How high do you go? are you the careful sort or are you the reckless type
keep in mind you get better rewards the higher you go, but you risk losing a LOT of hearts if you die, plus the difficulty goes down if you decide to retry.
Here are the levels...
0 = Effortless
1 = Easy
2 = Standard
3 = Tougher
4 = Challenging
5 = Heatin' Up
6 = Extra Spicy
7 = Infernal (where I am currently on)
8 = White Hot
9 = Nothing Harder. (you'd have no excuse losing to online people at this point)

This is one reason I was afraid to get the game, I bet I'd never make it very high on difficulty, so I probably wouldn't get great items.

I am going to get the game in the following days (I ordered it online after failing to get one in stores that are near where I live at), and I guess that I will start with standard and rise gradually as I get better. I probably would end up getting to the highish levels of difficulty, but I'd be afraid to lose a lot of hearts sweatdrop

Aw man, lets see. I did the first two chapters on 2.0, then i actually went straight back and sent that Insanity Cauldren and cranked it straight up to 9.0.
Didn't stand a chance Dx. I made it to the ground tho :O...Ground Forces did the job the air forces couldn't handle.

Start at 6 its tough enough for you to get through it for challenge and high enough to open most gates*holds his trusty twinbello cannon from the first stage*

I've been slowly climbing. I just got comfortable at 3.5. I'm afraid to take it up any higher. It's not that I've ever died or even got close to dying...I'm just afraid I WILL and THEN I'll lose the hearts I bet!

Me?
I am going to steadilly train with each chapter until I can beat each at 9. I am gunning hard for stronger weapons, as well as using the training area a lot,
Some weapons give you Overall Defense but if you ever get a power called
"Mega Laser" GO FOR IT!!! Seriously! it does multiple damage and great for those bosses that get on your nerves on harder difficulties.

God, I hate ,Mega Lazer in multiplayer. I should know, i spam that power HARD. When the time goes 3,2,1 GO, the first shot fired is my mega lazer aiming for Otis. Then Luna is like, tehre goes Arietta spamming those mega Lazers at Otis again. Sersiouly i got a lvl 4 Mega Lazer, takes up like 25% of the full tetris power block, it really useful to drain multiple targets and such, i dont use powers in boss battles. I ALWAYS forget i have those powers to use on them.
Anyways, So far i been able to take down ch 1-3 on 9.0. I trying pretty hard to do 9.0 on ch 4 and on, but i just lost like 5k trying to hard. xD

I am still trying to pass the game. The highest difficulty I tried was 4.5.

Seriously, you do use the Mega Laser and the Black Hole thing on me a bunch. ANYWAY, I haven't even tried 9.0 yet, I feel like I'd fail badly. I've been staying around a comfortable 5.0 or somewhere around there.

omg i lov e this game!! its so fun and 4 mp i can go play against bots! but back to the q i try and play on 7 its good but then i try to replay levels i beat on hard it funny at the start the diff goes from 9 to the last level which is like 2.6 XD

I'm finally beating levels on 8 now. that's not an easy feat to do, in other news, I am going to do more online matches thursday, but I didn't know you could fight computer opponents too, (though wheres the fun in that?)

Luna, Stop meelee me and i don't need to use a power that sucks you to make distances DX. Lol, psssst Luna Pro meelee, if she gets to close you're toast Dx.
I'm literally stuck on a chapter now. I'm on Chapter 13....or 14....I can't beat it....even on 2.0,,,i keep dying DX.
