So is anyone else absolutely saddened by the levels of racism exhibited by fans of The Hunger Games?

People whining because the black characters are cast with black people in the roles? Really? I kinda have to admit I'm raging over here.

On the bright side, at least I'm not the only person to envision Cinna in my mind as a black man in make-up. 3nodding

It's probably because a bunch of people speed-read the books a week before the movie came out because it was the new hot thing at the time and skipped over the fact that characters in the book weren't white.

I am actualy speed reading the book, but not skipping anything. Im seeing the movie in two days but don't wanna spoil the ending by watching the movie then finishing the book. seems completely pointless. And as for the racism thing, some people are just idiots who take things way too far.
