 Shikon is a bit bored as she starts off her day. Wanders about with no real thought in her mind on where it is that she is going. Just walking to walk is more like it. Maybe to find fun. Or to find friends to make fun and games with. But that will become clear when she gets there. Until then she isn't going to pay those thoughts too much attention right now. It is time to make the must in the moment. Trotting around as she allows her eyes to scan the area as she turns her head. But something isn't right. It is too quite. There are no sounds being made. No birds singing. No bugs making annoying humming noises. Nothing. She slowly stops standing in her tracks trying to figure out just what is going on. This fun game loving mare knows when something bad is in the area that she is in. This helps her keep her distance from evil Soquili and over animals like wolves and bears. But in this area the trees are too close together and she won't be able to take flight. So she keeps her wings folded in. No need to stretch them out only break or hurt them. Keeping quite as she then hears wolves howling and a bear growl as she knows now that she is in danger seeing the wolves are on one side of her while the bear is on the another side. "Oh no." She whispers not seeing a way out.

It was much easier to hide among the foliage, he noted, taking step after cautious step after his target of choice: a great, lumbering, furry bear. So far, the creature hadn't noticed him, but it did keep lifting its nose to the wind and sniffing at something.
Hartek's ears flicked at the sound of wolves howling, and the bear answered with a threatening growl. The draconic Soquili risked breaking cover so he could see the situation more clearly.
Oh.
A winged Soquili mare was standing right between the proverbial rock and a hard place. This was not a time for hesitation. Hartek rushed the bear, trumpeting loudly, and flared his wings out as far as he dared in order to appear bigger. He hoped he could scare it off quickly, and then deal with the more dangerous wolf pack.

Shikon heard loud sounds as she hears the bear cry. What in the world is going on she thought. But moving isn't something she feels comfy with right now as she looks over seeing the wolves coming closer but taking a guess that the bear has been taken out or is having issues of it's own she turns towards the area the bear was in and bolts into a full gallop without fail. She then sees the draconic Soquili taking on the bear. This makes her do a sliding stop as the wolves closed into her and the other Sopuili.
She rears up and kicks a wolf that was coming from behind the draconic Soquili and herself. Maybe he took on the bear to help her is what is running through her mind so she isn't going to keep running and let the wolves get him. How could she do something like that. It would be against her way of life. Something she wouldn't allow to happen. Not even if it cost her that very life she lives to protect.
Once her hooves hit the ground again she notices the bear take off running. This stallion was something else to take on a bear like that. She has never seen a stallion fight off a bear. It shocked her a bit. But he looks okay even after dealing with a bear.

Hartekellion watched with short-lived relief as the bear thought better of attacking him, and ran off into the woods. Tucking his wings tightly back into his sides, he turned to address the wolves, and discovered the mare had run over to him, bringing the wolves with her.
The pack was trying to flank them! Hartek reared on his hind legs, lashing out at the wolves. The sharp talons on his front legs gave the wolves pause. Landing, the draconic Soquili wheeled and called to the mare.
"Run! After the bear! Go!" he cried, as the wolves began to close in again. They needed to get out of here, and the only place the wolves hadn't closed off was the direction the bear had left in. As hungry as they were, the wolves weren't too keen on fighting a bear. That might be their best chance. Hartek's heart thundered out the seconds as he waited for the mare to run so he could guard her back.Kara Asumie Tag! Sorry for the delay!

Shikon ready to stand her ground until the stallion's voice called out to her. So she turns quickly ans follows the tracks the bear left but this was a bit on the crazy side right?? Following a bear isn't something one would normally do. Though if the bear is running off and wolves are behind you then maybe taking on one bear over a number of wolves is smarter.
Or so she thought as she listened to the stallion. She wonders why she listened though. Normally she doesn't listen to strangers but having the feeling that his heart is pure she couldn't help but listen for right now. Later she would question it more. Like when she finds the bear that is ahead of her.

Hartek whirled, catching one wolf across the muzzle with his tail as it lunged towards the retreating mare. It retreated, bloodied but still standing. The pack paused in its assault, rethinking their plan of attack. Hartek wasn't about to waste the opportunity. Loose leaves and soil flew up under his hooves as he dashed after the mare.
It took mere seconds for the wolves to sound the chase, and Hartek could hear them catching up.
In between gasps for air, he yelled ahead towards the mare.
"Find a clearing! Take off!"
Flying away was the whole of his plan, but he didn't want to risk breaking a wing with the foliage so closely spaced. If the mare could find a break in the trees, maybe they could get away without taking any wounds.

Shikon nods as she looks up at the trees and the tops of them to see if she could get out and into the sky. Seeing a big enough clearing as she stretches out her wings "There" she said as she then leaps up and takes flight through the clearing hoping that the stallion was behind her. After all Wolves weren't something to play with. If you could get away then doing so was the best idea. Hovering there as she waits to see if the male also took flight. This was someone was she saw as a friend so she is worried about him. Her eyes scanning below her and around her in the air as she is looking for him.

She was up! Hartek quickly lost sight of the Wind mare as branches obscured her escape. As he broke from the trees, he spread his wings and launched himself after her. Hartek bellowed at the unexpected pain in his leg. A wolf had somehow managed to leap on him at the last instant! The pain and the weight of the wolf pulled Hartek down to earth. He kicked wildly, and lashed out with tail and wings to deter its pack members trying to dart in and bite him. The wolf was thrown off, but the violent jerking had torn the bite wound open further. Hartek could run, but there wasn't any way he could make the leap from ground to air, the wound wouldn't let him!

Shikon noticed that something was wrong with her new friend as she sees him through the trees then sees the wolves. Scanning the area as her eyes lock onto another opening. The heads there quickly like a bullet and lands as hard as she can onto a wolf. Her hooves hitting a leg of the wolf. Acting like a mother protecting her young. She puts on an act that were scare the rest of the wolves. She rears up and lands hard near the wounded wolf as it turns tail and heads off. Huffing a bit trying to make a point to the other wolves still there.
