Bay duty was so boring, but at least he had company. Roy was kicked back in his seat watching the monitors and listening to Lian sing to herself as she played with her dolls on the floor behind his chair. He sighed deeply and prayed for some action. This sitting on his rear was annoying as hell and he felt slow and doughy.
He glanced back at Lian in his old Speedy costume and smiled. He adored her with all his heart and knew she wanted to be a hero like him some day. He also knew that the only other heros her age was Damian Wayne. His expression changed quickly at the thought of that demon working side by side with his little girl.
