⋆ History :: Tao's mother was kicked out of her house whenever his grandmother found out she was pregnant with him. She was at a young age when she moved out with her boyfriend, he didn't have a home so unfortunately they were living on the streets whenever he was born. They then got married. Tao's father was once not a very good man. He was a drunk, he would use his paychecks to buy alcohol and nothing else. This distress his mother. Though once Tao's mother became pregnant again with his little sister his grandmother had came to them and offered them a home. She had forgiven his mother and allowed them live there, though under one condition. That his father sober up. She threatened and cussed him out on the porch of her home until he promised to never touch another bottle and help out with the children. Luckily he did, he has never touched a bottle since that night. Tao had a hard time transitioning from streets to home. He was so used to the old ways, working with his friends for quick cash by having older citizens bet money on them on a street fighting match. Tao started when he was 13 and usually fought boys his age or a year or two older. He wasn't the best when he started but was taken under the wing of one of the best street fighters in District 5, a man nicknamed Zeus. He taught him small things that became very vital in fights. As Tao got older he became famous around the District for his skills and moves, though nobody knows him by his real name. On the streets he's known as Ares, which from ancient history is the god of war. He wears a mask so nobody can see his face, though there is someone who knows his identity. His younger sister. She found his mask one day when he came home late. She begged and pleaded for him to stop and after a long time of thinking he decided it was best for his family to quit. He had already made a lot of money off of it so he would be able to live a perfectly decent life with his winnings. Though he still sneaks around and does it once in a while.
