It was the day before what would be the mission. Mitsu was on her way back to her dorm when she got the text. Shuffling her books in her hands she withdrew the chirping eyephone from her bag and hit the screen. Her eyes grew a little wider when she realized what the text was about suddenly taking in every word as if it were the most important thing in the world.

Wear something light? Some of them would be expected to change? Mitsu was curious about this detail trying to mentally log the time they were to meet and where as she walked. She read the message over a couple of times and it was because of this focus she really wasn't paying attention to where she was going. It probably would have saved her from what was about to happen as she walked right into a particular dragon in the hall.

Falling back Mitsu's books shattered. She wasn't sure if she had ran into a wall or a piece of heavy furniture and realized it was neither when she finally caught her bearings. Before Jericho might have intimidated her with his size alone but with the way he had been acting lately, and toward Shun no less, Mitsu was a little more on the defensive instead of the 'cower and hope for the best' routine she had beofre. At least she would be when she got up off the floor.

"I'm fine," Mitsu said almost defensively, taking the book that Jericho had picked up out of his hands. She regretted it a second later when she realized she wasn't acting like herself. Jericho was obviously high strung about something and she was only getting defensive because he was accusing Shun of something that wasn't true.

"Sorry," She said softly a second later, crouching so that she could continue to pick up her books. "I wasn't watching where I was going." In fact, her phone was around here somewhere....

"N..no I was looking at my phone which I can't find now." Where was it? Mitsu continued to pick up books stacking them up beside her while she looked. How many books did she need anyway? If the ghoul was taking classes it looked like she was taking them ALL and at the same time.

"I got a text..." Mitsu looked at Jericho then knowing he had probably received the same text.

"Of course," Though Mitsu wasn't entirely thrilled either but for different reasons. "Its because of him that we have any information at all."

Ah! There was her phone. Gingerly she reached forward and plucked the device up from beside Jericho's foot giving it a once over to make sure it was alright. When it seemed to be fine she locked it and put it away in her bag.

"Why have you been so...." Mitsu paused to think of a word before picking up the massive stack of books and lifting them with ease. "Edgy lately?" Maybe if she could get down to the root of the problem she could put Jericho's mind at ease about Shun.

Mitsu's eyes narrowed. They narrowed in such a way that said she had been around a particular reaper too long and was starting to pick up a few things. One being a cold stare. "If he really thought that then he wouldn't have brought this information to anyone. He doesn't want more people to fall victim to the Hunters no more than you do."

She wasn't sure what to make of his avoiding her question. It only seemed to solidify the fact that he wasn't very trusting which only made her believe he couldn't be trusted in turn. "You're very different than when I first met you. I thought you were more understanding and weren't so willing to cast off those who were seeking your help. Maybe I was wrong...to think we could rely on you." It was rather daunting that someone on the student counsel was ready to throw Shun into the same light as the Hunters without understanding the truth. She was disappointed.

Mitsu's eyes sad despite Jericho's 'effort' to convince her. "I don't know that I can." She looked up toward him that sad expression hinting at the disappointment she felt. "Or ever will." She added.

"Shun won't endanger anyone, I trust him with my life. If I'm wrong you can blame me and take it out of my hide later but I don't want you treating him like a threat when he's not." Her expression drew darker again, her usual timid stance much more dominant.

"And how are you so certain he is?" Mitsu barked those eyes almost glowing with anger now as she stepped closer to the dragon. She stopped in front of him those eyes eerily wolf like as she stared him down. "You didn't even give him a chance you instantly threw him to the humans." Throwing him to the wolves made no sense to her so she would never use that phrase.

"I understand a lot has been going on, these are stressful times but you are turning your back on one of your own. How do I know you won't think of me the same way next?" She backed up then but only to push passed him to continue to her room. Before she got far though she stopped and turned to look back at the dragon. "It would be in your best interest to focus on what's important instead of following some off the wall paranoia. If you can't perhaps you should stay home."

Mitsu let out a snarl and growl of her own, a noise not possible for human-like vocal chords. No, this was the sound of the wolf within reacting to the distressing situation. Jericho had deemed himself a threat and Mitsu would be watching him like a hawk if she had to. It was regrettable since she would really need to focus on the mission.

The few words drifted toward her and she could hear Jericho's odd use of 'we' but Mitsu didn't linger long to figure out why. Instead she stormed toward her room before she decided to show the dragon why he should stay home.
