Shina danced lightly over the springy grass of the park. She didn't feel like working on her self-defense moves in a place as potentially public as this, but the fast flight of her feet got her blood moving nicely, especially with such a quick song.

Letting out a loud yawn Snuffles toddled behind River as she attempted to balance on the palms of her hands, flailing and tucking her legs the boyish trainer grunted as she summoned raw strength to propel herself forward. Brushing chubby fingertips through the black and blue tuffs of feathers on the tip of her noggin Snuffles shook her head ever so slightly as she watched her human, honestly she had no what was wrong with the redhead; but she was hers. Puffing up her small yellow chest the water-type smacked her beak together then rushed towards the slender girl and tackled into her arms, she needed to practice and her owner needed to learn to pay attention to her environment.
“SNUFFLES!” Irritably shrieked the teen as she hit the ground and rolled with the impact. “You are so mean, you little jerk. Come here!” Squealing the pudgy yellow and blue duck took off into a flat-webfoot run, throwing her hands into the air the psyduck giggled and darted away from the slender youth as she attempted to scoop her up. “I am so serious Snuffles, get back here, don’t make me pout!”
Throwing her head back Snuffles flailed as the crimson manned human-noodle groped at her and narrowly missed, kicking it into high gear the water-type spotted another creature like that resembled her trainer with the exception of her hair color, with a loud exclamation of something close to a war cry Snuffles bolted towards the prancing dark-haired noodle girl. “PSssssssssssssy! Duuuuuuuck!”

Shina had just folded into a fast, low bow, one leg outstretched and toe pointed delicately as the song came to an abrupt end when she heard "PSssssssssssssy! Duuuuuuuck!”, her only warning before a feathery bundle crashed into her supporting leg. In the precarious position she was in, Shina couldn't keep her balance, and ended up toppling over to end up on her bottom. Glancing around to see if she could spot the duck's trainer, Shina's eyes fall on River. "River, I think this is yours!" Shina called playfully, gesturing to Snuffles.
((I'm assuming you would have caught Snuffles before we reach Motterossa, and that you would have let him out at least once in the caravan. Let me know if this doesn't work for you!))

Grinning in a very odd manner the psyduck snapped her fingers together and pointed towards Shina with her forefingers and thumbs extended, she was a cocky little pudgeball whom was far more of a mommy’s girl than even Lookit though she seldom revealed that openly. Sprinting as fast as her long legs could carry her River headed directly towards the ebony-haired socialite with each step she took her pale face darkened in pigment until she was bright red and wearing an expression that clearly read as embarrassed.
“Oh, Snuffles…” shaking her head crimson locks cascaded across the flustered pink flesh of the tomboy’s cheeks. “I am so sorry about that Shinnie, that little feathery fruit has been giving me grief all day. We just got done with her training and she still isn’t tired.” Eying Shina the former dancer proceeded next to the other girl then brushed her hands over the slender female’s frame dusting her off, minding her hands when it came to certain spots. “She didn’t hurt you did she? Need me to kiss any booboos?”
(Yup that works)

Shina laughed brightly. River was always playing around! "No, no, I'm fine," Shina assured the other girl as she rose to her feet. "So, are you busy still?"

Latching onto River's leg Snuffles made a very open attempt to cuddle against her own and try to smooth over her lack of manners. Thin digits brushed through the silky black and blue feathers that rested atop of her psyduck's head, allowing herself a more relaxed genuine grin the redhead straightened to her full height then flicked her tongue across the silver loop at the corner of her lip as if trying to summon some sort of verbal charm from the small attach.
"I'm done with training my baby for the day, I was just doing some stretches," beaming a toothy, rather impish expression towards her friend the tomboy flexed her fingertips, for a moment River simply stood rigid however within a blink of the eye she dropped down to her elbows at an awkward angle then rolled her body upward along her forearms until she was perfectly vertical on the palms of her hands. "I am trying to get my upper body strength at the level that I want it to be, I can't help but feel like I am getting pudgy. Why what's up, gorgeous?"

"You certainly aren't anywhere near pudgy, River! But I can understand wanting to stay in shape. I was dancing earlier. Would you like to join me for a song or two, and maybe breakfast after?" Shina offered.

Blushing softly the long-haired youth scratched the side of her face for a moment as she toyed with the idea of dancing with Shina, the last time they shared a moment like that River had lost herself in the moment and found herself growing increasingly attracted to her. Plump yellow wings gave an encouraging yet playful shove at the back of River's knees then nuzzled the back of her calf lovingly, Snuffles was such a sweetheart in her own odd way.
"Breakfast sounds really good," happily murmured the teen as she took a step forward then bowed at the waist and extended her hand towards the dark-haired aristocrat, icy blue hues gazed up at Shina as a coy yet charming smirk played across the redhead's face. "I would be ******** pleased as punch to dance with you beautiful."

Smiling, Shina swept a curtsy that managed to imply sweeping skirts despite the pants she was wearing, and delicately placed her hand in River's. Pulling out her music player, she cued a song. ((I also had a lyric version, but I thought you would like the Tutu version better. Just ignore the intro and outro song clips. This song is one Shina thinks of when she thinks of home and her dad.))

