How To: Feel like your life doesnt suck
Idk about you guys, but I sometimes have lots of trouble with this. (Especially lately). There are not just moments, but whole days and even weeks, that I think my life is just complete crap and it totally sucks and EVERYTHING happens to me. So that being said, lets create a long list that people could use some help get out of this complete state of turmoil, and back into a life of things that are generally good. Tips on how to not feel like you have a crappy life:- Enjoy the little things in life. I love the sound of the turning signal in my car. If shave my legs after leaving it for a few days, my legs feel like the smoothest theyve EVER been EVER. - Look at someone whos life is crappier than yours. Watch the news of a mother whos just lost all her 6 kids in a sudden freak car crash - suddenly your problems seem significantly smaller. Got any tips to add? Have any strategies on not letting yourself get sucked into this spiraling-down-a-black-hole state? Please help me out and post them here.

I like to distract myself as well by reading a book or meeting to new people. Another thing is talking to someone else about what they have going on, like if they've read a good book or had a fun vacation. Also listening to music..

- Vent it all out with a friend. Or a complete stranger.

Remind yourself of the good times. Yes, it might be hard because of the negative situation you've got yourself into, but just... try to think about all those positive situations. If it's too hard to do on your own, look at old photographs, scroll through social networking sites (like facebook, tumblr or twitter) and see old posts that made (and still makes) you smile.
Oh, and if you're not allergic to it, ice cream. Lots and lots of ice cream. And maybe a good movie.

write a diary with "3 good things" that happened to you every day It doesn't have to be big things, it can just be: 1. I am alive 2. I had tacos today 3. I found a new video with my favorite band on youtube :3
or whatever small things make you happy, in the start it's really hard, but it gets easier when you get used to it, and you feel happier, and when you feel down, you just look in that diary and remember what makes you happy

Get a couple fun new hobbies or learn a new skill. Learning and doing some origami helped me when I was feeling a bit worthless/depressed. It's harder to feel worthless when you learn how to do cool new things, like make an elephant out of a dollar bill. emotion_awesome

Watch shows like Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve Wilkos, etc. Constant reminders that my life could be so much worse. 3nodding

Play video games.
Make up a worst case scenario and then realize things are pretty okay.
Remember that the zombies haven't come yet.
Turn on some music and show off your sweet dance moves to your plushies or pets. =P
