Meh I wanted to get everything together I ever made relating to this. Art, texts, characters and musings. That and I wouldn't mind input of others. I'm hoping to throw this story out to the world in one form or another. I just can't decide in what form. Paper or digitally? Book or comic? CGI's or a game? I have the skills and knowledge space available for all of these options. So instead of deciding yet I'm just going to throw everything I have in here. Comment thread: Just go say what you think or what you'd addthis here still under construction only I am allowed to post here

The city of EzurDescription
short This here story plays in an underground city called Ezür and the year is 1060 after the awakening. The exact origins of the city are unclear and almost untold. In the years the true story was deformed and hidden by parties with other interests then a knowledgeable public. What is known is that more than a thousand years ago the surface became too dangerous to live. The people in the city believe they're the sole survivors of an apocalypse with out a true name. All that's left in the stories of the city is that it was created in the wake of fire.
But what is the real truth behind this and is the truth still attainable?
long Ezur is a cavern city which was built on the foundations of a really really old testing facility. The only remains of this still left is the still working and active facility of Delta Tech and 5 support pillars. The city can be divided in a small merchant's quarter with a single route beyond the main cavern to other places underground. This first quarter also has some forms of fencing and walls to make the difference more than clear. Another thing that was prized in the merchant's quarter were garden spots. Places in the cavern where both water and sun slipping through holes in the cavern sealing created fertile enough ground for plants to grow and thrive. The merchant's quarter is the only quarter with such places. The remaining two quarters are the general quarter and the slums. The latter is far more sizeable than the other and the only thing making a difference between the two is the general state of the buildings. Obviously the people in the slums don't have the resources required to keep their buildings in a proper state. Part of the cavern that houses the city isn't used. The only people that ever venture in these regions are either hunters of bounties or workers at the garbage facility in this region. This last region are often named the outlands and the cavern walls are riddled with passages. The only person know to have ventured in these is the ratman.
The city was populated a millennium ago when the surface world's politics became increasingly unstable. It was initially a way to feel safer and finally the salvation of the inhabitants. The 'wake of fire' still mentioned in stories of the local's was a nuclear apocalypse. Delta Tech -the original owners of the cavern before this apocalypse- were trusted with monitoring the surface for when it could be considered safe. Instead they used their power of both knowledge and resources -for they are responsible for manufacturing food and other things- as a way to keep the populace in the cavern for years to come.
In those years that people have lived in the cavern they haven't remained completely safe. Some of the nuclear pollution seeped through into the cave. Some people grew terribly sick, others were born with shortcomings and yet others were born with special talents and skills. Not everybody is sure how to deal with these people, especially those born without afflictions or strange diseases. Some of these talents were helpful and just as many were worse than the diseases. If it was worse than a disease than it had to be bad right. Then it had to be cured right? Pleas from the populace to find a definite cure lead Delta Tech instead to create experiments to recreate the effect. Sometimes it worked, but more often than not it led to monstrosities. Monstrosities were in turn let lose into Ezur for the Central Protection Unit -CPU- to deal with it. Yet, at the same time some of the talented -or yet better mutated- people started hunting these creatures for an easier way to survive in the town. CPU saw an easier solution to Delta Tech's mess and Delta Tech saw a way to find more interesting specimens from time to time. They attained these specimens either with attractive offers or through kidnapping. Neither those willing nor those unwilling are ever seen alive again. In some rare cases they're even found murdered by the local crime syndicate.
Delta Tech didn't perform the kidnappings themselves and instead employed the greatest crime syndicate in town. As a matter of fact this group calls themselves The Syndicate and they make it their business to either destroy or consume the competition. The Syndicate is led by a mysterious man only known as Shade. Even members of the group have a hard time to guess his age or even how he looks because he always wears a full mechanical mask. Some even think he might be a successful Delta Tech experiment. In truth behind the mask there is only an extremely cunning man of flesh and bone that was never involved in any experiment.
A part of The Syndicated was called The Mongers because they were responsible for spreading a drug known as angel dust amongst the population. Yet, increasingly brutal extermination of competition caused the group to break free from The Syndicate and they've been quite successful at staying alive and active since they broke free from the leadership of Shade. At some point a few enlightened minds turned the course of the group directly against the syndicate in hopes of improving life in Ezur. The conflict escalated and force The Mongers to go underground and become a legend. The common folk often refer to this group for the good things that even though they're no longer sure if it still exists. The war still rages on though and almost every day the mongers lose precious members to The Syndicate.

Delta Tech
short This is actually a group of scientist that hardly mingle in the business of the city. They seem to be very secretive and getting involved in their experiments is considered an honour. Strangely enough none of the people that get involved have been seen again or a found dead in the street, killed by a rogue of the Syndicate.
It is also thought by the mongers that these scientist secretly have the city in their control.

The Syndicate
short This is technically the last remaining criminal organization in the city. They fervently prevent the rise of other groups with similar interest and are the main cause of the lawlessness in the city. They ensure their operations can continue through bribing of the CPU and killing those in the force that think it's a smart plan to try and enforce law upon the Syndicate. They run a very lucrative business with a drug commonly known as angel dust.
They wage a war against the mongers that they're winning and it's suspected that their leader has ties with Delta Tech.

The Mongers
short This group is much smaller than the other three mainly because of their goals. They're almost the exact opposite of the Syndicate even though their origins lay in that organisation. They started out as dealers of angel dust and in a response to the almost brutal extermination of competition they split of from the original organization.
In later years enlightened minds changed the direction of this group to a general change of the conditions in the underground city and an end to the corruption of CPU. They also try to figure out the secrets of Delta Tech, but so far they know next to nothing. In response to the brutality of the Syndicate they've become allot more secretive to the point that they're almost a legend in the city. They still lose members on a regular basis though.
Besides the continuing fight against their greatest enemy their current main interest is finding out where all these creatures in the caverns keep coming from.

Central Protection Unit
short What started out as a proper force of law enforcement and a government is only a mere shadow of what it was. It's generally known that they take bribes from the local crime lord of the syndicate. What is less known is that they also take bribes from Delta Tech.
Most of the 'police men' are brutal and actually enjoy torturing innocent for no apparent reason. They're also the ones to put up the bounties on creatures. The current head of CPU is also unknown.
