Personality:
Anguis is a rather outgoing troll, to begin with. He enjoys being out and meeting others, which isn't hard with his rather friendly personality and his innate ability to start up conversation rather easily. While he's not a particularly talkative troll, as he'll gladly listen to whatever you want to talk about for however long, he does like to chat and learn about the other trolls around him. A generally kind and polite force, he is for the most part amicable but he does tend to be a little more sarcastic and sassy around closer friends. If anyone is hurt by his comments, he's always quick to apologize, and he really enjoys spending time out with his friends.
While outgoing, Anguis is rather calm and has a rather level-headed view of things. He cares deeply about his friends and this translates into a sort of habit of trying to keep everyone he cares for out of trouble. He tries to advise against risky actions and if his advice isn't taken, he worriedly tags along despite his own warnings just to make sure the other will be okay. He knows it's dangerous, but he figures that if he tags along he'll be able to help if it all goes wrong. His calm is helpful in most dangerous situations, but there a times where he doesn't quite manage it keep it very well.
A patient troll, Anguis is very tolerant of most harmful actions that are directed towards him. He's hard to get angry intentionally, but as a kid his hold on his temper isn't very great and it can bleed out in terse situations or when he feels his friends are being threatened. He's rather loyal to those he regards good friends, almost blindly, and threats to their health do not carry well with him. His anger isn't very well directed, mostly a barrage of shouting ,and if he can manage it a fight (albeit most of the time he cannot), but it's still something you'd not want to be on the end of. The only time Anguis would not readily jump in to defend his friends is when it's a high blood, as he knows this would cause only more harm than good, but it still causes incredible frustration for him which he takes out on things later.
His calm and patience lends to his curiosity, which is utterly boundless. He loves learning about new trolls when he's out, but is also interested in medical and artistic things. He can sit and read for ages, able to get past what he considers boring in order to get to the information he wants. He learns quickly and can pick up skills in a short manner of time if he works hard enough, which he's willing to put in. He's also interested in fighting and self improvement, trying to buff himself up a little and improve his fighting skills. He finds he learns easier by watching others, which helps when he's practicing what he knows. Anguis is also incredibly organized, although it's a habit formed out of nagging from Dragondad.
His views on the hemospectrum are rather simple. Anguis doesn't really like it, but he's not about to rebel against it quite yet either. He's polite to those above him, but doesn't treat those below him like dirt. Anguis would much rather base trolls on how they act towards others, and often does, but he's not going to act out quite yet until he knows it's safe. He doesn't have a death wish.
Strengths:
--Fast Learner
Anguis picks up on information quickly and is able to apply it quickly to his advantage, which is helpful in most situations. Fighting he is particularly apt in this in, as he can replicate opponents moves if he puts his mind to learning it. The mastery of said information can take days, but for the most part Anguis can learn and retain information incredibly quickly. He does learn faster if he sees it rather than just reading it.
--Caring
Anguis is incredibly caring, always concerned about the well being of those who are close to him. He puts others before his own needs and tries to help out in any way possible if he can with the other. He'd give the shirt off his back if he needed to and he's definitely someone to come to if help is needed. While it's not the most admirable thing, he finds it something that he likes to do and feels like it's right. There's also a small part of him that thinks if he helps others now, when he really needs help he'll get it in return.
--Level-Headed
Anguis is incredibly level-headed, which is helpful when it comes to dangerous situations that can be pretty stressful. He's able to keep his calm and think up quick solutions that can get them out, but he's also in general a very practical troll. It's not a 100% thing, as even Anguis will stress in very, very bad situations, but for the most part he's able to think it through.
Flaws:
--Overbearing
Anguis tries to be responsible and take care of everyone and everything, which means he can be overbearing at times and kind of obnoxious. He knows you're going to get injured, why won't you listen? It doesn't help that he will tag along if you decide to do it anyways, making himself kind of obnoxious. He just doesn't know how to tone back his caring yet. If you react negatively to it, which most do, he does get a little hurt but he does tone back on it a little.
--Stubborn
Anguis' curiosity, combined with his intelligence, can lean to a certain amount of stubbornness though. If he thinks he's right, and has the ideas to back him up, he'll stick to his point until proven utterly wrong. He's willing to break friendships over those ideals, because if he's right then you'll come around to seeing that you're wrong. It's not something Anguis likes, and he hopes it doesn't happen if ever when it comes to stuff like that, but he's willing to take it.
--Compliant
Anguis is absolutely and unquestionably compliant to those he is close to. Once you've proven yourself to him, just by being his friend for awhile or helping him out in a tight spot, he's willing to do anything because he thinks it's been earned despite how easy it is to earn it. He's willing to do anything for them, even go into battle, if asked of him because he wants to help. Because of this, it's easy to manipulate Anguis because he honestly thinks he's helping. Eventually, if the actions go against something he believes in or he's outright told he's being manipulated he'll stop but for the most part it's not hard to manipulate Anguis. If it's a high blood manipulating him, Anguis won't resist even if he knows he's being manipulated because well, there's not much he can do without it getting dangerous for him. Lowbloods, however, tend to have the friendship cut off and Anguis' wrath.
Weapon:
A very, very basic looking Rapier. Dragondad brought it to him one day and Anguis decided to take it up as his weapon. He's been taught the basics of it, but Dragondad has never, ever let him fight with it so far and he's kind of frustrated.

