It is the solemn duty of Soul Society’s Shinigami to exterminate souls known as Hollows, wherever they may be found. Hollows aren’t the most intelligent of beasts, but even a mindless beast eventually learns not to stick its nose where it hurts. So the sightings of random hollow on the outskirts of Rukongai are sending Soul Society into uproar. What’s more, people have said that some of these hollows carry Zampakutos, which leads to just one conclusion. Arrancar have made their way into Soul Society. Why is yet unknown to the Shinigami but regardless of their reasons, it is imperative that these Arrancar are exterminated as soon as possible.
As there is so little known about Arrancar, except for the fact that they will prove a grave threat, every squad among the Gotei 13 will be venturing out at some point to face the enemy.
The squads will be departing soon, they’ll set out after receiving their final orders from the Captain Commander. At the same the Arrancar are amassing their forces in the woods, daring the Shinigami to drive them out.
Whichever cause drives you, be it protecting Soul Society or reducing it to rubble, you’d do well to prepare yourself. Your enemies are closing.
