light, but she could deal a lot of it in a short amount of time. Plus Rue was charging, she could feel the weapon getting stronger with each strike.

Rep grinned a little wider as she struck him, the damage small but noticeable. "A bit ******** better." he purred, swinging around in a lazy gesture to face her. "Maybe you do have a bit of fight in you." It felt good to be fighting someone more on his level for a change. He didn't feel out of his depth against her, he felt like he could win. It was a wonderful counterbalance to all the people he'd fought and lost to of late.
He swung, trying to land a hit on her leg, but just went wide by a very small margin.

She dodged. Somehow she had managed to dodge, or maybe Rep had missed her on purpose to give her a feeling of confidence, but none the less his attack had missed and Ofelia felt a small surge of hope. Maybe, just maybe, if he missed once then she could make him miss again.
"Dun be too soon on yer praise - probably a fluke on mah part." Ofelia was well aware of how poor her combat skills were but at least she had the spirit to keep going, and she went out and turned, swinging her fist against his shield. A small strike, but it was enough. Rue thrummed in her head, alerting the teen that she was more than ready.