Home:
New Hemisect city, the city that doesn't sleep. Anguis shares a hive with his sis Forera, a medium sized three story building with enough room for a bunch of trolls to stick around and everything that they need to live.
Lusus:
Dragondad is a sort of snake/horned lizard hybrid that gives him a long scaly body with legs and a pair of horns on his head. He's sassy, but well organized and incredibly smart and pushes Anguis to his best abilities. He's able to curl around Anguis' arm entirely at this point, as he's not a very big lusus. Despite his small size, he has some incredibly potent venom in his fangs. Anguis appreciates Dragondad's support in his interest of learning, even if he's pushy sometimes about it.
Dragondad and Anguis get along very well, although they do have the occasional fight. Dragondad is proud of Anguis, how he manages to do everything he puts his mind to, although he wants to make sure Anguis can be the very best and pushes him, which is what causes most of the fights. He's taught Anguis the general basics of troll society and how to live, such as how the hemospectrum works, what other trolls are like, how to fight with his weapon, but he's let Anguis work out his own feelings and thoughts about it. Anguis is, in the end, turning out to be the kind of troll he wanted him to be and he's incredibly proud. But he could still do better on that sword work, come on kid, you know more than that! Move those feet!
Anguis & Forera
Anguis and Forera, despite being born from the same egg, were not raised together. Their lusii separated them, each taking one troll and going in different paths - Anguis went on to NHC while Forera went to OHC.
While out on an uncharacteristic walk, mostly at the persuasion of Dragondad, he came across Forera in OHC. It didn't take them long to realize they were twins, and they started spending a huge amount of time together. Eventually Forera moved in when her old hive was destroyed in OHC, coincidentally when she was at Anguis'.
They get along ridiculously well and Anguis treasures Forera, although they do tend to bicker. He's especially protective over her, although they've been apart for a bit of time due to Anguis taking a trip with Dragondad to see the rest of the Alternian Cities and sites. She's grown in the time he's been gone and it annoys him that he hasn't quite hit puberty yet, but she has.

Teen!Design
Anguis is a tall, bulky troll with a square face and usually, a peaceful small smile. His bulk is mainly from years of weightlifting for fun (usually anything spare and heavy he can throw around) and lucky enough genetics for a growth spurt to give him this build. His hair is shaved on the left in a style similar to Forera's, with most of the thick teal and black mane kept of out his face with a bandanna, but it manages to find itself in his right eye and hanging over his shoulder. Anguis's right horn is cut off around the base and his left curves around the side of his head, tip resting near his ear. His outfit is a sleeveless black shirt, symbol clearly printed on the front, paired with a pair of black jeans and teal colored sneakers. A belt holds a pouch on his left side, usually where he's kept darts for easy access. A black cord is wrapped around his neck twice and then the rest left under his shirt, the charm unknown.
On whatever arm is closest to the viewer a half/full sleeve cherry blossom tattoo, with teal colored flowers, is on his arm, in dedication to Forera. (Design something like [x], [x], or [x]) On his shoulders, peeking out from his shirt, is a pair of borneo roses. Anguis also has a pair of snakebites under his lip and two eyebrow piercings on his seen eyebrow.

what makes angu SNAP? because honestly I'll need to know that so I can get forera to nag him more... ;3
also! in the appearance post, you say her horn lands near his ear, but trolls don't have ears!

