It was one disaster after another. Something he thought would be a change of pace had turned into another outing from Amity doomed to be tainted. He wanted something to lighten his own mood, as well as his friends.
Thought of Mitsu sprung into his head then. He hadn't spent much time with her lately, and he was quite fond of the small lycan.
The reaper got an idea after spending a few hours playing with FooFoo, and set things up. He got tickets to a petting zoo, and texted the ghoul to make plans for the next day.
The day of the outing, he waited at the designated spot; a park outside of the Zoo's entrance. The cowboil stood by, smiling happily as he waited for his 'little sister'.

The trials had been over and Mitsu had slowly been getting news back about what the trial of death had held. It worried her some to know her friends had gone through so much, so when she got the text from Mot she was all but willing to set time aside for her big brother. She wanted to catch up and make sure he was okay.
When the next day came Mitsu was up early and rushed to the meeting spot in the park that Mot had told her about. Why did she leave early? Because she knew she would get lost. And lost she was up until five minutes prior to the meeting time. She finally spotted Mot off in the distance a smile spreading across her face as she rose a hand to wave at him as she approached.
"Big Brother!" She chirped as she trotted toward him.

"Little sis!" Mot called back, chuckling and waving. "Ready to pet some minipets?" He asked with a fond grin. The destination was probably a little childish, and many of it's visitors were indeed small scarelings. However, he felt she wouldn't mind at all.
The reaper held out a hand for Mitsu's, ready to lead her toward the entrance, tickets in his other hand. "I heard they have all kinds of minis here."

"Pet minis?" Mitsu's eye lit up reaching out for Mot's hand when she was close enough to do so. As he might have expected she didn't mind in the slightest. In fact...she was probably short enough to blend in with some of the scarelings. Mot would probably look like a chaperon.
Looking to the entrance a smile spread across the lycan's face. "I've never been to a petting zoo before! What kind of minis do you think they have?" She was already eagerly looking passed the line of people to get in, her tail wagging up a storm behind her.
While they waited Mitsu turned to up Mot after she saw all she could from behind the gate. Nothing much was in view from where they were. "How have you been, Big Brother? I heard the trials were....challenging?"

Jackpot. That was good to know. If this was Mitsu's first trip, that meant Mot would set the bar for her opinion of them. Awesome Big Brother is awesome. "I'm not sure. I haven't been to one since I was little." He explained cheerily. "I guess we'll both be surprised."
He turned to Mitsu as she asked him how he was, looking like he had to think about it. "I've been good, all things considering."
Ah, the Trials. Mitsu had just been a spectator after all. Mot was kind of glad for that. it meant she hadn't had to see what he had. "Horrifying." He said to the ghoul with a soft smile. "That is, the last one was."

The word brought a frown to her face, the lycan stepping closer so that she could wrap an arm around the reaper's back and side in a half hug. "I'm sorry. I wish I could have been there with everyone. Though I don't know how much help I would have been."
The last trial had sounded like an out of control roller coaster ride though not all the stories were the same. Something about refugee camps and some had managed to escape but still died in the end. Going home. That's what she had heard. It was troubling.
"Well, I hope this can at least take your mind off of things for a little while." Mitsu made an attempt to smile then to lighten the mood. They were supposed to be having fun after all! And they were nearly inside, they were the next inline to hand over their tickets to enter. Mitsu could already smell the minis from here, her eyes darting about to see what was close.

Mot smiled fondly at the half hug he received, giving her shoulder a squeeze in return. "Thank you. It's alright, I'm glad you didn't need to see it." One less trauma for anyone was a good thing.
"I'm sure this will. Let's just forget this being a student mess for an afternoon." He grinned happily, stepping forward and presenting his tickets to the person manning the entrance.
They were in now! The reaper squeezed the lycan's hand, moving toward the big map kiosk. He took one of the map flers and looked at what they could see. "Looks like it's set up into separate terrain exhibits. Let's check out the closest one first.. Land exhibit." Mot smiled and led the ghoul to the first section of the park. Many furry, cuddly mini pets pranced and frolicked in a small fenced in area. Eponys, Foxfires, Berrors and all sorts of cute and cuddly minis seemed to take up this part of the zoo.
"Oh, foxfires! They're my favorite." Mot admitted with a grin. "What's your favorite kind of mini, sis?"

Mitsu nodded in agreement, "Deal." For the day they would forget and just focus on having fun. Giving Mot's hand a squeeze in return she waited patiently, or as patiently as she could muster, while he handed over the tickets. Once inside her eyes grew wide looking around not even focused on the map kiosk that Mot was leading them too. Maps...such a good idea for the lycan who had no sense of direction.
"Land exhibit?" Mitsu nodded. That sounded like a good place to start and oh how it was. As soon as the little minis came into sight the lycan was pulling Mot forward so they could get to the barrier that cut them off from the fuzzy creature's faster. "Look look!" Her smile was beaming across her face as she pointed out the little tubefox as it wandered by.
"I think the Foxfires are really cute. I really want one but I'm afraid Ziggy would hurt it." Though she had been doing alright with her cycorgi homework assignment. Perhaps it was because the cycorgi had a tendency to lay on the acrobat when she got out of hand.
Though when she was asked which one was her favorite Mitsu seemed lost in thought. She had never been asked before. "I...I don't know. I like Milo, he's my boafox. I like the foxfires and I used to take care of a ghost dog until other student picked her up." She wasn't sure what she liked better but it seemed that the answer would most likely be a canine.