River gripped Shina's hand and held her breath as she waited for the music to fill the silent void between them, a faint grin tugged at the corner of her mouth as the song began to play, the tempo was slow enough to keep contact with the dark-haired socialite yet upbeat enough to truly just allow her body to take control and enjoy the rhythm.
"This isn't a half bad song," nonchalantly murmured the teen in a candid manner. "I would adore letting you dance to my mp3 player sometime. I am sure I would wear you out though, most of my music is really fast. I am really into techno right now and this stupid stuff called dubstep, I dunno--- oh--- sorry!" Biting down onto her bottom lip the redheaded youth silenced herself from blathering on about the type of music she enjoyed, sometimes she honestly couldn't help herself. Stepping a full body length apart from Shina River spun the girl in her arms then dipped her, strong well-trained arms revealed themselves in the morning glow, tight lean muscles elongated elegantly with the fluid motion then flexed as the crimson manned trainer brought Shina back to her feet. The execution of the maneuver flawless and superb. Squealing happily Snuffles padded along side of the two waltzing by herself in what appeared to be a Psyduck Snuffle Shuffle, flipper, flipper left, flipper, flipper right, twirl.
"You're a natural ya know that--- the way your body moves though, you don't want to follow, you wanna lead." The breath that left River's mouth caught her off guard as she heard her thoughts exit her mouth, flicking the tip of her tongue over the silvered loop at the edge of her pouty bottom lip the nineteen-year-old stiffened and missed a step.
SNAP!
Wincing for just a millisecond as her ankle audibly popped River rolled her foot from ball to toe correcting her placement and adjusted her weight accordingly to the injury, it was just a sprain, nothing to worry about.
"Ah--" If it was only a sprain why did it hurt so bad? "Sorry 'bout that."

Shina's eyes narrowed and she used the grip she already had on River's hand and shoulder to neatly shift the redhead's weight to the the ankle that hadn't made the audible crack, then firmly tugged, guiding River into a controlled fall. With River on the ground, Shina tugged her hands free and ran her fingers over the leg the noise had come from. Just to be safe, she checked the knee before moving down.
"Well, clearly here I need to take the lead. Honestly, dancers. Must you insist on dancing on broken bones? This isn't even a performance!" Shina scolded as she tried to get a look at the ankle.

River paled just slightly and forced the sob that she felt bellowing up in her chest to settle somewhere silently between, she refused to let the pain be voiced, if she allowed it acknowledgement then it was real and deserved to be treated. “No, no, it is fine. It isn’t broken…” A bold bluff escaped her tightly drawl lips in retort to the other trainer’s objection. Cool fingertips played along her knee then brought her foot up for a clear inspection.
“Honestly---Shina---c’mon babe----c’mon, I said it was fine.” Frantically insisted the redhead in a voice that rose in pitch with each continuous verbal succession she directed towards the dark-haired beauty. “Listen!” Shrilly yelped the ex-dancer as her foot moved at just the right angle. Obviously the noise that Shina had hear was more than just a sprain, visibly it was something far more severe. Sucking in a sharp gasp River jutted her head backwards and tore her fingers into the grass and dirt that surrounded her. “It’s dislocated, maybe broken. I’m not gonna cry, I’m not gonna cry---“ Nuzzling her owner affectionately Snuffles stared worriedly towards the other human, her large blue eyes begging for her to fix whatever was wrong with her companion.

Shina grabbed two pokeballs and released their occupants. "Annabell, Blizzard please. Over there." She pointed off to the side. "I need ice, please." Annabell looked disappointed that she didn't get to attack anything, but obediently summoned a small flurry of snow. She glanced at Shina to see if it was enough. Shina nodded. "Thank you Annabell. Return." Shina rose and walked over to her knapsack. After fishing around for a moment, she pulled out two squares of cloth. One cloth was quickly unfolded into a much larger square, filled with snow, and wrapped around River's ankle. The other cloth was tied around the snow-pack and knotted to keep the improvised ice pack in place. Shina finally turned to her second pokemon. "Rasha, could you kneel? It will be easier to get River on your back that way." Rasha folded herself to the ground. Shina turned back to River. "Okay, here's the plan: We get you on Rasha, I mount behind you, and we head to the hospital. That work for you?"

River gave Shina an expression that was a mix between ‘are you serious’ and ‘you are a genius’, allowing herself to hiss as the makeshift compress was fashioned to her ankle the longhaired redhead tugged at one of her own pokeballs and quickly flicked the button returning Snuffles to the confines of her alternate home, she didn’t need to be traumatized any further. Latching the red and white device back onto her belt the injured teen forced herself to stand, deep breathes were greedily sucked between bared teeth as she rose on her own.
Attempting to climb out of the pitfall of helplessness she suddenly found herself trapped within River folded her slender arms over her small chest and let out a heavy sigh. “Yeah, as much as I loath going to the hospital I guess I really have no choice.” Limping pathetically over to the bowed equine the girl took a moment to run her hands over his coat before she mounted him. She had always wanted a pokemon big enough to ride however all of her pokemon were small and even when fully evolved wouldn’t be large enough to lounge on comfortably, maybe piggyback but that would be the extent. There was just something that made her feel incredibly unsafe about coiling around a one foot eight inch darkness pokemon and letting him attempt to fly her to various locations, regardless of how much Silo insisted she just couldn’t bring herself to humor the overly possessive crow.
“You sure Sasha,” she butchered the fiery mount’s name accidently as she held onto his strong, thick neck avoiding his flaming mane. “Can carry us? I mean, won’t we hurt his back?”

Shina decided that River's ankle must be hurting a great deal. She mounted behind the other girl, wrapping an arm around River's waist to make sure the red-head wouldn't fall when Rasha rose or moved. "Rasha will be just fine. She is a Ponyta, she's bred for this," Shina reassured River, while restating the proper name for her mount and correct gender. She didn't stress either though, as River was hurt enough to mess up in the first place. "Rasha, up please." Shina's legs, strong from riding, clamped firmly around Rasha. Shina sat rock-steady, even as Rasha climbed to her hooves, an inherently awkward motion.