It's just a sort of reference place? Because saying "by the middle of his head" or where ever ears are located is really super awkward. I am totally not counting on him to have ears or anything it's just a general reference when it comes to the normal human head and setting things up |D

there is a bit of confusing wording in some parts, such as "you could very possibly get him under his control". also i feel like you repeat yourself a little, and ramble in a few places? this is to make it easier for other people to quickly look through and figure out who he is.
Often he'll walk out of the fights unscathed -> why? what does this guy have that lets him get away unscathed? what does he have that allows him to magically gain the edge over his opponents? remember that plenty of trolls on Alternia fight frequently, and just because he picks fights with a lot of people doesn't mean he's necessarily stronger than any other troll on the street. right now i see nothing, therefore i don't see a reason why he should end up getting out of trouble with no repercussions. see also: adrenaline thrill he gets from usually winning.
simply be an a*****e and he'll tolerate you with some aspirin and grit teeth -> For a guy who enjoy starting fights, this doesn't make sense at all. Why would he suffer through someone pissing him off, instead of taking the 'fun' route of punching them in the face? i don't see any reason for him to go through the effort of putting up with another trolls bs.
Beyond his overbearing and protective state, Anguis is a usually chill, creative troll. -> you just said that he's a rude guy who baits other trolls into starting fights with him. i don't see 'chill' as a guy who lives for the thrill of bloodlust and battle.
Often he'll strip the blood for the coloring and play with the toxins he uses for his darts, testing on himself. -> err, what does 'strip the blood' mean? another bit of awkward wording.
overall, i don't really feel .... a strong personality for anguis. a lot of his traits seem to go against each other, or just not .... make sense. you tell me what he's like, but you don't give me any reason why he's like that, or what's going on inside his head. -why- does he willingly backstab and lie to trolls, then turn around and protect others fanatically? what reasons does he give himself? why does he sit back, grit his teeth, and ignore other trolls insults sometimes, and other times try and punch their face through the back of their head? right now he's totally unpredictable in his reactions, and he needs a bit more consistency.
also, are he and forera twins? if so, you might want to mention that or something? after all, growing up with a twin troll is no minor part of his personality. and do they have the same lusus?

HELLO THERE! since you revised him heavily i'll just start reading through his stuff rather than review my old notes first you mention fighting quite a lot - i just wanna note that kids can't fight. well they -can- but their lusus won't let them take part in any battles and take the kid's place. i don't think you were around for that stuff, it's all written out here under 'Lusus Naturae and Kids' if you want to peruse it at your leisure cool his base blurb looks good! the first thing i'd like to touch on is his caring strength. while humans generally view this is a positive and admirable attribute, it just isn't the same with trolls. in alternian society, that's much more of a sign of weakness. since it's not something that's seen as admirable by others, how does it help him specifically? i can see it helping his friends, but for him all i read so far is that it gets him into trouble, brings out his temper, and leads to him being taken advantage of. wwhich kinda sucks for him. secondly! his blind loyalty. there's no question that this can be bad lmao but! if he's incredibly level-headed, how does he get to the point where he /is/ that obsessed about a friend? that seems to be much more of an emotional bond - or does he have some kind of 'twisted logic' behind it? with highbloods you mention that he'll realize that it's safer just to go along if he's being taken advantage of, but what about lowbloods? or is this something that mostly applies to highbloods? (if so maybe changing the name to something like loyal instead?) apart from that, the only things are two bits that seem missing. 1) forera! his twin! i'd work on this with quite if you want, but it really is such a rare thing for twin trolls to be born from the same egg. i'd love for you to write a -little- in his profile about what she is to him, and vice versa. were they separated at birth, or have they been together forever? if they were separated, how did they meet again? stuff like that. 2) while you give a little bit about his lusus, his parent is gonna play a large part in his childhood as it will accompany him everywhere. apart from encouraging him to be his best, how do they get along? how does Dragondad feel about his charge, is he proud? Dissatisfied? Resigned? What kind of troll does he want Anguis to be? Do they get along or bicker? What has he taught Anguis, in terms of living, survival, other trolls, and the hemospectrum? i hope the questions i asked inspire you to add in more where i mentioned. if you have any questions before requesting another critique, give me a quote!

Loyalty
His mindset behind it is more that it's been earned because it's been proven, although it's an easy thing to prove to him. His reactions to lowbloods is basically getting cut off from the friendship and his wrath, can't entirely do much as a kid! Also changed it to loyalty in general, it feels better as a descriptor
Forera & Dragondad
Quite and I discussed how they met on skype and added a blurb for her, Dragondad got a full paragraph addressing the questions!
Also edited out fighting stuff to make it seem more like an interest than something he can do

ok i gotta admit i feel bad for giving you loyal;;; > - >;; now me and cylem are throwing words around at each other on skype to try and find the clear best fit for what you're describing -- since if push comes to shove he 1) will walk away from lowbloods and 2) only go along with highbloods cuz their high, it's not really an emotional attachment at that point - plus loyal just sounds inherently positive lmao.