Mitsu's excitement had Mot smiling widely. It was so nice to see her enjoying herself. Watching the little rascals play in the pen was also enjoyable for him. "I see him." Mot laughed as Mitsu pointed out one of them.
Oh, Ziggy. He remembered Ziggy. The reaper chuckled lightly, despite the encounter he'd had. It was just a mini after all, nothing to hold a grudge over. "It's hard to pick a favorite sometimes." Mot agreed.
A small litter of boa foxes began playing in front of Mitsu, tumbling over each other like wild ferrets. Mot leaned over and scratched at the head of the closest one. It took a lot not to squee. He was a man! He would not squee!! But... so adorable...
"After this we could check out the aquatic ones." Mot mentioned, biting his lip as the little mini licked at his fingers.
CAN'T...HOLD...THE SQUEE....

Unlike Mot, Mitsu had no problem letting out her joy in the form of a squee as she knelt down to the baby boafoxes and began to pet them. She was probably making enough noise for the both of them. "Look how little. I can't imagine Milo being this little. I found him when he was full grown."
Gently she picked one of the little mini's up and held it up to have a look. This one was a bit different than Milo, gray in color with....was that an eye patch and a sword in its mouth? That hardly seemed safe. It didn't seem to matter though, it was adorable all the same.
"Oh look at you," Mitsu grinned widely when the little boafox's long tail began to sway back and forth. It was the closest they could get to wagging such a long tail.
"Where did you get FooFoo?" Mitsu decided to ask.

Mot had to laugh. Mitsu was adorable. All the squeals and the grinning, she was in her element. It warmed his heart. So much bad things had happened lately that it was just so nice to take in the good part of life.
"Oh, really? Did you just find him wandering or?" He asked in regards to Milo.
Her question had him thinking back. "Hm, well I've had him for almost a year now, ever since he was a small ball of fur." He recalled fondly. "I actually thought he was a ball of dust when I was cleaning my room. I was about to sweep him into a dust pan when he started rolling around the room."

"W..well I guess I should say Milo found me. I wasn't allowed to have pets at home...and Mr. Adolphus still doesn't know I have them or he would be angry...but the first day I came here I was lost." As she usually was. "I got side tracked in the park and decided to take a break and the next thing I knew I had a boafox climbing into my bookbag. I tried to leave him but he was so cute and he seemed so hungry by the way he had broken into my animal spookies."
And thus she had gotten a Milo though the ghoul seemed to enjoy the story about FooFoo. "You thought he was a ball of dust?" The thought made her giggle but she could see where it might happen. They were so small and fluffy when they were little.
Not long after a small herd of stunted ponies came into the clearing. Once again Mot would find Mitsu tugging on his sleeve and pointing out the small creatures as they moved closer grazing along the way.

Mot chuckled at Mitsu's story. Minis tended to have such varying personalities, it was quite interesting. "Ah, stolen spookies. While FoofFoo hasn't take my food," Since he rarely had any, "He sometimes pilfers from others." Oh the times he's had to apologize for FooFoo's cleptomania. Food being the least troubling.
"A very pretty ball of dust." Mot corrected with a laugh.
Mitsu's tugging earned Mot's attention, turning his head to what she was pointing out. His eyes lit up as a herd of stunted ponies came toward them. Not as fun as skeletal horses, but still cool! Tentatively, he reached out a hand and petted the mane of one of them.

"Hehe, you make Foofoo sound like a pirate." The thought amused her. She could see Foofoo with his little pirate hat and a bandanna pilfering through purses and pockets for bounty. "A pretty pirate." She corrected shortly after with a chuckle.
Mitsu looked up as a small family of scareon came through the bushes. She hardly ever saw scareon and they were rather cute looking things but she couldn't help but feel their pace was rather fast....like they were running from something.
Not a moment later another group of minis came through the bushes. Mimics. A good ten of them. They rolled into the clearing one eye circling around taking everything in while their teeth snapped and chewed making it look like they had gotten a hold of a scareon by the tail hanging out of their mouths. Mitsu went a little wide eyed as the mimics seemed to spot them tugging on Mot's sleeve and pointing though this time it wasn't toward anything cute.

FooFoo wishes he was a pirate.
Mot hadn't noticed the stampede of mimics until Mitsu tugged on his sleeve. He looked up, cringing as the scareons fled from them. "Er..." Mot looked around nervously, wondering if the mimics were supposed to be terrorizing scareons in a petting zoo.
"Let's... move onward.." Mot didn't exactly have the uthority to be jumping into a pen because of some rascally wildlife.
